CHAPTER 3-

Maans room where he has a conversation with
Bua. She keeps talking about how she feels bad for Maan, "also he as has
more right on the MD position than Uday, and how Maan took Sultan away
from Uday and Uday took the MD position from Maan." Also, the father
never even let Uday feel that "voh is ghar ka jahil/jahis beta nahi
hai." (not sure what jahil/jahis means) Then she continues saying " you
are over reacting and till this day Bhaiji has never made a wrong
decision." Maan replies, "I am not over reacting. I cannot say that
someones wrong decision is right even if it's Dads. My destination is
something different. I want to reach a level that my own father has never
been able to reach. I will never work with Uday. If dad won't change his
decision than I will look for a new way." Then both Maan and Bua turn
around shocked and see that the father is standing in doorway.

Next scene is in the living room. Uday is sitting, looking very sad and in
deep thoughts. Geet comes and talk to him. She says. "why are you
looking sad. Today you got the biggest chance to prove yourself." Uday
replies, "There is already so much going on in this house and I don't want
to add any more burden to it. Some of the family members didn't like the
decision made by dad." Geet then says, " Whom do you not trust Uday,
your father? Or yourself?" Uday remarks back, 'that's not the thing.
Before making this decision dad should have thought about Maan. He
must have felt so bad."

They show Maans bedroom scene again. VJ asks Maan, " What were you
saying? What new way were you looking for?" To that Maan sucks up to
the father and says, "That it was a good decision the father made. I will
work side by side with Uday and we all together will take the Khurana
Corp. to a higher level." The father then smiles and says, "he is proud of
his son." Then VJ leaves. Bua then says, "what have you done? This was
the right time to object to the decision your father made." Maan smiles
and says that, "no, now was not the right time. Father would have
stopped trusting me. Also, I don't go looking for the right time. I MAKES
the right time. He will cause problems in the problem and Uday will get
the blame for it. Yes, there will be a little loss in the business.. the
buiness that I worked day and night for. But our company is doing very
well, it can take the petty losses." After says all those things he leaves and
Bua starts talking about loud. She says "Thank god someone in this
family thinks like me. I was beginning to think that I wasn't VJs real
sister." (evil woman!)

Back in the living room, Geet says, "there must be a reason father
made this decision." Uday starts walking around. Geet then continues
saying, "Trust your father and the decision he has made and stop being
upset. This MD position is a challenge for you and you have to prove
yourself." After saying that she leaves and Uday thinks to himself, "that
my biggest challenge isn't this MD position, the biggest challenge is
reuniting the family back together."

Then in Maan's room we see him having a conversation with someone on
the cell in mute.

Next scene we see a car driving out of a house driveway and then it stop
somewhere. We see a guy getting out and it's Yash. He has come to VJs
house to talk to him. He comes inside the hallway and starts screaming
out "papa papa." All the family members come out and the camera
zooms in on every ones face about thousand times. (All right guys, get
ready for an amazing scene! ? If you're into those sentimental and
emotional scenes this is for you! Great dialogues!)
VJ: I know you have left this house for a while so you probably forgot the
rule that you don't scream or talk to someone in that voice in this house.
This is Vijaypant Khuranas house. Not some press conference hall.
Yash: You are right. And I have come to talk to you about something
that can be only spoken within these 4 walls. B/c the eldest son of this
house come to talk to his father.
VJ: But you have broken relationship with this house.
Yash: I have broken relationship with this house, I have not stopped
caring about the family members though. And I have come today b/c one
of my own needed my help. Why are you pushing everyone away form
you? What is Maan lacking that you made someone else the MD? -- then
he looks at Uday and says-- I love you as much as I love Maan. But I want
to ask Papa that when it was decided that Maan was going to be the MD
then why were you called? Don't you trust Maan? Or you don't trust any of
your sons? Or you won't be having peace until you kick out the last son of
this house? -- Looks at Uday and points at the father and saysBeware
of this man!!
(oh by the way while all this is going on the Bua is standing there and
SMILING!! GRRR)
VJ: Are you done? Now get out of this houses. I have never given anyone
permission or right to speak to me this way.
Yash: You don't know to give rights.. you only know how to take away
rights. You took away the right for your sons to live their lives. You took
away the right for everyone in this house to be happy. In this family no
one has a right to say wrong is wrong.
VJ: get out of my house
Yash: --Smiles-- I knew you would say that.
Bua: Yash, this is not the way to speak to your father.
Yash: you are right Bua. No one should talk to their father this way.
Lekin voh pita hai kahan? wiping away tears-- Mr. Khurana, don't think
these tears are my weakness. These tears are for that at this age when
your sons should be your support you are kicking your support out.
VJ than asks every one to leave him alone for a while, and everyone does
just that.

In VJs bedroom. Geet brings him medicine and milk. Geet tells
him, " I have felt that since the last four years you have changed. You are
never happy always sad and upset. I know you're very strong. But when
one of our own leaves one is very sad. I know your pain." To that he tells
her it's very late and to go and sleep.

Late at night, VJ is shown going to his study and staring at the pictures on
his wall of his sons. (sad version of the title song is playing). Then all of a
sudden his conscious(who looks just like him) comes and starts talking to
him. It says, "looks like you're missing your family." Vj says, "no I am not
missing anyone." Concious, "LIES. Your rules and ego won't let you accept
it" The conscious continues taunthing saying stuff like, "you never
achieved happiness, you never told you kids you loved them, this your
biggest failure, you are ALONE. You are finished." Vj tell it to "shut up"
and it goes away then.

Next it's shown Maan in his room watching tv and Geet comes there.
She turns the TV off and tells him to sleep now or he won't be able to
come down to do Arti the next morning.

Then Geet goes to Udays room while he is reading and takes his book
away form him and shuts it. She also tell him to sleep or he'll get
glasses.

Then we see Geet laying in bed in her bedroom. She gets up walks to
the closet, opens it and takes out a shawl and puts it around herself
(including her head.) Then walks out of her bedroom and sneaks out of
the house,walking on the street outside her house.

CHAPTER-4

Geet doing the pooja at a mandir and the other a lady in a green

sari dancing all over her kitchen and cooking breakfast. Then at the
house where the lady is cooking breakfast a little girl and her father
(one of VJs sons) sit on the stairs and watch the lady. Then the little girls
gets up and goes in the kitchen and yells "Mumma"
The little girl says that I was having such a nice dream but you woke me
up so early. Then the mom says that it's our family tradition to wake up
early and do pooja. Your father did that in his house when he was
younger. The little girl then says this is fathers house.. which other
house are you talking about? Both the parents look upset and the mother changes the topic. Then the mom
sends the father to go get ready for work so he won't be late.

At the stables at the Khurana house, Uday talks to the father about
uniting the family again. Uday says things along the line of that you
have given me everything your love and trust. You never let me feel
like I am not one of your real son. But being a part of a family I have
some rights too. Like I cannot steal my brothers happiness. I just want
your name and love. I don't care who becomes the MD. All I want is for
this house to be a HOME again! VJ tries to speak but Uday cuts him off
saying that till today I never asked for anything. But I will ask for
something now our family to reunite again. He leaves VJ standing in
the stable thinking.

Geet then brings the pooja thali in VJs study. He takes blessing and
such. Geet then says I want to ask for something.. will you give it to
me? VJ says.. ask for anything. She says she wants VJ to get along with
all his sons and have them living under one roof again. She says don't
get mad at me. She said that she never questioned anyone when she
married Dev also not when he left her. Then you made me your
daughter. Can't a daughter ask for something from her dad for her
family? She says I won't keep pestering you about this. Whatever your
decision is I will accept it. (sad version of the title song plays) Geet is
about to leave when VJ stops her by saying I will try to make this wish of
yours true. Geet then smiles and runs towards the father and hugs
him. Geet then thanks him.

Exited Geet then is looking for the Buaji all around the house to tell
her the good news. She finds her out in the garden. Bua she's a happy
Geet and says "hey girl, omg you look happy? What is this magic?
What bad news do you have for me?" Geet tells her that she has news
that she will dance w/ joy. Bua taunts why India won the world cup?
Geet says papa agreed!!! He agreed that our family once again will live
together!!!! Bua says ofcourse.

In VJs studay Bua and him have a conversation. VJ says that I cannot defy
Geet. I have her my word. She is also right. This family needs to be
together again. I miss my sons a lot. One cannot fight with age as no
one can win. (he then holds Buas handew) Continues speaking Maya
do you remember when we were younger our father would say, "no ones
anger is bigger than their age." Now I understand his words. Till now I
have been a business man now I want to be a father. I want to live my
life. So on my next birthday party I will invite every and make sure they
stay here forever. Bua says what is the point of inviting them here. Do
you think they will come? Or even if they do come do you think they will
stay forever? Do you think they will forget the past? Vj says Maya let
them first come here I will handle the rest. I am not going to handle
this as a business tycoon Mr. Vijaypant Khurana. But as their father.
Bua says what if they refuse to come? Then you will be insulted. Not only
you will be insulted as a father but as Mr. Vijaypant Khurana. Bua
leaves then. Again VJ is left thinking.

Geet, Uday and Maan are shown sitting out in the garden. Uday says
OMG i can't believe father agreed to this. You are amazing. Geet says
that I am sure I wasn't the only one who talked to him about this.. one of
you did as well. Maan shakes his head and says nope it wans't me as I am
afraid of talking to him about this matter. I am sure Uday did.. anyways
it doesn't as I am really happy even if they are coming for one evening.
Geet asks what do you mean? Maan replies just cuz dad agreed doesn't
mean they will come who will make them agree? Even if they did agree
to come I doubt they will stay here. Geet says that THEY WILL COME
AND THEY WILL STAY. Because papa has promised me this and
everyone knows when papa makes a promise no one can stand in his way
till it is accomplished. Uday says that you are right and not only will
papa try but as will the rest of us.. it's the matter of happiness of our
family right Maan? Maan says Exactly once dad says something it will
happen But.. not everyone will come. I mean Dev bhai won't
come. No one knows where he is.. we don't even know if he is alive.
Geet stands up angrily and screams "MAAN." Maan then apologizes to
Geet saying that he understands her pain. But we can't turn away
from the truth. And the truth is wel all tried looking for me and if he
were alive he would have turned up somewhere. Uday then also gets up
and says "MAAN. What are you saying?" Maan says that since brother
has left she has stopped living her lifehow long will she live like that?
Also she keeps giving herself false hope that bhai will come back.
Geet goes towards Maan angrily and says he will come back for sure
she has trust in herself and in her god. And I don't need anyone to tell me
the truth. And about my life it's my life and I will live as I choose to.
Dev might not be here but his memories are and that is where my life
lies. Then Geet leaves from there. Uday just shakes his head at Maan
and leaves as well. Maan then smiles and says to himself that these people
don't know yet but "Maan is ghar ki door apne haatho mein lein na wala
hain."

Geet is then shown going to some apartment or an office building.
She rings a bell on a door of some Aditya Sameera. The door opens and
the guy looks very surprised to see Geet.. but she doesn't really look
surprised at all too see him (so she must have planned this? I think it's
Dev. who changed his name.)

CHAPTER-5

At Adityas place, Geet goes there to ask him to come home. She says remember that when I got

married you asked me what I wanted as a present? I said I will tell you one
day. Well I have come to ask for it.. I want you to come home. Adi says I
can't won't. A sad Geet leaves. (Also I think Adi and his girl Sameera
are having problems cuz he started drinking when he never used to.)

Then we see a girl at a basketball court playing ball(in a skirt.) Uday goes
and surprises her there. She turns out to be VJ's daughter Sharaya(I
think.) Uday tells her I have come to tell you that father wants you to
come home. She is surprised and says OMG what have I done now.. the
only time he asks me to come home is when I get into trouble. Uday says
nothing.. he just wants everyone to come. Shar says she will come.

Than at Yash and Tara's house. Tara is telling Yash how he should go to
the party VJ is having.. he is your father after all. Yash tells her to stop
he says he doesn't get it why does she want him to go to that mans
house where she is not accepted? Tara replies.. she remembers
everything. But you remember the part where you got hurt and felt pain.
I remember the part where I got love. Your love. You may have not
screamed from roof tops that you love me but you fulfilled that love. You
always stood by me. You do all that so I could feel how much you love
me. Now you tell me? What should I remember? Your fathers hate or your
love? He's your father.. your are his shadow. You guys can't tell someone
how much you love them you show. Yash screams at her to stop. But
Tara says fine I won't bother you about this anymore just answer my
one question. What would you do if Milli(their daughter) was mad at you
and went away? Yash replies I would die with out Millie. Tara says I got
my answer. Now you should decide weather to go or not. But think as a
father rather than a son.

Yash walks in the living room and sees Geet and Uday decorating for
the birthday party. Uday says to Geet I am going to go get Kabir. A
servant accidently runs into Maan and Maan makes a big deal out of it. He
yells at the servant and breaks a vase on the floor and tell him to get out.
Geet sees all this and yells at him. She says she has been noticing his
bad behavior and it started when Uday come back. Maan replies yes he
has snatched my dream and now a party? All this is happening b/c of
Uday. Geet then says that so yelling at innocent people and throwing
around few things will change anything? Maan says.. why not? Working
hard all those years for dad and I still didn't get anything. Sometimes I
feel as though I am the adopted one and not Uday. Geet says Uday
being adopted does more for this family than you. He has declined the
MD position for you and he was the one who started the whole idea
about bringing this family together again. From what I know your
upbringing was the same but there is such a big difference between the
two of you.

In Arjun's(VJ's friend) living room.. Arjun gets of the phone w/ VJ. Komal
(Arjun's wife) walks in and ask him whose call was it? Arjun replies that
VJ is having a birthday party and we are invited. And not just us but his
entire family is going to be there. Komal looks upset and says that what
is gong? First VJ is having a party and he hates them, then his entire
family is coming? Something is going on.

Back at VJ's house. Adi is waiting in the living room when Maan walks in
with Yash. Then Shar comes in and everyone is hugging everyone and
reminiscing about good old times. Geet comes in and has tears in her
eyes. Then we see Uday helping someone in the house. Kabir obiously
drunk has to sober up so Uday brings him coffe.. Then we see all the
sons, Shar, and Arjun sitting in the living room. Geet comes in and
announces that VJ is calling everyone in the Study. Everyone follows but
when Arjun is about to enter a servant tells him to wait outside as Vj
wants to speak to his family alone first. Arjun is shocked and he thinks to
himself that up until now I have never been not allowed to attend any
family meetings before. I must find out what they are talking about.
