I Hate You Means I Love You..

Part 9
Maan and Geet in Handa Mansion,

The car stopped before the Handa Mansion and Geet and Maan got down and Maan paid the cab and he went away, Geet was looking at the Mansion and it looked more scary than the dark forest itself, now she felt like returning to the forest and being alone would be safe, Maan saw her standing and looking at the Mansion, "What happened?" Maan asked and Geet turned towards him and her eyes was filled with fear,

"Come on," Maan said, "I will come with you," Maan said and his presence near her somehow made her feel better, yet it also scared her, Geet didn't say anything but she started walking and Maan followed her, her fear was so very visible in her steps, "Dhar ji, no use in waiting, I think she is," Breej was yelling up, when Geet stepped in, "Geet," Geet's Mom screamed as she saw Geet entering, and stood up to walking towards her,

But stood as she saw Dhar ji anger filled eyes, Geet slowly went in and stood before the crowd, and Maan walked behind her and everyone was shocked as they didn't expect Maan to come with her, Dhar ji saw Maan, who was so calm with no tension, and Maan saw everyone gathered around and thought that they must have worried about Geet and so they are tensed, Maan looked at Breej who was walking to and fro with tension,

"What the hell is this all, Geet," Geet's dad spoke up and Geet looked at him puzzled, "O, o," Geet trembled, Geet uncle saw Maan and went toward him, "Maan, we trusted you, we treated you with respect and this is how you behave with us," He asked and Maan looked at him puzzled, "What the hell is he talking about?" Maan thought confused, "What's wrong with him, we didn't know to keep our girl under control, then what the use of yelling at him," Breej spoke up,

"Geet, how dare you did such a thing, you went away with an guy all alone, what the hell were you thinking, even if he had called you, why didn't you refuse, don't you know this would spoil your bloody future," Breej yell as he went and raised his hand against Geet, "Breej," Maan voice made him stop and everyone looked at him, "Maan stay away from this, she is my sister," Breej said,

"Right, I know that she is your sister and what I don't know is what the hell you are saying to her, you think she went with me to Amritsar, why the hell do you think I will go with an brain less girl like her" Maan yelled up and everyone looked at him puzzled and shocked, Maan then turned to Dhar ji, "Ji, I may be from Delhi, yet I knew how to behave, what the hell do you think about me, why in the world I would take this crazy one there with me, I can't believe that you are suspecting me" Maan yelled,

"Look, I saw her in Amritsar wandering lost in the roads, and so I bought her here, as I knew she is your family" Maan said, "if you don't believe me, just ask your girl even," Maan said and Everyone turned to Geet, "Yes, he didn't take me there, I went by myself and I was lost and so he bought me home," Geet said slowly, "See, all I was trying to is help and you are blame me, how could you get to an conclusion without even asking me once, I have no interest in your crazy girl, even, I was trying to keep her away from me, but god don't know why she is showing up, if you still have doubts then lock her up and keep her away from me" Maan poured feeling angered,

"Sorry Maan, this was an huge mistake, actually Breej's friend had seen you both in the Amritsar and so we thought that you both went together, mistake was ours, sorry," Dhar ji said slowly, and Maan looked away and Took an deep breathe controlling his anger, "It's ok, you are elder to me in both age and experience, and it was disappointing to see an person like you taking some blind decision, Anyways, my work is done, so I am leaving," Maan said and Dhar ji nodded and Maan went away having a final glance on Geet,

"Thank god, from what Maan ji was speaking, it looks like Geet didn't say anything to him neither about Balveer nor about the land, and it was all an accident, and from what Maan ji was speaking looks like he hates her, good for me, let them be like this," Breej thought, and he turned around, "Everything is because of this Geet, now we had hurt an good guy's heart, why in the world did you go to Amritsar, why," Breej yelled,

"oh Dhar ji, I went to meet my friend, I knew you won't leave me if I asked so only," Geet said slowly shivering, and crying "Is that so important to meet your friend, lying to us all, how dare you," Breej went and slapped her hard on Geet's face, "Breej," Everyone called up, "No, until now, you all were standing by her and that's why, that's why she got the guts to do such an big thing, so don't stop me now," Breej yelled,

And Geet looked at him scared, and her tears poured down, Breej slapped her again hard and Geet fell on the floor, "you made us all feel ashamed and from the morning you made us all tensed and worried, you deserve a punishment," Breej said and pulled Geet up and dragged her and went towards her room and throw her in and locked her in, "Everyone listen, no one's opening this door or give anything to her to eat or drink until I say, let her fast for two days and then she will know how to behave,"

Breej said this and locked the door and went away, Geet was crying high and was feeling trapped, she didn't feel of being locked up or being without food, but her worry was how she will find the buyer, and how she will go to Balveer's land, Geet was hoping that everything will be ok, by the morning, but it didn't, the morning sun raised up and Geet freshened up, and was waiting for someone to unlock the door, but no one did,

Breej was so stubborn and warned everyone not to open the door and he had the keys too, so no one else could open it and Dhar ji too thought Breej was right, his pampering and support had spoiled Geet, he thought and what she did yesterday was too wrong and so Dhar ji too thought she deserves the punishment, Geet's Mom and Rachi were the only souls who were crying and worried about Geet,

It hit afternoon and Geet was starting to feel hungry, and she looked around the room and she only had an glass of water and so she drank it, somehow while drinking it, she remembered Maan, an unknown person, who hates her so much, yet, Geet remember Maan giving her the water bottle and asking her to drinking the only remaining water all to herself as he knew they would be getting to the town area soon and how he ordered food just for her, he was no one to her yet he understood her hunger and here her own family, knowingly kept her hungry,

"Geet, why are you thinking about him and comparing him with your family, for what you had done anyone will be angry and that guy will be even more angry as he had to take an blame" Geet thought and Maan's thought lingered in her heart, as the minutes passed, Geet was feeling so hungry, so she climbed on to the bed and hugged her pillow and slept off, it turned dark and Geet hunger was eating her and she started to cry,

As soon as Breej came home, Geet's mom rushed towards him, "Breej give the keys Breej, I think it's enough, from yesterday night she haven't had anything, you know that Geet can't bare her hunger, she will turn so weak, please Breej, show some courtesy to your sister, please," Geet's mom begged, "Courtesy on her, do you think you would have said the same if someone from Dev's family had see her yesterday with another guy alone or know that she had travelled with an stranger all alone at night, and if they had cancelled the marriage, even then will you be saying the same thing,"

"Sorry, our family is an example for all other families in this village and if our girl is like this, the what advice will I give to the other, so no, let her be like this even, only pain will make her understand, how big the mistake was," Breej said coldly, "Atleast let me give her some water to drink, please," Her mom pleaded but Breej went away without a word to his room, "Breej," Geet mom called up and her tears rolled down and she sat near the pillar and cried out, "My poor Geet," she cried and Rachi went and held her,

Geet was crying so much, half because of her hungry, half because of the families anger on her and half because of Veera, she felt that she was failing, but she determined in her mind, she promised herself, even if they kill her, she would help Veera, she was her best friend and had a similar life to Geet, even worse than Geet, she wanted her future to be good, even if it costs her future, but still Geet was weeping up so much, because he can't bear the hunger and she feared whether tomorrow atleast they will feed her and let her free or will this be continued, she was scared and was crying hugging her pillow,

The night went on, Geet slept of crying and so as her mother and Rachi, Dhar ji come out of his room in the morning and saw Geet's mom leaning on to the pillar and Rachi lying on her lap and both were still crying, "Breej," Dhar ji's voice made them stand up and Breej came out rushing, "Breej, give the keys," Dhar ji said as he saw him, "Dhar ji," Breej began, "Breej, enough, she had enough," Dhar ji yelled and Breej silently went and took and gave him the keys, and Dhar ji gave it to Geet's mother,

Geet's mom and Rachi rushed to Geet's room and opened her door, as they entered they saw Geet lying on the bed still, "Geet" Geet's mom held her face, and her eyes widened up and she started to scream, "Geet, Baba ji," Her mom screamed and everyone ran towards the room, "she is burning," Geet's mom screamed, Geet slightly moaned, "Breej call Ratan ji," Dhar ji said seeing Geet's condition and Breej rushed out, "Geet, open your eyes, please," Geet's Mom pleaded,

After a few minutes Ratan ji came in and sat near Geet and held her hands and touched her forehead, "she is having high fever and," she examined her eyes, "and she seems so weak, don't worry I will give some medicines, give her that, she will be fine and make her rest," she said and stood up, "Dhar ji, I will take Breej with me and will send some medicine with him," she said and went away followed by Breej,

Later, Geet's mom made Geet to have some milk and gave the medicine and made her rest, the medicine worked well, Geet was feeling much better in the afternoon, but still she was weak, and she wasn't allowed to eat regular food as she was having fever and so she had only porridge, Geet hated it, and that day went in bed for Geet, at night Rachi came in with some milk and medicine, "How are you now di," She asked worried, "same way I was feeling a few minutes ago, when you asked, Rachi, stop worrying, I am so alright,"

"Geet di, I was so scared," Rachi said tears raising up, "Rachi please," Geet said and hugged her, "I am not worried or didn't feel for being locked up or for the fever, but for Veera," Geet said and Rachi pulled from her and looked at Geet's face, "Geet di, enough, look, I love Veera di so much, but not more than you, after all that happened, I don't want you to think about Veera di, or else I am telling everything to mom," Rachi said, "Rachi," Geet tried to speak,

"No di, no, I don't want to hear anything," Rachi said and Geet nodded, knowing how scared Rachi was, and they both closed the topic and slept of, Geet felt like she was left alone, now her sister too will not help her, but someone would, the buyer, the only guy who have the answers, she thought and she decided somehow to find him tomorrow, she already lost two days and she can't lose any more days, "Baba ji, be with me," Geet said and slept off

The next day, Geet felt much better but not totally fine, she was still having some trace of the fever in her body and she was damn weak, but she can't let this stop her, she went and had a bath and freshened herself and walked out, "Geet, come on, how are you feeling now," Dhar ji asked slowly, and Geet smiled a bit, "Look Geet, we are not happy with what happened, now I guess you will behave properly," Dhar ji said and Geet nodded, "you still look tired, so go and rest today too,"

Geet nodded at Dhar ji and walked towards her room, and Geet mom went and gave her the porridge and the medicines, Geet hated both of it and so kept it as such, Geet then waited for an hour, until her house turned busy and Breej goes out, and once she saw them all busy, Geet prayed and climbed down her balcony and went to the back yard and went away in to the village, Geet was feeling weak even to walk, atleast she knew Balveer's land location and so walked slowly towards it

Geet went there trembling herself and found the land and she saw some men working on the field and what caught her eyes was a big name boards, "Maan Singh Khurana," and she stood there staring at it,

All worried abt Geet! Finally she is let out! Rachi n Geet talk! Geet is so brave! Despite wt happened she is adamant n wil help Veera! She is a wonderful friend! update soon
