The Downpour... Part 67

After going some far suddenly Geet remembered she did not have informed yet Asha about her departure. She told her worry to Maan.

"Don't worry Geet, I have already said Adi about it. After her discharge, she will be staying in outhouse till you are back''

Geet looked him with gratitude. She could not praise him in words, his every action would leave her speechless with so much blooming love again and again.

"Don't look me like this Geet, you will not be able to resist yourself for falling in my arms!!' Maan teased her.

"Who wants to resist Maan..''

Maan looked her, in her eyes. Her eyes were speaking the statement of her heart dipped in so much love and adoration. Geet smiled looking him. Her hidden wish was popping out from eyes, and she wanted to drop them over his heart. She slipped closer and rested her head on his shoulder. She encircled her arms around his arms and felt heaven there sitting beside him. She closed eyes to feel this sensation; the oozing love from his body was giving her warmth and feel of safety. Maan chosen to remain silent and let her feel him.

Meanwhile in hospital,

Asha came to know about news little later and when the news touched her ears, her body started reacting in peculiar way. She could not believe the news and asked nurse to bring newspaper. She was anxious, was not able to lay on her bed in ease till would not see news from her naked eyes and when she saw the pic of Maan holding Geet from her waist, ground started shaking under her foot. She crushed paper in fist and throws it on floor mercilessly. She wanted to break and throw every possible thing presented in this room but her leg had plaster, she found herself helpless.

She dialed Geet number but found it was switched off. She was unable to think straightway what to do, what to say who to call and where to remove her anger and frustration.

Few hours she spends like this only. In between nurses came and talked her about Geet. They had seen Geet with her, they knew Geet was Asha friend and so they wanted to give Asha special behavior in term of getting gossips about Maan and Geet. This all made Asha more and more furious. She again tried Geet phone but it was still not in network and at last she saw, Adi came to meet her.

She controlled her anger, gained normal composure. Adi came and greeted. Asha wanted to talk him about Geet but was not sure where should start from. She waited for the time when he himself would start this topic but Adi was not the person who used to talk about other's life. And finally she she had to start conversation,

"Adi sir, I'm trying Geet number but it's coming switched off always. After seeing that news I am so much worried for her sir, how she would be feeling'' She showed disappointed face like was dying in worry for Geet.

"Don't worry Asha, Geet is fine. She is going back to her home for some days'' But Adi didn't revealed that Maan was also with her.

"What!!'' She shocked, but somewhere she relieved hearing that Geet was running back to home. "I know this news is not right the way it has been published in paper. If it would be true, Geet would not have escaped like this, without even informing me!!''

Adi told her the purpose of coming. He said that if Geet is not there, she is really not need to worry about anything. After her discharge she could stay in outhouse till Geet returns. After some time Adi left for office.

Her face was worth watching when she got to know that Maan had arranged her staying in his home. That was unexpected that when Geet was not there, he wants her to be with him and that created a stronger belief in her mind that Maan really cares for her.

"I knew.. I knew Maan sir that you like me and today my faith got stronger. I know that news is nothing but just a rubbish and that's why Geet run away hiding her face and now, you want me to be there, in your home. I knew it Maan I knew it that one day you will confess your feeling for me. I will wait for the day Maan''

She smiled in her own dream. She get brought the paper again and cut only Maan photo from that and kept under her pillow throwing Geet photo alone on floor. She immediately took out her phone and called Maan.

Their driving was in silence when Maan got Asha call. He narrowed eyes to see her calling him. Hearing phone sound Geet had waken up and looking him thinking why isn't he taking phone?

"What happened Maan, receive it!!''

Maan nodded and without telling her whose call is this, he parked car in side and talked.

"Hello,, Mansir?''

"Hmm!!!''

"Thank you so much sir that you thought about me. I want to say thank for everything what you did for me Maan''

Maan hated her voice. He did not want to hear her further so just said, "Its okay, you don't need to thank me'' and cut call. He turned to Geet who was looking out of window. He did not like her silence, wanted to cheer her up. He started conversation,

"By the way Geet, did you have thought what you will tell your Mom Dad hmm!!'' He started conversation making her startle. She raised face and looked him surprised,

"But Maan I had thought that you will talk with them''

"And why did you think that? When did I say that I would talk them. I am coming with you just to drop you home, now don't start cooking up things in your mind Geet that I am going to tell them truth!! Ab ye kaam toh tumhe hi karna parega'

Geet started thinking deep. She looked him then smiled, "I will do it myself, don't worry Maan''

Maan looked her amazed. He had thought that she would plead for his help but here she was all ready to accept truth before her already furious parents, alone!!

"Hmm That's spirit Geet!!' He stopped car and parked at side of road. He turned to her and said,

"Okay,, think me your parent!''

She narrowed eyes,

"And tell me everything what you would say before them''

She smiled inward. She knew it was his next prank and she decided to enjoy it, giving him completely her consumed reaction.
