Part 1

Initially Geet's face had turned pale but quickly she composed herself. Shikha saw this change in her friend and asked, "What has happened to you? While the other girls have started blushing or beautifying themselves, your face almost turned white". Geet nodded but refrained from answer her query.

How could she say anything to her. That man who rejected her, went away leaving her shattered. The man for whom she had shut herself away from the world for God knows how many months. After counseling and with her mother's undying love and support she had started leading a normal life. The person for whom she left her mother and her home, so that she could forget those painful memories.

But destiny had planned something else for this girl. That is why almost after 6 years, that man was standing few benches away from her. Suddenly Shikha's nudge broke Geet's reverie. Shikha whispered teasingly, "From now only you are daydreaming?" and chuckled. Geet remained silent and her friend immediately understood that there was something more to this silence.

The man smiled at the students and the said, "Welcome everyone. I am Maan Singh Khurana and I am also the head of the English dept." There was a sudden whispering and all looked excited except Geet, who looked tensed. She avoided looking at him and kept her eyes fixed on the desk. "Ok ok. Please calm down as I need to tell you certain things". said Maan to the students. The room was immediately quite. He went on speaking while Geet was not at all listening to him. Her eyes were becoming moist but she tried to hold back the tears. Maan noticed her but said nothing. He thought he recognized her but was not sure whether his guess was correct.He did not see her almost for 6years and people's face do change a little within this time span.

As the class was dismissed Geet rushed out of the room leaving Shikha stunned. Before she could follow her, Maan called her, "Excuse me. Why did that lady rush away like that?" Shikha had no answer to this question she fumbled and then said, "Umm..sir even I do not know the reason". Maan asked cautiously, "What was her name?" Shikha answered, "Geet.Geet Handa". Saying this Shikha went out leaving Maan thoughtful, then he said to himself, "No wonder she was behaving like that".

poor geet..she was badly hurt..now she have to face her past...what maan😡 have done to geet...cant wait for next part..pls cont soon..
