its sooo beautiful and sad part too !! just had tears thinking about those innocent lives bonded with each other !! seperating them is a practical and somewhere mature decision on the part of his grandfather...but, pushing her away from maan's life and banishing even her name...without trying to know maan's heart seems to be little harsh !! still, he didnot know maan's bonding with her nor his mental condition after he lost his father...all he wanted was a bright hassle free life for his grandson !! but, alka on other hand understood her son well...she actually accepted maaneet's relation...for her ...her son's happiness and smile was more important...but, was the decision to keep maan iving in geet's memories...is good or prove difficult for him...only time will tell !! but loved the sacred cloth scene and him giving name to geet as angle !! beautiful !! here mohinder made geet forget maan...it was more a natural process...but seems like panna is reminding her...waiting...eagerly...!!
