Note... This is a fiction inspired by some facts and incidents form our surroundings . On d other side Geet was also very worried though she threatened him but she can't trust him and his Dadima * she was in a tight situation coz only few days back she settled here and joined Arjun * she didn't have any place to go now * she decided that after this sem leaves she never come here * right now she could only wait and watch .

Adi came after two days and Maan told him to get all info about Geet * he told him to look after d work of that site where Geet was working as an employee and try to dovelop friendship with her * don't disclose that u know me * Adi understood and assured him * from d very next day he joined that site as an employee at d construction part of d building * at lunch time he came in d basement in pretext to check d work from KC's side and met to d workers of Arjun's Co who wr laying d elec cables * he casually met Geet and asked a place to live as PG * she excused herself saying that she is new in d city and Pandeyji could help him * Adi met Pandeyji and requested him to find a place for him near him * pandeyji liked Adi's soft nature and assured him to help him .

Arjun stuck at NJ as Annie's Mom was serious and operated * he was contacting with Geet and his ofiice staff on line and giving instruction for work * here Geet and Pandeyji wr looking d work and in San Francisco's office Meera was attending d work with Arjun's help . 3-4 days had passed like this and weekend arrived * Adi too settled in same locality where Geet and Pandeyji wr living and he mingled with them easily coz of his jolly and humble nature * their co and work wr diff but d building was same and all 3 went back home together . After getting some info from Geet in their talks, Adi informed Maan about Geet .

Adi: hello ssiiirrr.

Maan: hello Adi , how is Geet?

Adi: sshee iiss fine siirr.

Maan: hhmmm, any news?

Adi: yeeess siirr.

Maan: hhmm , bolo.

Adi:Siirr, Geet is doing her MS from Stanford Uni and she knew Arjun very well and his sis Meera is Geet's friend * Geet mostly spent her weekends at Arjun's house and he is like her local guardian here .

Maan: OK,thanks Adi and be carefull , Geet ko tum per doubt nahi hona chahiye.

Adi: ji sir.

Maan cut sd call and lost in his thoughts * how Geet knew Arjun ? Arjun is settled in US from many yrs * he became more curious to know about Geet * now a days his day started and ended with Geet's thoughts .

Dadima too was very eager to see Geet and wanted to apolgize for their inhuman behavior but Maan was stopping her.

It was Sunday and Meera had left for NJ * Geet decided to purchase some kitchen stuff for d week and went to Indian Store/Baazar ( there wr 2-3 in SF)* she was busy in collecting and seeing d things in d store when she felt a touch on her shoulder from back .

Geet turned back to see d person and very next moment she shuddered with a shock * she was staring without a blink and then heard her name from opposite side ... Geet.

Geet didn't reply and stood there motionless * nothing is there to say but past rewound in her mind with in seconds * she heard her name again with a soft touch on her cheek ... Geet beta.

It was Dadima who came there for purchasing some Indian items and saw Geet * her palpitation increased and she came close to Geet with shaky feet and placed her and on her shoulder * Dadima was chocked with emotions and happiness * she was so eager to meet Geet and today she find her * Dadima was overwhelmed and decided to talk Geet to assure her they won't harm her .

Geet came in sense with d touch and negativity and anger overpowered her seeing this old lady who being a lady didn't help her that day * she didn't give any heed to her plight and moved on leaving her on d road * Geet removed her hand from her cheek and turned to go without uttering any word * Dadima held her hand with a entreaty.

Dadima: Geet beta plzz ,, ek baar humse baat karo ( she requested with teary eyes)

Geet tried hard to control her anger but some bitterness mingled in her words.

Geet: sorry , i'm not interested in any talk * I don't know u , let me go.

Dadima: plzz beta , hum aapko koi nuksaan nahi pahuchayenge , aap darro matt.

Geet: nuksaan, huhh , aap logo ko jo nuksaan pahuchana tha wo pahucha chuke , ab kya baki hei ? plzz aap apna kam kijiye aur mujhe mera kerne do ,, leave my hand plzz , and u can't force me like this .

Geet removed her hand form hers and moved on taking her trolley * tears roll down from Dadima's eyes and few ppl and attendant wr quietly looking at her * she wiped her eyes and walk few steps but wobbled and pressed her hand on her chest , swayed and fell down unconscious * 2-3 lady and attendant rushed at her at once and then run towards d counter to inform d owner (a Gujrati)* Geet was at d billing counter that time * it became chaos in d store and all rushed towards Dadima * d attendant saw Geet and told her .

Att: ma'am d lady who was talking to u fell down there if u know her plzz help us.

Geet: what!!!

Att: yes, that elderly lady .

Geet was stunned listening this * she forgot everything and rushed at that side and saw Dadima laying there unconscious * d attendant told d owner that this girl knew her and he too requested her to help them * d owner called d ambulance at once * all d ppl became very tense and soon d ambulance was there with all life support systems *they placed dadima in d van asked about d person who was with d lady * d owner gestured at Geet and they told her to accompany them * having no other option Geet sat with Dadima and after few min they were in city hospital * Dadima was taken to ICU at once * D med staff told Geet to fulfil all d formalities at d counter regarding patient * Geet was in a fix .. what to do ? She didn't know anything about Dadima and Maan * She thought and took Dadima's phone and search Maan's number to inform him .
