Annie arrived with GD and Pam * as per plan she didn't say anything about Dev and Meera * it was Dadima's department to handle them .
At night when all were taking dinner Dadima informed GD that after 2days on Fri we have Dev and meera's engagement and then on Sunday marriage.
GD: marriage !!! so sudden , why?
Dadima: not sudden , we have planed that early coz after that i wanted to go with u for US tour and spend some time there .
GD and Pam gulp hard , SD was planning to come with them * they lost their tongue and gave a fake smiled * they r not that much respectable there like Dadima * GD just show - off that they r very hi-fi and high headed * in real Pam is 2 times divorcee , her elder bro was in a live-in-relationship after his divorce and he had a kid with his 1st firangan wife. GD's son and DIL's fight is a daily soap for d family. Now they were in a fix and forgot to react on Dev's marriage.
GD: yes, sure , u r welcome di , but it's very cold there and it would be tough for u to adjust there.
Dadima: O come on Gayatri , if u could manage then what's wrong with me?
Chatur Dadi spoiled all d charm of GD and Pam for marriage . All were enjoying Dadima's trick .
Geet poured Ghee on fire saying: yes Dadima it's great idea and when u would decide to come back , informed me before a week , I'll plan a Europe Tour and join u then we'll enjoy d vacations.
Both d ladies lost their colour and forgot words * Geet and Maan were enjoying their plight giving each other a naughty smile and Pam was cursing Geet under her breath giving a fake smile. Now their mouths were shut .
The engagement day arrived and all were very busy * it was afternoon when Maan came from FH to get ready for d function * he opened his wardrobe and take out a pack , placed a jewellery box in that and came to Geet's room , but she was not there * he wrote a note for her , kept that near d pack on bed and went out . YSK told him to come back early to look after d arrangements.
Geet was with Dadima and then with Annie to help them . Geet was still in her casuals and she choose Dadima's lahanga to wear for d function * Dadima was so excited to see her darling Geet in her fav lahanga.

Geet didn't go in her room and she dressed up in Dadima's room because her dress and jewellery given by Dadi were there * she didn't see what Maan kept for her.
GD and Pam wore traditional this time . GD saree and Pam a stylish lahang with sexy backless choli which she purchased from Raj. Tour . Annie too wore a bful half saree lahanga . All d gorgeous ladies entered in d venue with dev . Maan's heart sank when he saw Geet in diff outfit though she was looking very beautiful and he skipped many beats but he wanted to see her in that dress which he selected for her.
Guests were arrived * Meera and her parents were already there with their close relatives * All guests were gathered near that place where a Pandit was chanting mantras to start d ceremony . Geet was with Dadima surrounded with ladies * Maan's eyes were following her * Dev and Meera came close * both d families were gathered near them and Annie brought d rings beautifully placed middle of rose petals in a silver plate * Dev and meera exchanged d rings and all showered flowers petals on them and blessed them * though Geet was very happy for them but she felt a void in her heart and then her eyes met with Maan who was looking at her * she averted her gaze at once which pricked Maan . After that she didn't look at him . All d peoples got busy with talking to each other and having eatables * orchestra and DJ were playing peppy songs , children and youngsters( meera and Annie's college friends) were enjoying d music. The party was on peak , the guests were selective but d arrangement was classy. Geet's dad Mahinder was also there and he was with YSK where gents were enjoying hard drinks and discussing politics and business .
Ladies were busy in appreciating and commenting on others looks , all were feeling envoy looking Geet * she was d centre of attraction for all . Pam's heart was burning hell when she heard Geet's praise even she witnessed Maan's drooling eyes on Geet * it was going hard for her to digest d rejection , she was taking hard drink today and that was fuelling d fire of her jealousy .
Dinner was announced and waiters were serving hot soups to guests . Geet was with meera and her family , Annie with her friends , Dadima was with her known families . Pam took a hot bowl of soup from a passing by waiter and she went near Meera to meet her and stood next to Geet , she pretended that she was having that soup * she started showing her antics and superiority, Dev, meera and Geet were smiling on her show-off and all of a sudden her hot soup bowl fell on Geet's hand ... aauuuch ... Aahh. All were numb for a sec , Geet stepped back a lil and Pam started her sorry chanting .
Pam: OH!! I'm very sorry Geet , i don't know how it slipped from d plate, i'm very sorry dear.
Dev and meera were staring at Geet , her dress was a mess now .
Dev: OMG!! Guddu, u r a mess now , go and wash it in d washroom.
Geet was in pain , she was standing with closed eyes suppressing her pain * d hot and thick soup burnt her skin . She didn't have anything to change here * few seconds passed and she opened her teary eyes * all soup was on her hand , her bare belly and on lahanga over thigh. She gave a painful look to Dev and Meera , few people who were there suggested her to wash d dress.
Geet thought for a moment and called her Dad moving away from there * Pam too moved from there having a cunning smile. Mahinder picked d phone seeing Guddu's name on d screen * he was confused why she was calling him ?
Mahi: hello , bolo beta.
Geet: Dad don't say to anybody and came near d FH gate quietly, i need ur help .. jaldi please.
Mahi: haan...haan , mai abhi aaya.
He excused himself and walk towards d gate * She was standing there in half wet clothes ( she poured many glasses of cold water on her hand and belly ) * he was shocked to see her like that.
Mahi: kya hua ye ?
Geet: jaldi se ghar chalo , i have to change .
Mahi: tu bahar wait ker mai gadi leker aaya .
Within mins they were on d way to KM. Geet felt that she is getting blisters and looked at her hand and belly ... Oh !!! NO .
Geet: Dad , i need medical help , i got blisters.
Mahi: what!!! Blisters ... per kaise ?
Geet: hot soup gir gaya .
Mahinder stopped d car and checked her hand and belly : OMG!!! Beta ye to jyada hei , we need doc.
Geet who was bearing her pain now became weak and cried out : Dad bahot pain ho raha hei , please kuch karo.
Mahi was puzzled , he was consoling her and thought for a sec.
Mahi: Guddu u want to go back in d function ? Dadima and YSK knew it ?
Geet: yes , Dev and Pam knew and they thought that i m going to change . I have to inform Dadima.
Mahi: OK , mai kerta hu ,
He called Dadima and inform her that Geet's dress was spoiled with soup so he was taking her to KM for change * Geet whispered him not to say anything about her burn . Mahi started d car and called Rano , who picked d call after few rings.
Mahi: Hello , Rano .. where r u right now?
Rano: at home , why ..?
Mahi: Guddu got burns and blisters , jaldi se KM aa jao meds ke sath , i'm giving u address ... jaldi se.
Rano: OMG!! Haan mai aa rahi hu .
After 40 min they were in KM , Geet ran towards fridge , took chilled water and poured that on her burned skin , she was yelping in pain . Nakul was shocked .
Nakul : CM , ye kaise hua? Aapko to bahot jal gaya hei . mai doc ko bulata hu.
Mahi: nahi Nakul , rahane to Doc aa rahi hei , iski aunty.
Rano came there with her bag and meds * Geet recognised her < Rano hugged her lovingly and consoled her * she gave her painkiller shot and checked her burns on her hand and belly * she started her work , cut d blisters very carefully , cleaned them , applied d med and bandaged her lower arm * then she dressed her belly . Geet felt burn on her thigh also and she whispered to Rano about that .
Rano: mere bacche , itna kaise jal gai? Where is ur room?
Geet and Rano came in her room and checked her * she dressed her and gave her med to eat * she gave some more meds and painkiller tab for bed time if she felt more pain and a shot to avoid infection . Rano came down advised her to change.
