Lee's POV
I made my way towards the front row of seat giving a faint smile to Momma. Its my graduation day but I am not happy. Guess the reason, my dad and my two brothers, Gautam and Maanav, were not attending this important day of my life. How they had the heart to miss it?
I can't believe your dad and brothers are not attending! How could they?
Sierra my best friend asked me.
They are just busy with work. They have been trying to grab the deal for a month. Its important too.
There goes the defending.
Hey look.. your long time crush is looking at you.
I said diverting the topic. She turned all googly eyed and stared at a cute looking man.
I tuned out the speeches delivered by principal and others. I was too depressed to hear that. Suddenly I heard my name being announced as the best and top candidate in Harvard University. Taking a long breath and plastering a fake smile I walked towards the podium. Suddenly I heard some familiar voices cheering for me. Turning around, I spotted my dear dada and my two sweet little bros grinning. All my fake smile vanished and I became so excited that I started clapping and jumping in the stage. Someone cleared their throats and I came back from my exciting land. I received my certificates and it was time for speech.
Ladies and gentlemen, I feel honored to stand in front of a brilliant crowd of graduates.

Finally all our tensions of class test are over. No class bunking, late night sneakings, no messing with professors etc which I m going to miss a lot.
Now its time to step on to the real world which is full of competitors. Use your talents, degrees and instincts to face the challenges. You be the hero of yourselves.
But in this run don't lose your humanity and love for family. Family is an important thing in our life. When I joined college, dad said only one thing. "I don't want to know you as Leah Maan Singh Khurrana. But I want to know myself as father of Leah Maan Singh Khurrana".
I heard a gasp from the audience.
Yes, I know most of you don't know who my father is because I kept myself in a low profile. And I am proud to achieve this degree, because I earned it from my sweat, not from my surname. I worked hard and studied hard. And here's the result.
Always have hope and stay motivated, if you can go through college you can do anything.

She pouted cutely making us all laugh. But I could see happiness in her eyes. if she was not there, i would have probably been dead. i was 10 years old when they told me about my real parents. At first i was so numb. but when i thought about that, they are the best parents anyone could ask for. No its not the time to reminisce the past.
You are the best momma in the whole world.

Where is dada?
There is another surprise for you sweetheart. Just look at the stage.
When I turned around dad and my bros were stringing their guitars in a pop star style and then they looked at me and winked.

Then he sang "Never grow up" Taylor swift song. His voice was so husky, so calm with full of emotions. I never knew this part of him.
When the song finally ended the entire crowd clapped and my eyes were filled with tears. I hugged mom, even she was trying to control her sob. I love you.. i mouthed to my sweet dad and gorgeous bros.
We were going back to our home. Dad arranged a small party for my welcome. Aunt Annie and her husband with their kid of 10 years old were attending. She is staying in California, but comes at special occasion. Mike marries his Italian boyfriend and they adopted a baby boy 2 years back. Lisa and Alex married and they have a boy and a girl.
Now there's another problem. My love life. Brian Carter, his name. You guys don't remember? The boy from the part when I was kid. Surprising we were in same school and university. I think Momma knows it. But I dunno how to convince dada. He is going to be after that poor man's life. God! Please help Brian.
