Anandi & Madhubala to Perform in Diwali Dussehra Mela

The Balika Vadhu fame Vanshika Gaud and Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon's Drashti Dhami are likely to perform in Diwali Dussehra fair, annual cultural programme organised by Udaipur Municipal Corporation (UMC). This 7 days event would be bejeweled by other celebrities in special performances. Today, in UMC a meeting of Cultural Committee was organised to finalize Star Cast for the upcoming Diwali Dussehra Mela.

Alike every year 4 days are dedicated for these special performances, whereas one night would be for Kavi Samelan' and two days spared for local artists.

According to Rajkumari Menaria, Member, Cultural Committee, names of the celebrities would be officially declared in a meeting to be organised on 8th October.

The fair would be of 10 days while seven days being allotted for cultural events including celebrity nights and local talents added Rajkumari Menaria. Rajkumari further added that budget of the fair is increased by more than 15% when compared to that of Rs. 45 lac in previous one,

UMC is incurring around Rs. 60 lac in this annual fair. According to Himmat Singh Barath, Commissioner, UMC, auction for installing various stalls was also organised earlier this noon. In which UMC has received an income of Rs. 36,50,000 against all the four spaces auctioned. One part is meant for the food court while other three will be installed with other products.

The Fair will be held from Oct 25^th - Nov 3^rd. Several cultural programs will be conducted every evening as a part of the fair

Drashti Still Gets Fan Mail For Jhalak..

Drashti Dhami is happy with the response and love she is getting from her fans post her win on "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa6.

"Still people are going mad. I get a lot of messages (even now),"Drashti said here Monday on the set of "Madhubala- Ek Ishq Ek Junoon".

But more than that she is happy to get proper sleep.

During her stint on dance reality show "Jhalak...", the actress was also shooting for her daily soap "Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon" and working on two shows took a toll on her sleep.

Both the shows were aired on Colors channel.

"Finally, I am getting some time for myself. Finally, I am sleeping for eight to nine hours everyday. It feels good," she added.

In the sixth season of "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa", Drashti participated with choreographer Salman Yusuff Khan as her dancing partner.

Meanwhile, she is busy with her show "Madhubala", where she plays superstar R.K.'s wife.
