My mum gently kissed my forehead and cupped my face with so much love. Then she was off to welcome the groom. I glanced across to my bed, where I wouldn't sleep anymore. The pink sheets with my me to you bear. Each item collated together made my identity. On my bed side table there was picture of me and Ryan of when we were four. I can't describe when or how much I loved him. I just wanted to be with him forever. He was my best friend more than anything. I looked on my henna to see the small R present , my dream was finally coming true. I gushed with happiness, which led me to the window. The procession had died down which meant they had entered the house. Only a few more minutes and then your finally his.

With all the smiling faces and the reflective chandeliers, I moved towards the priest. I was moving to a stage with no groom. I quizzingly looked around to search for his face but he wasn't there. My heart started to pound and my eyes started to well up. My mum could sense the uneasiness and joined my father.
" Geet, why are you worrying he's stuck in traffic, he'll be here soon. Beta just relax"
I was gently placed near the fire and made to wait.

Dear my loving Geet,

I'm sorry for having to do this to you. I have found someone else, I thought loving you would erase her memories. I love her not you and as your best friend I can't hurt you. You will always be my best friend and I will always love you, but not in the same way. Sorry I had to do this to you. I couldn't hurt your feelings but I did not have the courage to marry you. I'll be going far away from here, so you won't have to see me again.

" Miss would you like to some coffee? Miss?"
I woke up to a smiling waitress. It took me a while to understand what she was saying.
" A latte please with little sugar and some cinnamon"
She placed it gently on the placement near me and left. How much had I left behind. I quietly sipped on my latte when an announcement was made.
" The next station approaching will be our final destination. Please have your boarding passes ready for check in. We will be arriving shortly at Gare du Nord.
My new life was finally beginning.

The touch travelled further upwards, till the finger tips were wriggling around my neck. I slowly turned around to face the similar chocolate brown eyes.
" excuse me miss this is my cab, can you please find another." His lips were so close to mine, they were moving in parallel.
Right Geet don't let people walk over you. Stand your ground!!!!
" Excuse me mister, this is my cab, I came here first and you will need to go. Don't you have any other work except to harass a lady.
" Miss does your dad own the cab? I can't see his name on it? It's a free world, I can do whatever I want?"
The driver arrived, sorry Monsieur was here first, in afraid you'll have to go unless you dual share the ride.
" Miss arrogant please can you share the ride with me, I genuinely have somewhere Important to go.
I silently nodded my head.
" Please to the Ifa please."
Oh no he will be there to. I can't believe what weirdos the world has begun to produce. Geet just hope you never see his face again.

The infuriating man, left quickly, leaving behind a black book. Should I pick it up or not. Ill just leave it at the reception and they'll locate him.
My apartment was lovely with a fabulous view of the Eiffel Tower. I soon started to place my luggage in its correct place. The others girls hadn't come yet. I lay across the balcony, to a peaceful serenade. I don't remember when it started to rain, but looking at my ring made me remember the unexpected rain in New York on that night .

The night soon came with an unexpected peace. I fell asleep to a humming voice. The piercing rays of the sun soon awake me to a beautiful Parisian day. I selected a cute t shirt and some shorts. I headed towards the kitchen, where I met Laila and Lizzie. Those girls are what you define as European beauties. Both perfect in their own particular ways. Lizzie was natural blonde whereas Laila was a soft brunette.

"Hi my name is Geet and I'm assuming your my room mates. It's very nice to meet you."
The girls gently moved towards me, resulting in an unexpected sisterly embrace. This will be the best year ever, both of them chimed in.
I placed some shimmering lipstick and blush on my face to face my new day in art class. Art class located at the furthest point, they surely knew how to make a girl sweat. The room was large, and surrounded by interesting artefacts. The windows were all open and slow breeze fell through. I placed my sketching pad on a seat closest to a window. I nervously twisted my ring that was placed on my finger. It never felt right to remove the ring.
" Geet I didn't know you were married? Who is the lucky guy, did he come with you, so many guys will be heartbroken" Laila said jokingly.
I looked down onto my finger and faced them with alarming face.
Oh Im not married guys its just a bad memory that I will always remember that's all.
"Excuse me miss Geet, it's very welcoming to know your not married. I'm sure everyone interested will be happy to know that. Will you kindly discuss more information with us, unless you've come here to learn."
All faces just zoomed onto my face. I followed the trail of this man until he faced towards us. I felt the same brown eyes piercing into my eyes, I constantly felt humiliated.

Geet spent the next two hours, thinking of all the swear words she possibly could. Maan was a big ass! He continued to flex his muscles and most of the girls cooed and aawed.
" what is wrong with these girls, he is such a rude maan, my left wouldn't even want to date him. He has such a big nose and even bigger mouth. He looks like a clown, no Geet he is a clown. Waise he's not that bad."
Her thoughts were interrupted by the dismissal of the bell. She quickly moved towards the back entrance. Laila and lizzie followed behind quietly. Maan was closely following them behind, as soon as she looked behind her appeared In front of her.
" May I please have a chat with you miss Geet?"
" Yes sir"
"We will wait for you near the water fountain Lizzie exclaimed with a huge smile."
" Miss Geet I do not appreciate you making my art class as your personal gossiping class. I do not endure any sort of rubbish and it will be taken seriously. Do not take this warning lightly, because you will have to bare harsh consequences. Now you can be dismissed."
Then he soon disappeared into the overbearing crowd

He made her life miserable like no other. She joined the girls for an eventful evening. Laila officially had gone mad, her new obsession maan started to appear in every conversation. Lizzie apparently made no reluctance in showing her interest in boys at all. In the evening she came with a party invitation to the most happening club. At first Geet didn't want to go, but then the emptiness would eventually start to haunt her. She slipped on a little black dress with black platforms. Her hair was in a sling of ringlets. Her face seems lively enough. The night lights of Paris were magical, it felt like she visualising a silent ballroom dance between the lights.
The girls there were simply perfection at its greatest. They had a shimmering look that made you envy them. By the looks of it Lizzie had already found a boyfriend in Adam.
