Geet gets the news about the boys visit...

She makes one last attempt ...but that didn't change anything...

She is very upset...

Just witing for Gia to come back from school...

At least she can forget all this nonsense for a while when Gia is around...

Gia comes runnig...

Geet tries to look cheerful...

But Gia finds out easily that something is wrong...

You can never act in front of a child...for they know when you are acting...

And you think you can fool them easily...

Geet: tumne nastha kiya?

Gia: haan, chalo neeche jaake khelthe hai

Gia pulls her hands...

Geet: nahi, tum jao

Gia: mujhe bhi nahi khelna

Gia sits on Geet's lap...: mujhe kahaani sunao

Geet: Gia, aaj nahi

Gia: nahi, mujhe abhi kahaani sunnaa hai

Geet: tumme patha hai ki kal koi Dhust Danav aaraha hai hummare ghar

Geet: tummari friend ko milne

Gia: tummra friend hai kya?

Geet: nahi, enemy

Gia: phir tumne ussko ghar kyun bhulaya?

Geet: meinne nahi, sab ne

Gia: woh yahan kyun aaraha hai?

Geet: mujhe yahan se lekhe jaane aaraha hai

Gia: phir chalo na usske saath

Geet: kya?

Gia: haan, tum toh yahan se jaana hi chahathi haina?

Geet: mein chali jaathi toh tumme kahaani kaun sunayega? Tummare saath chuk chuk train kaun khelega?

Geet was listening to her favourite number on TV...

Preetho bahut shradha se apna kaam katam karke jaathi

She told Ranno that she had told everything to Geet...

Ranno is so relieved...chalo ek kaam ho gaya...

That night Geet thinks about Preetho's words...

She was so ahppy...what's so good about it?

That night Geet had a nightmare...

Geet wakes up sweating profusely...

She drinks some water and tries to get back to sleep...

Random thoughts come to her mind...

How would her dream prince look? If at all she wants to marry...

She starts thinking about her friend's comment...about MSK...

" shadhi karni hai toh aaise handsome se karna hai warna shadhi nahi karna chahaiye"

" look at him...did he come here to enrich our knowledge or just to torture us with those killer looks"

" don't know how that Bandit Queen(their HOD's nick name) allowed him inside our campus?"...

Dev's institute conducted them...

Some girl came and taught them...

But one day Maan came ...everyone was going gaga over his presence...

Their HOD wanted Maan to brief them about the engineering part...hardware...

Their's beibg an arts college no one cared about the mechanism...

Even when the cable is not connected properly the girls complain that the Printer is not working...

The lab assistant had to look into it everytime...

So she wanted them to handle those little things themselves...

Only Geet was interested in the whole class...mind you, only the class, not Maan...

Maan was reminded of their previous encounter...

He wanted to have some fun...

He said he would set the papers for the assessment...

And as usual he deliberately included his name in one problem and Geet skipped just that one...

Maan was disappointed...

Still Geet had scored better than the others...

Even the Bandit Queen appreciated her...

Then came the practicals...

Maan himself came to conduct it...

This time Geet had no choice but attend that silly problem...

Nothing challenging as she would like but just presenting this phrase " MAAN SINGH KHURANA" in different ways...

Maan had a victorius smile on his face through out that hour...

Next day Maan was having a chat with the HOD...

Geet went to see her, actually HOD wanted her to come immediately...

Geet waited outside as Maan was talking with her...

He was telling about some job he got in US and was going to Delhi...

HOD called Geet in...

Maan was still there...

Geet never minded...

HOD: Maan, meet Geet, she is the outstanding student of this batch, I'm so proud of her

Maan just smiles...

HOD: so Geet, what's your future plans?

Geet feels embarrassed now...

What will she tell her now, she knows that her future is not that bright as Mrs.Sharma thinks...

How would she tell about her families plans to get her married off to Mrs.Sharma, who thinks that girls simply waste their talent and also the college's resources by getting married and forgetting all their education after that, what a waste?

Geet stands there silent with her heads down...

Maan is surprised...

What's wrong with her...that attitude is missing...

And what happened to her omnipresent confidence?

Geet is feeling ashamed of herself...

HOD: so you want to join Msc or MCA?

Geet didn't want further questions...

So she invented a lie...

Geet: I'm going back to Hoshiarpur

HOD: what?

Geet: my father wants me to take over his business, family business

HOD: ohhh, still you can do a correspondence course

Geet: yes m'am

Geet didn't sound good...she is so dull...

Geet: m'am, I'm getting late for my class

She almost ran from that room...

She felt all the more ashamed to tell her true story in front of Maan...

But why? She doesn't klnow...who is he? Why does his presence bother her so much?

Why is she thinking about him?

But why is Geet reminded of MSK now? All of a sudden in the middle of the night?

Geet kept wondering why she had this strange thought? That too about Maan?

Maybe she had heard his name in her sub-concious state when Preetho was telling about him...

Ye Maan Singh Khurana hamesha Geet ko aaisa hi tang kartha, aaj bhi dekho, bechari ke needh hi karab kardhi...
