Part 93

It was passed few hours when Geet suddenly felt lack of comfort around her. In sleep she was not sure what took place but she was restless. Something was missed. But what! She had no idea. In semi-consciousness she tried to find out. The soothing smell was lost. She turned to another side. Unknowingly she moved hand to the side, but the thing her mind wanted to touch was gone. She blinked eyes for a while, tried to see in pretty darkness. Maan was not there, now she remembered what was loosing in circumstance. "Where is Maan?" She called his name softly.

She thought he must be in washroom and closed eyes in relax. She smiled, thinking how this day had turned into the most wonderful part of her life where she was sharing the room with him, "My husband" she whispered and hid face in pillow blushing.

Her wait got over when after several minutes also Maan was not back; she stood up and knocked on washroom door. It was opened already and Maan was not inside. She watched around to see if he was sleeping on couch but she was the only person there. Worry started embracing her. She looked for his things. Everything was on place. "Where is he?" she asked herself and didn't get any answer back. Her heartbeat rose with every passing second.

Suddenly she noticed, little light-rays were peeing through closed door at the corner in room which she had been assuming the room next door yet. She walked toward that and found, this time door was not locked. With the slightest hope to find Maan there, she pushed the door aside. Inside, there was not much light and she could see a male figure at the left, near an opened window where Moon light was enlightening his face.

"Maan!"

Geet called out the name and run to him gathering entire left patience in body. She stopped near and pulled his arm and breathed hard. "What are you doing here? Do you have any idea how much I was scared not finding you in room!!"

Maan stared her for a second. Indeed, worry was ruling over her expression and he noticed her breathing was stumbling. He wondered how can she worry this much for him even living in a same small place and his missing for only few minutes could make her much restless. He loved her restlessness. He pulled her near in a jerk grabbing her waist, brought her face just a half inch away so that could get shower in her warm breathes.

Geet startled with this sudden move. She read his both eyes and found words were alien. She couldn't understand those meaning what his eyes were demonstrating but she had forgotten every fear just with a touch of him. She was much relaxed now being caged in his arms than to wandering freely in entire room. She placed hands on his shoulder being easy.

"Why were you so worried Geet?" Maan whispered caressing tiny lines of worry on her forehead. He curled finger in her dangling strands and softly pulled closer "Don't you behave little weird?"

Though he again had teased but Geet found his face was serious. And above of all she couldn't understand meaning what did just he say. And this mixed feeling made her angry. Maan smirked reading her confusion. He grabbed her hair at back and drew her in. He whispered. "When I want to stay near you, you was scared.. Right?" he stopped for a second, let silence rule over in environment and their heartbeats were only sound left between them. Maan lips brushed over her cheek while he spoke further. "Now,, when I am trying to stay away from you, why are you again have same fear Geet?" He moved face little back from her.

She herself didn't know what should have the answer; moreover she didn't want to respond in words. She remained silent, let her mind loose in his husky voice. She closed eyes and smiled slightly, surrendering herself in his arms.

"Why are you smiling?" Maan wanted to have words from her lips. Her silence bothered him. "Tell Geet, I want to hear from you".

Geet knew he had threat in voice but instead her smile widen. Perhaps, this was the only method she had found to annoy him. Maan stared at her smile. He knew she was hiding her emotions inside those shut eyes and her smile was answering his question. Smile crept on his lips also.

"I'm warning you Geet, if you didn't reply.. I will.."

"You'll what.. " finally she spoke, still concealing her anticipation behind closed eyes.

"I'll.." Maan bent closer, over her mouth. Geet felt his intimacy was increasing, and she smiled wider in respond. Maan captured her lips shadowing her over face. He took the step slower first but at the end his the kiss became passionate.

The Moon peeping through the window was only witness of their closeness. After much time they parted. Geet hugged him pushing face against his heart. She was sleepy.

"Why didn't you tell there was also another attached-room here?" She spoke softly wrapping arms around his waist. "You are very bad, you know?" she was sounding very slow due to dizziness. Maan lifted her in arms and brought to bed and made her lay down. Geet stared him, seemed waiting for his decision. Whether he would sleep next to her or would leave. Maan moved back. Her face fell. She couldn't show her wish, to have him near.

Maan moved ahead and walked to other side and he laid down her to next. Her heart jumped highest and lowest in happiness and her eyes shone. Maan bent over her face and kissed on her head. "Good night Geet"

"Good night" She wished back smiling. She was happy but her happiness didn't lasted long when found him getting off from bed. He was leaving the room. She pouted in anger. Maan turned back to see her but she turned another side and hid face under blanket. Maan shook head. He smiled and left to another room which was attached to hers.

\Next day, Maan got call from RS. He had been informed that the meeting they had fixed, was postponed. Instead RS invited him in a party which was specially organized for this new ownership. Though Maan didn't like this idea. He wanted to have talk with him in private but RS insisted them to come. Maan had to agree. He informed Geet about this party and she became restless with the thought to be seen in high society gathering. After his much consolation finally she was ready for this first experience of her life. In fact she was excited without knowledge that, what, was to come ahead.

Precap : "Keep your hand away from her you bas***d!!!'' Maan turned red in anger in party.
