The scene with the Dr. Guha, I can so understand her stand there & even her reluctance. It's difficult to show your vulnerability to others that too someone unknown after the ones you considered & called as own left you to face it all making each day & moment of your life miserable to live in the name of punishing for a offense you are guilt & are bearing the consequences so horribly without escaping or shying away from it. Her saying is justified and also listening to him was so beautifully portrayed.
I admired your writing skill again while describing her room. You could have just described her & the interaction, but even in that nail biting & need of the hour situation you did complete creative justice by not leaving out on symbolic description of the room. Ice blue wall—coldness in her causing to form a wall of indifference and apathy, beige coloured curtains --- the dullness and taking each one's taunt on a colourless frame of herself, and the best one of it all FLOWERLESS VASE--- the loss of beauty & appreciation in life showing her detachment & dejection. Indeed it was correspondent to her lifeless form laying minuscule in that room.👏
The scene when he's trying to convince her was so touching. Each of their sense & their soul alert & attentive. His voice at first makes her stiff but then when she feels his soothing touch smoothing her hair causes her tension to leave her even though its temporary, with his warmth trying to touch & engulf her she again turns stiff as she wants him to stay away as her tabooed shadow shouldn't touch him. "Tenderness of his voice could melt a stone … but Geet was turned nothing less…" Beautiful! Even though resistant she isn't able to break his resolve, as now he's lost in her vulnerability & his guilt of not protecting her. I loved that scene when she quietens all her resistance when he places her palm on his chest, his heart…. ❤️ it's as if reassuring her & self that he loves her & won't let harm come her way now ever and that till his heartbeats are there he won't let anyone judge her. And then the final crumbling of her resistance with that "For my sake" Oh I felt for them both.
I even felt her helplessness & fight to hold onto her resolve of not tainting his life with her own inferior self that she considers herself unworthy for any love when she wants to keep him away how much ever it hurts her "How many more times I have to beg mercy from you SIR …. Just tell me." The whole scene of her nearing the car - her weakened self yet not giving up on self punishment & his helplessness to see her bearing it all is in itself her punishing him to have kept quite since the time she and others have been torturing her. Asking why now & not then when she craved & longed to be in his embrace. And then another closure to it all by "Stop it please.." his plead for her & him when she gazes after such ling period in his caramel eyes that now don't reflect hate & disgust but only love, care & support. He is trying his best & I really appreciated it the way you showed it by him denying Dia to sit by his side in the car.
The only time when I has a small smile on my face while reading this part was when Mr. Sahay allowed him to pay her bills seeing his claim & authority, finally Arjun is being her hubby Maan; and also when Dr. Guha questioned him that he does it for his every student and he flushes at it.😃😊😳
Dev?? Does he love her? I guess the answer is yes. But how will he react on knowing the whole of it. And why did Anant say all that?? This Anant always leaves me with innumerable questions & I'm forced to be so enamoured with his character that is able to rule it all even when he doesn't feature physically in any scene.
Su… I really love her loyalty & friendship. She convinced her Dad for Geet. Good one.👏
The police station scene was true in its context and form. That's what is rampant in our society. I won't even blame them entirely as they would be questioned on such high profile case. They see common man low while a minister's son is required guarantee. The questions asked & taunts are something shows how helpless a girl can be in this patriarchal society. Completely justified & angering to me.😡😡
Geet understanding Arjun's unsaid words about the police station complaint, and also stating she knew it, as she has faced so much and grown so much in last 15 days she knows what this society is made of. Her closing eyes there on showed her giving up on everything, everyone not wanting any of it, turning cold & indifferent even to his touch & his warm embrace.
Her words to Dia though shows her hurt it also shows her insecurity & acceptance of failure. She fears that she will harm him more with her being with him, she being unworthy & undeserving of love. She accepts she failed as a student as she failed in each relation & understanding of people in her life so much that she strangulated her own budding love. What she spoke to Dia was her own fear & insecurity but then it was like that straw to hold onto for Dia that there's hope for her unrequited love forgetting that she has no space in them for even her unrequited & unacknowledged love, it will only give her more pain in the bargain when all of the truth & their (Geet-Arjun) relation dynamics comes out. She blurted it all out to Arjun in her haze of wanting it when she feels the other does not want the love she craves for forgetting that it's all play of destiny and not her say. I felt bad for her. But the she was bound to be hurt as love isn't just pain, pleasure it is also rejection & heartbreak.
I fear what Arjun makes of her broken conclusion of Geet's statement. From here forward his take on it will either build their relation on stronger foundation or break it beyond repair.
Satya … I knew he will play a mighty role. I love him for what he did with his dhamakedar entry.😃 His one statement did it all. Showed Dia the harsh truth, the failure, rejection and also that there's no space for her in between two imperfect souls bound by thin string of destiny to make it all perfect. "Can't forget her as …. She is his wife…"👏👏
Only Satya could do this as he has more to play in this all. And more than him his father has a major role I suppose.
Again the Q – Are you planning for Satya-Dia? Su-Dev?
Continue soon. Sorry to reply so late was held up and wanted to read & comment in peace.😃
