"Geet what's this? Why your name is written over this paper answer me?"

Mohan was watching Maan and Geet and his expression was getting grievous by delaying in getting informed the reason. Jagan took paper from his hand and read and he became equally surprised.

"Geet beta, tell us why this papers are on your name. Don't feel fear beta" He spoke gently. Though somewhere he knew the reason and when his eyes met with Maan, his doubt got cleared that Maan had found this solution to follow upon his discussion with him. He was delighted that Maan did it but still wondering, as to why?

"Baba um.. Maan when knew that you thought he wants to take your and Chachu job..."

"And so he transferred everything on your name. So that I wouldn't be needing to get tensed regard my job?" Mohan completed the line. He was genuinely shocked.

"He did it because I was worried for my job?" Mohan couldn't believe. He watched Maan who was stood silent in all this episode but had not gloom on expression instead, his face was glowing. He had lost his property still he was satisfied. "But this couldn't be his last property that he should have felt upset. I know this company was not worthy for his status and so transferring it on Geet name suppose not be any big matter for him when I know, he can buy more eligible brands with one stroke of his name on the paper" another side of his brain defended the favorable aspects he was thinking for Maan.

"But as far I know, he's come here against his family will and so, this step can be as worthy as for me to accept this fact that he literally gave Geet authority to run his company, where Khurana name.., his family name is attached. But still I need to know what truth hidden behind this step"

"You didn't need to do this. If you had thought that I cannot take care of his family without anyone's help, then you're utterly wrong son. My daughter can melt by this action of yours but her father will not. I know how to deal with my family issues even without having any job in hand. I am much capable of doing things what can be seemed looking in me and if you thought by doing this you can show your highness than you're wrong"

"Baba he didn't.." surprised Geet tried to interrupt but Maan touched her shoulder. His gesture stopped her continuing further and she looked him sideways. Maan blinked eyes once and smiled. He walked passed Geet and reached to Mohan and spoke politely.

"I'm sorry dad. If my action has hurt you but trust me, I never intended it. I didn't took this step because I wanted to show you downcast dad, but I wanted you to feel secure for what you were fearing. Nothing else I'd intended. When I'd bought this company this was my last hope to survive in India. Survive in this unknown, strange country where I never been before, after my father departure. This company was my father's dream. I wanted to reestablish it but when I came to know that my decision can take off your peace, couldn't stop myself to do this. I know, you don't think me anyway near your life but for me, Geet is everything" He paused. His eyes met with Mohan and got immobile with him. "My life, my dream and last hope of be alive is she only dad and for her I can do anything. But cannot make you feel down dad because, for her, you keep the place above from everyone and everything, above than me even. She respects and loves you more than me and same place she occupies in my life. Please, dad, if you want, can punish me but don't mistrust her"

Mohan studied Maan eyes. Every spoken words from his mouth had an uncontrolled simulation on his heart that Mohan couldn't help but to smile mentally in pride and slight effect was visible on his lips as well.

"I know, she can't defraud me"

Mohan said. He looked Geet who was timidly watching this occurrence and was hoping to go this scene finish with happy ending. Maan words had aroused her heart to melt and bring tears out from eyes but in her inhabitation she even forgot to cry and tears dried on the bank of her eyes.

"And not you can Maan" Mohan smiled.

Mohan last said line washed the heaviness of environment like rain clears the severity of clouds and after, everything became kingdom of acclamation. Suddenly dried tears stirred alive and it started sliding down from Geet eyes. Jagan was so delighted and he touched Geet head and blessed her, congratulated on her win.

Maan was unable to understand how to expose his happiness. He'd never did this before. Indeed he had practiced this moment several times in his dreams but never could have felt the touch of tickle which he was experiencing right now. How should express his happiness. He had never been so happy ever before in lifetime and so found incapable to demonstrate it. With Geet in alone he had hugged her "should I do same with dad?" he thought. He raising his arms little in excitement but then moved back. It was new. He was not used to hugging any man of honor. His grandfather had never given him this chance. Maan was thrilled and irrational. Finally with last option he decided to touch his feet. He tilt down when Mohan pulled him in a hug.

"Don't' need son. Your place is here"

Maan's eyes wanted to cry but his heart refrained. After all he was a grownup man, not an eight year old boy but he felt like living that time again in Mohan's embrace. It was the same feel he had been experienced in his father's lap in childhood. Maan tightened the hug and rested face on his strong shoulder like a little child had done when he was scared by villager's wrath and closed eyes to forget everything.

A naughty drop sneaked out from his eyes but a soft hand wiped it. Maan opened his eyes and saw Geet was watching him and she was smiling.
