Maan just munched the cereal mumbling.. yah right I like cereals.
He didn't want to hurt her or let her down infront of dev.. saying he would love to eat the parats if u cared to cook it for me. Its been like that for every thing. He never refused to her assumptions. He was happy atleast she took that much interest in him.
Not that she ignored him. They were very much in sync couple. But her side was missing. Or lost in her world. Or she never felt a miss. Should I say he indulged in her so much that the miss never hit her. She was the most happiest person in the world. She was every thing she ever dreamed off. Beautiful family.. good kid.. peaceful home. Every thing was in accord to her choice, she didn't even realize when & how it happened. How she became the Geet she was.. happy, enjoying life, wearing the shades she loved, enjoying the food she loved. She had stopped yoga during pregnancy.. & lost track of it ever since. Meditation she tried but could hardly focus.. she will be worried about Dev's studies, his health.. uska school.. umm.. & the list never ends.
Her face glowed every day with happiness. Maan never let anything bother her ever. Even a smallest thing like picking her cloths from laundry was taken care. As a parent both of them did a lot for Devansh. Geet wanted to put him in private school in USA.. that was dam expensive.. but Maan obliged. It was quiet challenging but he did it. Probably thats why they didn't plan for another one too. Initially Geet wanted to wait for some time & then the topic never came up.
Latter in the evening geet was helping Dev with his packing while Maan was looking into some file in the living room. Geet was really getting concerned. Here came the sensitive topic.. she was not sure but very typically momy thingy.
Geet ' dev.. umm .. wo..
Maan instantly knew she was into something that she was not comfortable with. He hid his face into the file.
Geet looked at Maan & then cleared her throat ' wo main kah rahi thi
dev ' yah mom mujhe pata hain.. bahar nahi kahna.. raat ko jaldi sona..etc etc .. right
geet ' haan aur wo ladki wadki se bhi
she looked away ' acha wo dress pass karna
dev crossed his hands & looked at his mom

dev ' mom agar aapko lagtha hain ke main kisi desi ladki se shaadi karonga.. wo bhi arranged marriage just forget it
Maan smiled knowing Geets instant fuming reaction. He knew there will be a nice fight between his sweet hearts now. He tried hard to concentrate on his file.
Geet snapped back irritated ' kyun desi ladkiyun main kya karabhi hain
dev as bold as he was ' they suck in bed
geets eye popped out, her ears were virtually bleeding. She was tongue tied. Didn't know how to react.. slap him, or question him or ???

Like it is not mutual. & there knowledge is so dha.. he rolled his eyes
its more like they r doing a favor to their husband. Common they too enjoy it. So why can't it be more mutual. Why do they make it feel so dam Man thing.
Dev was used to sharing every thing with Geet from day one. He even told her the first time he had his wet dreams. He even told all about his affairs.. all about his fantasy.. so this was not very new to him. But for Geet this perspective was different. She was not used to this side of parenting deep talk to ... Nor was she an expert with sex life. To think about it she had been a typical girl Dev was describing right now. She is guilty.. she did enjoy it with her husband.. the way Maan made her feel special every time.
Dev was enjoying his mom silent reaction.. he continued his bit of gyan ' mom accept it.. it is boring for a guy to keep taking the lead. OK
Maan ' thats say 30mins in 24hrs. What do u plan for rest of the day son

geet had no clue what they were talking about. She looked at Dev & then Maan
dev laughed ' 10 hrs.. dad seriously??
Maan didn't even flinch ' what about the remaining 14hrs son?
His tone was serious.
Dev knew his dad was serious. He looked at him not wanting to give up his side of the argument.
Maan ' rest 23hrs or say 14hrs its the understanding & care that will hold u

Geet was doubting her own upbringing now. Was her son such a despo. She gave annoyed look to Maan.

Geet was not sure when did that happen. Meera & Dev visited them often. Even they visited them in India. But she never remember noticing Maan eating paratas. Or she didn't notice him at all!

Maan got very worried for geet. He looked at her in concern. But she was fine & carefully listening to her son.

dev ' sati means wife.. a good wife. Just like pati is for husband
a women devoted to her husband & her family. Sati prata is just a part of the extended being sati. Its easy to die with a person, but equally impossible to live with the same. Put up with is temper, accept his short comes. No one wants that godly respect now days. All we want is a companion.. in all sense he emphasized

dev ' jaisen mother days day ke din.. I make breakfast for u. aap tho humesha mana karthi hain. But don't u like it. He kissed her cheek lovingly
geet smiled defeated ' I love it beta
dev ' waisen hi.. dad ko batne ki kya zarorat hain. By now u should have known.

dev walked across the room & picked the file that was lying on the dinning table ' padh lo
geet has seen this report lying on the table for months never read it
Maan in attitude ' who is the girl Devansh?

dev gave his usual caught smile & went into the room. Maan followed him. He signaled geet .. I will take care of it.
Geet paced restlessly across the room waiting for Maan to come back. The moment Maan came back she pounced at Maan with her questions
Maan smiled ' kuch nahi hain baba. He is ok.
Tumhara beta batka nahi hain don't worry
He cupped her face & softly placed a peck on her forehead ' he is very sweet
Geet sighed ' main dar gayen thi
she said wrapping her arms around his waist.
He kissed on top her head & caressed her back softly.
She rested her head on his chest & asked cutely' aapko sach main mutton chops pasand nahi?
Maan sighed ' tumhari haat ki bani pasand hain
she pulled out & looked at him suspiciously
he pulled her back into a bear hug ' I do.. I so much love u
it was so natural. nothing dramatic plane simple truthful word. She missed a beat. She knew it all the while but it felt so different when he said it.
Geet ' aap ko 18 saal lagyen yeh kahne ko
Maan countered ' tumhen bhi tho itne saal lagyen mujhe sunne main
she made a cute face ' mujhe phelen se hi pata tha. Mujhe Sam ne batya tha.
