OS- LIGHT IN THE DARK

Lady doctor- the girl is about a month pregnant...

Before the Doctor could respond to the nurse...

Lady Doctor(L.D.)- Sir the girl's pulse is sinking and too much blood has been lost... head injury is too deep which needs immediate operation...

Doctor( moving towards the L.D.)- then arrange for the operation...what r u waiting for??

L.D.- Sir their family approval, as the operation is dangerous...

Doctor- go ahead Doctor...we can't wait for them...

L.D.- yes sir...

While they were taking Geet to OT Doctor told a nurse to inform Khurana's '.

Then doctor went to the nurse who was attending Maan and asked about Maan.

Nurse- no major injuries except a fracture in the right leg and right hand...A CT Scan might be needed...

Doctor- Fine proceed with the CT Scan..and show me the reports...After about an hour the nurse gave Maan's reports to the doctor...

While doctor was checking Maan's report , someone knocked on the door..

Nurse- Sir, Mr. Maan Singh Khurana's family members are here..

Raj Khurana(panicking)-how is my son and daughter-in- law doctor??

Mohinder Handa- we want to meet them... where are they??

Rano Handa (crying)- they are fine na doctor???

And they bombarded their questions without letting Doctor speak...

Doctor- please maintain silence and control yourself...but he could complete

Raj( in high pitch and holding doctor's collar)- you are asking us to control...(removing his hands from doctor's collor and speaking with pain)how could a father whose children had met with an accident can control himself...

Doctor- I do understand sir and we are trying our best...they had a major accident and they both are badly injured specially the girl '.

At that moment, Rano who was quite till now asked to doctor crying..

Rano- Kya hua meri bachhi ko doctor...woh thik toh hai na...???

On seeing Rano's condition Mohinder came forward and held her sideways..

Doctor- the girl was critical when she was brought here...so, we had to operate her immediately...she is being operated now...otherwise she could have died...

On hearing doctors last words Rano held Mohinder's hand tightly...

Raj- and Maan??? where is he doctor???

Doctor- He is stable but unconscious...his right leg and right hand got fractured and had some minor injuries on head...

Rano( sobbing) - can we see them doctor...???

Doctor- sure...

And they went to see Maan and Geet...

The doctor first took them towards the OT where Geet was being operated and then left...

Rano+ Mohinder+Raj stood near the OT to see Geet...ground slipped from their feet when they saw their beloved Geet in that condition...Geet who was so lively, was lifeless today...tears rolled down from their eyes...

Rano was completely shattered and was continuously crying but Raj and Mohinder were still trying to behave strongly..but tears came out...Rano whose knees completely gave up...she slides down along the wall and starts crying loudly. Mohinder held Rano and sat besides her without speaking a word...

Rano- humari bachhi...( holding mohinder's hand)...humari bachhi mohinder...uske saath aisa kyun hua...babji aisa kaise kar sakte hai humare bachho ke saath...kyun babaji kyun...( crying bitterly)

Mohinder embraced Rano tightly trying to control his own tears...

After about an hour a nurse came to them and told that maan gained conscious but he is continuously asking about his wife...

Mohinder- Lets go Raj...

Raj( on seeing Rano's condition takes Mohinder aside)- i think it will not be gud for maan if he sees Rano in this condition...he will know that something is wrong with Geet...

Mohinder agrees on this and Raj went to Maan's room..

After about half an hour adoctor came out...

Mohinder( moving forward)- how is my daughter doctor??

L.D. - aap???

Mohinder- i m her father...

L.D. - we tried our best sir but...on seeing Rano's condition L.D. hesitated a bit '

Mohinder - But WHAT??? kya hua humari Geet ko.????

Doctor- i m sorry to say but she went in coma...

The moments these words left L.D. mouth they heard a THUD sound with GEET's name...and hearing that voice Rano's and Mohinder's face turned pale...
