we too have that ritual and we do it in vijayadashami.. No separate day is taken for this.. And the first word guru make the kid write is "Hari sree ganapathaye namaha.. avikhnamasthu!'. it will be written on raw rice/grains.
then he will make us write the alphabets of malayalam..

so i understood when u said abt aksharabyas on last update..

i am there again bit upset thi call ki chakkar mai i got that today happy now 😆
