After years of togetherness, there comes a day where love is not enough. There are rough edges, cracks and patches in the relationship, and by untying them, by making them be their older self, they slowly let themselves heal. The ties haven't entirely disappeared either. The pull would always be there. A moment of Something felt when you get to know her routine doesn't have you, that beat of silence is all that was needed to make me smile fully.

The cracks are healing, a person needs refugee from things that hurt them to energize themselves, be a stronger person, and I so love the way they are so close yet so far, growing as individual persons, yet not growing apart.

Hi Zarin.. glad to see u back with updates .. when I visit this thread on IF, I feel like I have actually travelled to Nainitaal... Living in that ancestral guest house with some amazingly unreservedly handsome beings ..

The previous two chapters or so feel like fillers to me .. cushioning the main scenes coming up.. but I like them .. the Perera flavour is esp tasty...resembles rather quite like the peri peri sauce ... Except in this case the tandoori chicken in question is Maan .. Peri peri's wifey's husband 😆

Such prime examples of family disloyalty is featured quite often amongst my family of friends .. friends who have no guilt in setting me up for grilling with chilli sauces; which Dev quite nicely does to Maan.
Its nice to see this almost youthful/childish banter between all ... I guess behind the depths (Gehrayiyan 🥱 ) and the complexities of their relation lies a primitive instinct of affection in their personality,connecting them all in ways they may not even consciously acknowledge.

No matter how many rounds of fireballs are exchanged between Geet's hubby and wifey. Heer knows Maan is the only One for her best friend and vice versa..
