In haze of evening, Geet saw his faded figure was going away from her. She felt like the reason of her life, the only aim of her living was going away. She was yet sitting in same position unable to think rationally, looking at him wondering, "Did she hear him right?' , She was confounded completely. She wanted to stand up and run behind him, stop him and swirl him and ask "Are you my Maan!!!'' but she did nothing. It was like her body suffered from paralysis for a few minutes and when she got recovered, he had gone.

She stirred up when her eyes lost his track. She came back in her present where she was alone there, where one guy had called himself Maan' the name she used to do worship, had been living for, but he had disappeared. She stood up, travelled eyes in all directions but could not get his sign. The fear of losing him again made home in her already shaken heart. She covered mouth with hands, perhaps stopping those whimper which wanted to come out. She clutched her heart making some failed effort to pat it, make it calm. She tried hard not to be frightened with any reason but indeed, she was.

She runs in direction where had seen him going, asked to moving people if they would have seen a tall handsome guy wearing brownish-red shirt and blue jeans looking a little like foreigner, if anyone seen him but answer got No!

Her heart sank in fear but she had not lost hope yet. She runs in unknown direction for finding any clue of him. She was running like insane leaving crowd laughing over her or some were amazed. She lost the track of roads, reached area which was deserted yet did not stop. She had to find him at any cost!

She didn't realize that falling night was chasing her with same speed. She was running in dark calling his name. Her leg hit a brick lying on road and she fell down hurting her knees.

"Maan.'' she sobbed, "I know it was you, I could feel you''"but there was no one to hear her.

An old man was passing from there, he saw a girl falling on road all alone, and he rushed to help her,

"What happened Beta' he tried to pull her arm but Geet nudged him, she had been angry in pain. She shouted over him to leave her alone. She again felt someone was trying to drag her up. Instantly standing up she got ready to yell on him but her eyes widen relatively,

"What are you doing here?'',

The source of stern voice glared Geet with his red eyes, where she could see uttermost authority to yell on her for doing such unsafe and lunatic stunt but rather getting effected by his anger, Geet smiled in full zeal. Her dying soul started dancing in bliss and singing folksong of celebration.

"Are you hurt?'', He asked in concern. Geet nodded, with cute pout on her lips and rolling tears down from eyes which he mistook, she was indeed in pain. How could she explain to anyone that these tears were a way to show how much happy she was, gaining her Maan' before her eyes once again.

"Let's go from here' Maan held her hand and started leading to his car like a life leads soul to its body. Limping Geet held his hold with her both hands, the touch roused Maan with pleasure but he did not show outside. She was following him staring him with clouded eyes, totally forgetting she was injured. Her legs were still paining, but she was not feeling any ache in them. Car was parked at only few steps far. He opened door and gave her space to sit comfortably inside. He himself settled behind wheel next to her. He geared up to start engine when his eyes fell over her knees which were red over her dress due to bleed, his anger raised up on sky.

"Can I ask what the hell you were thinking while running on road like this haan!!'', Instead of starting car he blasted on her. She just smiled over his shouts, staring his over-expressive face.

"I'm asking you something, where the hell your damn attention is!!!'',

But she grinned like a fool. Her eyes had stopped blinking though. Her stupid acts were taking a toll over his anger. He wanted his answer while she was only giving him reason to yell upon her more and more, which he did not want to but she liked it.

"Stop it Angel!!!''

He shouted in fury, and then silence took over all around all of sudden. She stopped her giggle and he stopped showering his authority on her altogether. Both faces lost the charm they had had few seconds back, and both went frozen. Maan pressed eyes tight to manage the damage he had done,

"I'm sorry' He said. He couldn't believe how did he use her wife name for someone else, "I should die in shame', he was in remorse. Whereas Geet, her condition could not have described in words, just a violently crushed heart could be picturized as condition of her heart which she was trying hard not to show, those piece of her broken heart which were ready to bleed.

"I'm sorry I yelled on you'', Maan somehow managed to utter few words of apologies but for Geet, it was going defiant to manage. For few minutes silence ruled over them then Maan stepped ahead talking,

"I'm sorry by mistake i called--"

"Who is Angel' Geet asked still trying to convince her heart if there was some hope was left.

"She's my wife'

He heard closing sound of door, he turned head to look, her running away. He was shocked; he got down outrightly and called her, but then realized, he didn't know her name yet.

"Hey listen'' he chased her and very easily caught her hand and tugged near. She was crying bitterly, his heart ached in consequence but he ignored. "Why did you run away?'' he jerked her trapping her hand on her back. She was struggling hard to be freed. "Why are you crying!!''. His patience was leaving him looking her not responding properly, he shook her violently "Why the hell you're not answering me back!!!!''

Geet looked him with her red swelled eyes. She wanted to tell her entire world but her mouth had been sealed with his one word that his heart was beating for someone else. She had lost the place in his life which even hadn't been destined ever. She had understood that he had forgotten her, leave forgot she doubted even he ever knew her existence in this world. She was no one to him and so there was no use left to describe why she was not answering him back. She just wanted to go away from here, away from his arms where he was holding her.

But to Maan her silence was hurting him like anything. With every drop from her eyes he was getting pulled toward her more and more in unknown concern. Her condition was taking his patience away. He wanted to soothe her but she was not giving him any chance. He held her chin in frustration, forced her to look into his eyes, "What happened tell me!!'' he ordered. His strained face was showing agitation. Geet was pushing him back but her fragile energy was hardly giving any impact over his broad chest.

"Why do you have to cry damnit why don't you tell me!!!!''

"Leave me please.'' at last she spoke between weeps but she had awaken demon inside him so far. His grip became firmer.

"No - I'll not until you tell me what happened"' his face was a gap away from her own she could feel his raging breath falling over her, but it felt soothing although. She looked down failing in battle,

"Nothing happened me. I want to go home. My Baba will be waiting for me' she said little calmly.

"Alright"but I will drop you there, come and sit inside'', he dragged her to car. Geet legs were paining along with her heart even entire body was on ache but she was being dragged by him strongly. The hold she had firmed little minutes before now felt heavy. Her steps were slow and lengthy. Her soul was uproarious but she was silently following him, letting him to lead her. Perhaps this little moment she could live with him, she decides to continue it.

Drive was silent. Maan was staring her every now and then. He wondered what took over her suddenly she started behaving strange. He had seen her happy and smiling when had found her on road then what happened instant. Geet was looking out. Her gaze was passing through darkness perhaps wanted to find something in it. May be a ray of light but got nothing leaving out just few more shades of grey. Tears were silently rolling down over her cheeks when Maan caught a drop on his forefinger. She stirred with this touch and looked him,

"Why you're wasting these pearls, hm',

She stared him for some times, "Years back someone had gifted me some pearls, returning him back',

Maan stared her deeply captive in her words.

Alka was walking through the broad corridor of Khurana mansion giving nervous murmur to emptiness. She was called by Yash. Her heart was thudding in tension as he never used to be interested talking with her without having any severe reason. His room had come, yet she could not have collected enough spirit to step in but she knew she had to. Keeping her wondering thoughts aside she knocked the elegant wooden door and asked permission to go in, which he did granted.

As usual she found her father in law bent down on piles of files with uttermost concentration but she knew his secret eyes were on her.

She wished a good prayer to God and spoke, "Papa you called me'

"You knew that Maan is in India and he had not forgotten the girl, Geet. Didn't you?!!'

His stern gaze fell on her.

"I think you have forgotten the promise I did to you, thirteen years back but I haven't. I can yet remember each and every words and I meant them, that time also and now as well. Seemed time has arrived at the door to fulfill my promise''

She looked him, terrified.
