The Downpour... Part 88

Geet was restless with the day event. She sat on swing and tried to divert mind with good thoughts but she was unable. She looked toward Maan room, the window was closed. She waited for some time possibly Maan would peep then became disappointed when he did not.

"He must be sleeping'' she thought. She looked her cell. With little hope she wrote an msg and sent to him and begun waiting for reply with keen heart.

After a while when she got his call, her face glowed in relief and joy, immediately she picked it up,

"Hello..''

"Nind nahi aa rahi'' Maan asked in soft tone.

She shook head in no,

"Hm.. so what you want to do?''

"Want to see you..

She said abruptly making Maan impatience to meet her. "I'm coming Geet..''

"No stop Maan!!''

Maan surprised why she stopped him.

"Maan did you forget what Dadima had said. We should not do anything which can disappoint her.

Maan understood but he was not convinced. He just wanted to go to her but she was not ready.

"Maan anyway I am very tired, after seeing you're a glimpse I would sleep I promise!!''

He stood up and went to his window, looked down she was sitting on swing, staring toward his direction only and when she saw him, she smiled in satisfaction. When her eyes got it wished and it started getting shut being heavy. She laid down on swing and kept staring him and closed down her dozy lashes and slept after sometime feeling peace.

Maan saw her sleeping, he smiled and moved back when again found her stirring restlessly in sleep, he again came and stood up on same place and she again slept having smile on lips with mingled with Maan's. He did not move from there when knew she would do same not feeling his presence. Anyway he did not want to snatch this beautiful sight from his eyes when his dream was relaxing peacefully in front of him; he smiled in pleasure, kept staring her for hours.

Suddenly he noticed the change of weather. It could rain anytime and she was shivering in cold and loud wind. He could not wait for long now, rushed to her, reached and stopped near swing. He bent down, knelt down on floor and stared her beautiful face. His finger itched to touch her but he feared what if she gets awake!

"Chehara hai jaise jheel me khilata hua kanval
Ya zindagi ke saaj pe chhedi hui gazal
Jaane bahaar tum kisi shaayar ka khwaab ho"

Lost in his desire, he raised hand and caressed her cheek softly. He removed few falling strands over her forehead and fondled her tender lips making her smile..

Maan found that small drops of rain has started he immediately lifted her in arms and started to walk inside when some drops fall on her face making her awaken. She opened eyes and saw his face and his eyes were looking her only, lovingly she could not understand for a second was it her dream? But then realized no! Her eyes widen in surprise and water drops started laughing and dancing in full zeal making them drenched completely in their bliss.

"Maan you? ...''

She whispered and found his smile only in reply; she thrilled with the charm which this rain was giving her in reflex, with the togetherness of him. She slipped arms around his neck more comfortably and smiled.

"What if Dadima gets to know''

"She will get us married sooner'' Maan answered making Geet feel blush. She gestured him to put her down when he shook head and glared with his complaining eyes.

"But Maan it's..''

"Please Geet.. '

She paused her words and let herself carried away with his wish. Maan smiled, he puts her down on her feet. Her wet face, wet entire-self was making him lose his sanity over her, over his love and desire. Geet shivered with the insight of his further move she crept back but he pulled her to him, tugged her into his body, let his skin feel her soft skin. He caressed her forehead wiping drops there and came to her lips through her plumply cheeks. She smiled in shy and turned face side. He kissed those red plumps made her shyer, kept giving feather kisses over her face. He kissed her earlobe, shoulder, neck and came below and, he was going insane. He removed her Dupatta, let it fall on ground,

"Maan...''

He closed her mouth keeping his palm over it and nodded no. he pleaded her not to stop him now he would not be able to do it. Her presence in this weather was enough to make him feel the passion he had been dreaming of after coming her in his life. But Geet knew this was not right, if she would not stop him now she could not do afterward, even she herself would not keep herself away from him.

She held his hand and kissed it and rushed inside, closed the glass door before he could catch her. Maan angered but Geet melted him with her pleading smile. He shook head teasing with his eyes and she blushed in shy.

"Good night Maan'' she whispered.

Maan caressed her face through glass. Geet was helpless she did not want to make him upset and seemed he understood. He smiled back,

"Good night Geet..''

He rested forehead on glass, Geet raised on her toes and gave peak on his head through thin glass and moved back,

"Good night .. ' she smiled, pleaded him to go.

Made grumpy face but he left with smile..

In morning,

Geet woke up little late, she walked out from room and was going toward hall when heard Maan, talking with someone in his study, may be with Arjun! She Saw Nakul was getting coffee for him, she said she would take it inside. When she reached found door was opened she stepped in but then heard something said by Maan which stopped her step on door itself. She hid behind wall and tried to hear what they were talking.

"But I think Maan you should tell it to Geet'' Arjun said,

"I know Arjun but I didn't think it is necessary, I mean it's not that important for her to know that Asha had informed police about the place so that they could arrest those guys also and she could get rid from all the worries.

"Hm.. so what have to thought about her now Maan.. she must be punished hard for her deed..''

"She will be Arjun Bhai!!!''

Both Maan and Arjun turned to the direction and found Geet, they sensed that she had already heard their talk and now not needed to hide anything from her.

"Geet you don't worry we are here to think for her..''

"I know Arjun bhai and that's why I have decided to do it myself''

"Per Geet tum karna kya chahti ho!!!'' Maan was confused.

She looked him and smiled, "Maan do you trust on me?''

"I always do Geet you know it''

She nodded.

"Ahem!!.. Maan I think I should leave now'' Arjun thought to give them privacy so he left,

"Geet, what you have thought?''

Geet passed him and went to table and opened his laptop and started typing something.

"Geet what are you doing??''

"Shh Maan let me do first..''

She finished typing and prints it out and gave Maan to see it.

"Whats it this Geet?''

"Maan since when you became Geet..'' she chuckled seeing Maan grumpy face,

"In this paper I have written that Asha was the girl behind that blank phone call. How she made those men arrested. I have also kept her photo in it and now this will make Asha see fear of her life'' She told him everything. Maan was awe looking her planning things so well.

"I didn't know that my Geet also can think smart!!'

She smiled, and said, "Geet was not smart Maan but Mrs, Geet Maan Singh Khurana definitely is!!''.. She said with proud that he could not stop himself but to admire her proudly.

"Geet...'' He pulled her in hug and she hugged him back. Later on Maan called in police and requested not to disclose anything about Geet in media or to those people.

Asha was wondering why there was no news in paper about Geet, she was turning pages restlessly when someone knocked the door gently. She straightened up and said visitor to come in and when she saw unexpected her eyes could not remember to blink it back!

"Geet!!'

She was stunned. She tried to see clearer was she sleeping yet but not, she was awoken and that amazed her.

"What are you thinking Asha!! I am here and completely alright though you had planned everything so well..''

Geet walked in casually keeping smile on her face.

"Geet??? ... ' She fumbled with words, but tried to manage her voice,

"I mean how are you Geet.. And what you are saying.. What I had planned??''

"Did you really forget Asha.. ? But how it can be possible, when your mind thinks so sharp every time against me!!. Oh I'm sorry, I mean when you had helped me, supported me in my misery, right!'

"Geet what are you saying I am not getting anything really!!''

"Really, then I have another method also to make you understand'' She threw that paper to her..

"Read it carefully yaar, I have brought something for you.''

"What's this Geet!!!'' She was shocked to see what had been written in it along with her picture.

"Oh.. so even now you didn't understand what is this right!.. don't worry, when it will be published in tomorrow's newspaper and would be telecasted on every news channels you herself would understand what have been written in it''

"Geet.. what .. I mean.. you know???''

"Yes my best friend I know everything. I know how you made fun of my miseries, how you took benefit of my friendship, made me helpless, penniless and even tried to harm my dignity!!! Asha how could you stoop so low why did you do this to me!!! What the hell I harmed you tell me!!''

Asha knew now she had no chance to escape of this, she knew that every door had been closed and so she thought to try a last card, she started crying before Geet, told why she did all this, what was the reason that made her like this, carried away against Geet.

"Your tears are fake asha, don't ever try to show them again. You not only cheated me but also cheated your friends Asha whoever they were and for this neither I would forgive you nor let them do this''

Asha looked her puzzled,

"Don't look me like a fool Asha you have only one day to escape, run from here run for your life because tomorrow the entire country would be knowing who are you and what you did and then not only police but your so called gang would not leave you alive. You had tried to get rid of them na Asha, now they would make you get rid of your peace of life, tum kabhi chain se nahi ji sakogi kyuki har pal tumhe unka dar satayega, you will fear of them every second every minute and every day!!!!''

"No Geet you can't do this to me''

"I have already done Asha, I hope they would already have seen the letter and mail I had sent, and don't worry, I have told them to publish your messages and phone numbers also from which you had blackmailed me. Anyway those guys are enough to give statement against you that you was also involved in robbery and you had planned everything against me and them!!''

Geet went to wardrobe and started throwing out Asha things and collected everything in her bag and threw on floor.

"Wase, your dress looking comfortable Asha, just change your shoes because I don't think you could run faster in this sandals'' She smirked. Asha was boiling in anger she tried to hit Geet but Geet was well prepared, she held her hand and slapped her hard on her face that she fell so far.

"Don't dare Asha, don't try to repeat your mistake otherwise next time not me but Maan will answer you back!!

"Maan... ' Asha shocked,

"Haan Maan, what had you thought that you can get him through your dirty games?? But you forgot who is he and what he could do to you in response of what you did to me!!! What did you have think Asha that you will humiliate me before everyone!! But now you will not ever be able to gather your respect and pride!!! You will feel same humiliation what had planned for me that not even your family would accept you back!!

" Now pick up your bag and get out from my house!!!!!''
