Prologue...

She was for him , but he denied her in an illusion . He forced her and she embraced death for his happiness . she was Selfless ,pure and mature. He was selfish , stained and immature. What would happen when his illusion disappeared and he would face the bitter truth .

The sorrow of losing what we love is nothing to the torment of having it present but denied us .

Note... This is a fiction inspired by some facts and incidents form our surroundings . Adi: sir , everything is very complicated and confusing regarding her .

Maan: what!!! ( he stood up from his chair .. shocked)

Adi: yes sir, ppl said that Geet cousin bro and his friends killed her when she tried to run away from home with her boy friend.

Maan: no , it can't be possible .

Adi: sir, I personally met with few ppl and they wr afraid of that goon type boy and didn't speak openly,but it is true sir , they killed her and threw her body in river * even ur Haweli's servant also said that.

Maan froze at his place and forgot that Adi was speaking on d line * her pleading words were ringing in his mind and terrified face was flashing in his memories * adi was saying Hello...Hello from other side but Maan was numb * Adi cut d call getting no reply but Maan was standing there having his phone near his ear * d words ,,, they killed her,, wr hammering him again and again * he felt like someone snatched his all energy from his body and he slumped on his chair .. she is no more ,,, they killed her ,,, they killed her on that day * he was feeling suffocated and wanted to runaway from there .

Maan left a msg with his secretory to cancle his meetings of d day * he came out and drove off to unknown detination * the memories of her pleading for help ,her terrified face and adi's words that they killed her wr nailing his mind and heart * after hr he was out of city on a countryside road * he parked d car sideway and cried out loud * that day he didn't help her in his greed and selfishness * to save his plan he became stoneheart and left a helpless girl on d road * it was he who forced her to refuse though she was thinking about family and his Dadima's but he made d story that she like someone else * Geet didn't said that but she step back bcoz of me * but why she ran away from her home and why they killed her ? God !! she is no more now ,,, Geet is no more now and somewhere he was also responsible of her killing * his lil help could save her life but he turned his face from humanity and it cost her life.

Maan's POV ...

It was me who started this * I forced her to deny and she did that and cleared my path to marry sam ... that B**** for whom I lied that Geet like someone else * I don't know i'm right or wrong in this coz her running away from home that night confusing me but I could help her * I was afraid and became selfish in love ... what if she blurted out d truth in front of Dadima * Dadima was angry on her refusal and denied to help her thinking that she was running away from home with her boyfriend * I don't know d real truth but we could save her life to help her * now she is died and we wr also responsible in her demise not to help her and pushed her in d hands of death * see what I got in all this ,,, only betrayal ... I hurt Dadima , my parents' souls and a girl lost her life * my lil help could save a life but I didn't and God punished me for this , I deserve a broken and lonely life * i'm also a culprit , a sinner and an inhuman * now I have to bear this burden on my heart .

Maan came in reality hearing d Angelus bell's sounds * Maan sighed and some drops of tears rolled down from her eyes * He wiped them and looked around * there was a Church nearby and d sound was coming from there * he walked towards d church and entered there * it was d afternoon prayer time * he sat there to pray for d peace of Geet's soul and to accept his sins * he confessed his flub in front of God but then thought about his Dadima * it was easy to confess in front of God but it will be very difficult to confess in front of Dadima * he felt that someone sqeez his heart when he thought about Dadima * how she would react on this ?

Maan stayed there many hrs and at eve he dragged out from church and started back to home * he saw many missed calls in his phone from office but he didn't bother to reply * he was very disturbed and his guilt was killing him . He entered in KV and straightway went to his room * servant informed Dadima about Maan's arrival and she went to meet him in his room * Maan was going to his pool side when Dadima stopped him * he stood with a lowered head.

Dadima: Maan , I want to talk to u , come in ur room.

Maan : yes Dadima , he followed her.

Dadima: what's wrong with u Maan , u changed a lot after coming back from India , it was u who wanted to marry Sam and now i'm allowing u for that then why r u denying ?

Maan kept quiet and he was staring at floor with tightened fist at d name of Sam * he was in a fix how to revail d truth in front of Dadima * he knew d bitter truth will hurt her more and he was tongue tight.

Daima: Maan hum kuch puch rahe hei , jawab do baat kya hei ? peechle kuch dino se tumhara behavior bhi change ho gaya hei ,, baat kya hei ? Is something wrong with u and Sameera ?

Maan hardly: ji Dadima .

Dadima: why? Maan agar humari jidd ki wajah se kuch prob hei to hum Sameera se baat ker saktey hei , hum aap dono ki life mei koi interfere nahi karenge , aap dono jaisa chahe apni life jee saktey hei * hum jantey hei aaj kal ki generation ko humari thinking aur morals pasand nahi aayenge aur aap ko bhi nahi * aap free hei apni life apne tareeke se jeene ke liye.

Maan held Dadima hands in his and sat down on floor near her feet * he kissed her hands with teary eyes and some drops fell down on Dadima's hands * she became worried seeing him like that * she never saw him like this weak and defeated .

Dadima: Maan, beta kya baat hei hume kaho , aapko esse dekhker hume chinta ho rahi hei .

Maan: Dadima , i'm sorry , i'm sorry , i'm not a good son , i'm bad ,very bad not even a good humanbeing * i'm a liar , a sinner * I hurt u , Dad and Mom * I was so selfhish that I forgot my family values and morals * Dadima i'm a sinner, I hurt u , he spoke in a cracky voice.

Dadima was stunned and worried * she felt that there must be something very big which was eating him * Dadima composed herself and caressed his head to console him.
