Maan also smiled seeing her but then he sensed the presence of silence and looked to Alka then his grandfather. Mohan felt embarrassed he tried to stand up and get Geet back when Yash spoke, Alka to take both children inside, he had to talk Mohan in private. Alka nodded,

"Come Maan..''

She held Maan and Geet and left, shutting door behind.

In Maan room,

Finally Geet had got what she had been asking for from all. Her friend was in front of her playing with her and that was enough to make her feel free like a small bird in huge sky, she started running in whole mansion, demanded to play hide and seek and Maan had to agree otherwise she again would have started crying.

Maan wanted to show her sketches he had made in US. Both sat on bed and Maan put out drawing and kept before her and went to bring more and when he came back, his all sketches had been transformed into big disaster with the Geet drawing practice over them. He kept staring his torn sketches but did not say a word to her, but turned face side, not keeping intension to talk her. He went to sofa and sat there started playing his iPod game.

For some time Geet kept busy in her drawing when she heard game sound, her head automatically turned to Maan and eyes became curiously widen to see what he was playing. She jumped off from bed and came to Maan and stood there raising her hand before him,

"What is this?''

Maan did not answer.

"I also want to play it''

Maan looked toward sketches on bed and then glared her and stood up, went and sat on another couch in room. Geet followed him and again tried to get iPod from his hand but irritated Maan again changed his place but Geet was being Geet, again followed him. How much Maan was getting irritated Geet was enjoying more thinking he must be playing some running game, here to there in entire room and her laugh was making Maan furious more and more and a time came when Geet jumped up on him and tried to snatch game and he pushed her in term of escaping and Geet fell and hit her head with floor. She started crying out loud.

Maan got scared but he did not know what to do, how to make her shut and he kept staring her crying. Alka came running hearing her cry.

"What happened Geet.. Maan what did you do?''

Maan was silent but Geet complained "He don't letting me play with this!!'' she pointed toward IPod.,

"Maan let her also play beta''

Maan silently advanced game to Geet, she instantly took it and smiled.

"That's like a good girl'' Alka carried her in arms and kissed her chubby cheek but till then Geet had been engrossed in game but she didn't knew how to play it!

"Mama Geet isse kharab kar degi'' Maan complained but Alka said she will buy new for him, when Geet interrupted in middle fearing if he would get it back from her,

"No I will not, when you will teach me playing I will remember it''

Alka laughed seeing her fearing, "Really Maan you don't know Geet has grown up a big girl, isn't she?''

"Haan.. my Chachi also says same. Mai bari ho gayi hu, I should wear red powder here..'' She showed her head, "And chain also here..'' She pointed her neck innocently. First Alka did not get what she meant of Red powder and chain but then understood she was talking about Sindoor and Mg, she got shocked!

She kept Geet on bed and decided to get some info what had happened with her in these days, thought she knew it was quite tough because Geet was still a child but she had to do it!

"Maan beta, you take care of her I'm coming in sometime, taking medicine for her okay''

Maan nodded and Alka left thinking something.

Geet came and sat next to Maan and gave him game, saying "Mujhe sikha do''

"You are very small, you won't be able to play with it, wait I give you something else.. '

Maan also went out to get some easy toys for her when Alka came back and found Geet alone, well she didn't heed on Maan absence and sat near Geet. She kept a box before Geet to catch her attention.

"What's in it?''

"Jewelries Geet, do you want to wear it?''

Geet happily nodded, Alka made her sit in her lap and one by one started putting out her jewelries leaving a Mg and sindoor box and a sheet of red Bindi in it but Geet eyes found these things familiar only and she first took out them.

"Do you know beta how to use them?'' Alka asked curiously. Geet nodded and showed wearing them on exact place, making Alka sure that something went very wrong, after her leaving the village.

"Who taught you Geet to wear this things?''

Geet spoke out in her innocence that how she used to wear this daily and when one day did not wear in school all said her widow!!

"No Geet.. bas Beta!!''

Alka body shivered when Geet said this widow' word she took Geet in her embrace instantly hiding her in her motherly chest. She shivered with the thought what else would have been happened with this little child and her family, she had guessed that those villagers would not leave this issue untouched but the result, this revelation slashed her heart.

She knew that believing on a child word was not intelligence but she even knew that child could not make this mature story herself until there wouldn't have any reality somewhere in it. She kissed Geet face everywhere feeling concern for her how could this society do this with an innocent child. .

In her lifetime Geet first time was feeling motherly love though she could not understand it, she also kissed Alka cheek and grinned in joy getting so much love from a woman, when Maan came running inside. He stood rooted seeing his mother crying and Geet was sitting in her lap, he glared Geet thinking she had made Alka cry. Alka smiled in tear looking Maan glaring Geet, she thought how he used to cribbed for Geet and when got her, again came back in his grumpy mood but she knew, this was his nature to show love hiding in anger. She called Maan also and kissed his head, she hugged both children together still thinking what God had written in their destiny, but she did not know that their destiny had been deciding inside a closed door by two people only.

In evening, Alka was making Maan and Geet have their food. After knowing about Geet her heart was not in peace, she felt like to pour all her love on her. Maan was eating himself but Alka was feeding Geet with her hand. She did feel like spending as much as time she could with Geet. Maan was looking them with curious eyes, he never had seen Alka like this. Though he was child but his mind had grown enough to understand that something was going on here, something was different but could not guess what!'

"Mama, why Geet and Mohan uncle have come here?' He asked,

Alka stared him, she herself wanted to know what was going on here. It couldn't be co-incident and if it would be, Yash would never spend much time with Mohan. What they were discussing was the matter of curiosity for her too.

Before she could reply any they saw Mohan coming to them. Geet saw him and jumped off from Alka lap and runs to Mohan, he lifted her in arms.

"Ghar chale Beta'.

Geet became upset, she shook head and said she has to stay here more, don't want to go. She started to be stubborn, started crying.

"Mohan ji if you can, please stay here tonight, dekhiye na Geet kase ro rahi hai''

Mohan thought for sometime, and then agreed saying he would leave after sometime. Maan was hearing their talk with attention, he did not like when Mohan said he would take her away again. He stood up from chair.

"Maan complete your food Beta!!!''

"Mama I want to play that game before Geet takes it from me'' He said pointed toward Geet making her remember about the game and she also jumps off from Mohan lap and followed Maan shouting it was her game not his!!!

Both Alka and Mohan looked them and felt odd. Well, Alka was satisfied, she had got time to talk him about past. Alka said servant to serve Mohan dinner but he denied. Alka did not insist more, she knew something was not normal.

After showing Mohan his room she herself walked to her room but she desperately wanted to have a talk with Mohan but she was afraid of Yash, she could not meet him in yash presence it won't look decent!

She was resting on her bed when heard Geet and Maan shout, when Geet was cribbing again for something. She rushed to Maan room where both were playing together and found Maan was stood in corner smiling and Geet was crying and searching for something in every corner. When Geet looked Alka she runs to her and complained Maan had hid her game somewhere but Maan denied innocently, he had done nothing.

Mohan also came running, tried to console Geet but she was adamant. Somehow Mohan carried her and brought out in garden and made her sleep showing Moon, Stars, flowers and all. After sometime she slept on his shoulder.

"Mohan ji, make her sleep in room, I think it wouldn't be safe to leave at this time of night''

Mohan also thought and felt the coldness of weather, he thought would leave at early morning.

"Laaiye..mai isse sula du''

He gave Geet to Alka and she made her sleep in warm room, came out to have some talk with Mohan.

Maan was watching everything from far, he smiled. He took out game from his pocket and went to Geet and kept it next to her. He looked her sleeping, slowly climbed up on bed and came near and softly kissed on her cheek and left room smiling.

Here Alka thought to talk Mohan but heard yash cough sound, came to know he was still awake. She did not find courage to stay there for further; she left in her room and slept. Mohan also came back to Geet and slept. All had slept in house but the only one who was awaken, he was Maan who was fearing with the sun rise, fearing what if Mohan took his friend away from him again, but he did not know when he slept, morning came and his Geet had been taken away from him again, but no one could know..
