Yeh..this seems to be the easiest option of all without any additional software.

Yes..but there is an easiest way given by daredevilisback, pls check page 2 of this post.

In case that option does not work, you can try Chrome option.

For Chrome - Similar to the add-on in case of Firefox, there is something called as Extension in Chrome. You can click on Chrome Menu (the icon on the right side of address bar) >> Settings >> Extensions >> Get more Extensions and then search for video downloader or you tube downloader.

You will find some video downloader extensions there, which can be installed. But I have not used these, so do not know how good these extensions are.

Else, you can check with FireFox way (It is free browser which can be installed on PC).
