"Why you are not ready for office?''

He put curls behind her ear, yet keeping her in arms.

She shook her head, looked him. "Today I'm not coming office. I want to be with Asha'

"But Geet..'

"Shh!!' She closed his mouth keeping her palm on it.

"Please Maan, don't stop me today. Maan we don't have our families here. We both are each other's family. I don't want her to feel alone without her own people. I want to be near her when she needs me'

This was the first time Geet had taken a step toward him, by touching him, with utmost right. How could he refuse her request? He nodded in agreements.

Geet felt his lips movement below her skin. She removed hand but Maan held it immediately and brought near his mouth, gave a passionate kiss there and forced Geet shiver in pleasure. He then took her hand in her and said,

"Don't ever dare to say Geet you don't have your family here''

She looked him with expectation. What he was about to say next!!!' she was curious to hear. As if Maan understood her eagerness. He smirked.

"I mean Adi and Pinky, they are your friends here' He left her and walked some far, pretended to read in his phone.

"Aur!' She was yet waiting.

"Aur, whole office staffs are here for you'

"Aur'

"And Dadima is here for you Geet. She thinks you as her daughter'

Maan turned back and looked her. He knew what she wanted to hear but not this easily he would confess his love. He walked near her and stopped.

"Aur Maan' her eyes were still lingering on him, to find the answer of her question but his was showing attitude, it was irritating her.

"Tell me Maan who else is here, as my family'

"Umm who else.. Yaad nahi aa raha Geet'' he acted like thinking something. "Okay let's do one thing. You give me name of all people whoever you know and I will guess, that who can become your family, among them'

He stared her with teasing eyes but it angered her instead.

"Move, I don't want to hear'' she pushed him and walked away when Maan held her arm and pulled back. She been trapped between his arms from behind but it didn't let lessened down her foul mood.

"You really want to know Geet, Hm!'

But she didn't reply back.

He rested his face over her cheek and tightened his hold around her waist. Now this proximity was making her insane that was going unable to handle for more.

"Bolo Geet, do want to know who is and will always be for you. Whom you can call your family and who want to make you part of his life, hm',

His words were sprinkling magic on her. She was forgetting her anger even her own self she was forgetting and was beginning to fly in unseen dream with his every word.

His lips were fondling over her smooth face, was repeating same question again and again which her mind was collecting haphazardly. Somehow she nodded in yes. Maan turned his eyes on her and found her completely drowned in his love, with closed eyes.

"I want to know' she was breathing softly.

He smirked. He loved to see his effect over her. "Today you'll know, answer of your all questions''.

He whispered back while caressing her cheek with his lips, then placed a beautiful kiss there and went away.

Geet opened eyes after a while and found her self alone. Maan had gone long before. Geet was amazed, "was it my dream? Will he confess his love today!!! Babaji!!!'' She was thrilled with the thought. Everything was going too fast to manage by her small heart.

"But when? He did not tell me anything!' She made face thinking he would again tease her, that always used to give her secret pleasure. But she knew, had no other option than to wait. Excitedly she started her day in her new home.

She was sitting with Asha and chatting her but her mind was constantly going toward Maan. 'What he will do and when'' Was the only thing she could think at the time.

"Geet what you thinking?'' Asha asked looking Geet lost.

"Um.. nothing!!''

Again and again Geet was looking at her phone, as if Maan would call. Her restlessness kept increasing with every passing minute and at last when it looked so tough to control more, she decided to call him herself. She dialled Maan number and went little far, in private Asha that increased Asha curiosity.

Maan phone buzzed when he was in car. He smiled looking at her number flashing on his phone screen. He waited for sometime, made Geet more anxious and then picked up.

' Hello'

As he spoke his first word, Geet all courage disappeared at once. She stammered thinking 'what to ask!'

"Hello Geet''

"Ji'

"Geet, will you say something, or have called to let me hear your silence, hmm!''

"nahi wo'

"Wo kya Geet'

"Wo, you were saying something in morning, but did not finish'

"I was?.. What Geet, I can't remember' He smirked.

Geet made face 'Now how to make him understand.. Babaji!!'' She looked up.

"Bolo Geet, what I was saying?'

"nahi, wo you said you'll give my answer'

"Answer?.. what answer!! Geet, I am not getting anything. Can you please make me clear what you wanna say??''

"Kuch nahi!!!' She became irritated. '' I know you are teasing me!!'' She thought and cut the call cursing Maan under her breath. She came back to Asha and tried to suppress her curiosity.

Maan laughed. He could imagine her state. "She must be cursing me right now'' he chuckled. After sometime he called her.

Geet looked Maan call and became excited. She excused and went far from Asha.

"Hello!!'' Though Geet was feeling so excited but she didn't want to show her anxiety. She spoke with calm.

"Geet I remembered!!!''

"Sachhi!!!'' she jumped in delight. "Aapko yaad aa gaya??''

"Haan! I remembered that I forgot my Noida project file in my study room. Can you keep it with you safely''

"What!' .. ' Is it you remembered???''

"Haan Geet, and please don't forget this file to bring office tomorrow, okay!!'

'' Thik hai'', She was extremely irritated now. She cut call and went back to Asha who was observing everything with utmost attention.

Maan now felt bad though he was enjoying her restlessness. "But Maan if she becomes angry, fir teri shamt aayegi!''. He laughed. Again he called Geet but this time, she did not take. Now she had been frustrated with his mischief.

"Geet, your phone is ringing' Asha was surprised as why Geet was not taking call. Geet said its wrong number and ignored.

"Seems she is angry' Maan self talked. Now he got alarmed with her vexation. "It's not easy to make her convince'

He again tried calling but Geet again ignored. She was super annoyed now.

"Um Geet, can you bring something to drink. I'm feeling like have juice'' Asha was so eager to know what was going on. Geet nodded. She stood up to go when Asha said to leave her phone there as she wanted to talk her parents. Geet gave her phone and went out. Finding chance Asha immediately checked whom call Geet was ignoring and shocked to see, it was of Maan!

"Maan sir!!!''

While she was checking her phone, she got a sms from Maan.

"Geet, can you meet me in office at 10. We have to attend an urgent meeting. Its driver number, you just call him whenever gets ready. He'll bring you to me'

Asha read and surprised, ''why Maan sir calling her in night!!'' Her heart started burning in jealous. "No way Geet you would reach him, I'll not let you meet him!!'' .

She sent reply msg saying 'OK, I'll come' and then immediately called to driver,

"Bhaiya, you aren't needed to wait for me as Maan sir will come to take me''

Then she deleted Maan message before Geet could be back. She kept phone as it is on bed and calmly slept.

Maan got her reply and smiled. He was relieved knowing that Geet was not much angry from him.

"I know Geet, you are angry but I promise you, you'll forget everything when will find yourself in my arms and hearing the words which you're restless to hear from me''

He happily started planning surprise for her..
