Things were getting difficult for Maan day by day .For Geet it was the love from her side ,and she didn't have a heart to voice her feelings.but Maan knew that Geet was in love with him and he was getting restless due to his mixed feelings. And It was easy for him when Dadi was unaware of the truth of Sameera so he wasn't in need to be near Sameera and Geet was always with him but now every thing was just reversed.He was searching excuses to be with Geet.and he could see Geet going far away from himself.
days were passing like this. But there was no progress.There was only one change that Maan worked till late at office and he tried to engage Geet with him and he always dropped her after work and never tried to go inside of the Khasnna House inspite of the request of Geet to come and meet Sam
Savitriji decided to declare the date of the engagement .That was the day of Maan's birthday which was four days later

countdown starts
Day one
Now Savitriji informed Pammi about the engagement.
Pammi-Par maaji we have too little time for preparations
Savitriji-You don't need to do anything as the engagement will take place at KM. and Keep Geet at home till engagement for the help.
Pammi-Thanks Maaji
Savitriji shied ,one task was complete.She informed Maan too about the engagement but he gave no ear to it
Maan went office that day .and got busy in work.It was near 10 and he noticed that Geet was not in office.He went to Ram's cabin in hope to see her there.
Ram-Come Maan.
Maan couldn't find Geet there too.he set on chair before Ram.Maan looked here and there and Ram noticed it.He was feeling bad for him but Geet and Maan had not left any other option so that was last effort for him to solve that issue.
Ram-Maan idhar udhar kya dekh rahe ho?
Maan-papa Geet aaj office nahin aayi?
Ram-she is on leave till Engagement to help her mother
Maan-what? But why so sudden?
Ram-Maan.Maa told you about it in morning itself .Didnt you hear her then.
Maan took a deep breath.Ram saw him and said-Maan Beta itna aasan nahin hai ye sab.Abhi bhi time hai Maan, Decision still can be changed.Maan didn't say a word.
Ram-At least tell her once Maan that you love her.Ho sakta hai ki wo apna faisla badal de.Try once Maan Please
Maan got up and left,went to his cabin all lost.
Geet is on leave till engagement that means I will not be able to see her till the engagement.

Geet was no less than Maan. She knew some where that she had lost her bestfriend. She knew Sameera well as she had already accused her with some ugly alligations.After engagement or maariage she will never allow her to continue the friendship with Maan.She never shared this fear with Maan knowing his nature.She didn't know why but was waiting for his one call as she could not talk him before taking the leave.Now she could only meet directly on engagement.
Maan and Ram returned from Office in the evening.Priya asked Nakul to bring tea.Maan set there silently.
Savitriji signaled Priya to speak.Priya nodded
Priya-Maan engagement me teen din hi rah gaye hain.do one thing take leave for tomorrow.Tumhaari engagement ke liye shopping bhi to karni hai.Apne liye dress pasand kar lena.
Maan-I have lot of work tomorrow.So can't take leave.Mr Sahni bhi kal office aa rahe hain.you can go maa and buy a dress for me which ever you like, that shop owner know about my size.
Priya-Maan but we have to buy a ring too for your fiancee.
Maan-jise pahanni hai us ko le jana pasand karne ke liye
Priya-Okey.
Maan went to his room all disappointed.and all were to see his irritation.then Savitriji smiled-And he says that he will marry Sameera.
In his room Maan laid on his bed.he wanted to listen Geet's voice to soothe his heart.
He dialed her number and waited for her to pick call.Geet saw the caller id on screen and a smile came on her lips.She picked up-hello
and Maan closed his eyes to let dissolve that voice in his heart along with ears.When Geet didn't get any response she again said-Maan are you there?
Maan-Hmm..
Geet-Phone kyun kiya?kuchh kaam tha?
Maan- kyun bina kaam ke main phone nahin kar sakta kya?
Geet-nahin, I mean kar sakte ho.
Maan-why didn't you tell me before taking leave?
Geet-I didn't knew anything about it Mom informed me in morning only She also told me that dadi asked her to keep meat home for the help
Maan-It's okey
Thay talked for a while as they were applying the ointment on their hearts

Day 2
Next day Priya again asked Maan to come with her for shopping but he refused and left for office.Priya dialled Pammi to send Sameera for shopping but pammi informed her that Sam was not at home as it was her last day for the shoot of the add which she made it prephoned because of the engagement.
Priya-But we have to buy a ring for the engagement and It can be done only today.can you send Geet as i think both girls' size must be same.I don't think we have much time to postphone the work for the next day.I will come to pick her up
Pammi-Priya ji pls do me a favor.Pls select a ring for Maan. Geet will pay for that.as you can buy what is best for Maan.and please keep it with you as the engagement will be held at your place
Priya hung the call and wondered -I cannot believe it, like other occasions Sam. today too is unable and Geet is coming instead of Sam.
She picked up Geet and went to mall.They went to the cloth shop. First they went to the men section.
Priya-Geet Let's select a sherwani For Maan.Maine usko kitna kaha saath aane ke liye par wo mana hi nahin.ab humen hi select karni padegi.
They choose a sherwani of white color with silver embroidary.Priya didn't forget to ask Geet to chose that.after that Priya bought some more clothes from there
then they entered women section and selected some dresses.Geet helped Priya without any question.She didn't notice for whom Priya was buying those dresses
It was the time for selecting the ring. First they select a ring for maan.Priya selected a ring but saw Geet was looking at another ring. Geet tumhen ye wali pasand aa rahi hai?
Geet- Nahin aunty jo aapko pasand ho wahi lijiye.
Priya-Mujhe bhi yahi jyada achhi lag rahi hai.she gave an old ring of Maan to shop keeper to pack the right size of the ring, and said to show some beautiful rings for girl.
Salse girl put so many beautiful rings before them.Priya asked Geet to select a ring of her finger's size, and she select a simple yet beautiful ring.

Evening
Priya returned after shopping and showed the dresses and ring. Maan was least interested in that shopping stuff

Maan took sherwani in his hand and caressed it with her fingers and there was a smile on his lips.he could not gether a courage to pick Geet's dress in front of his family. he saw that orange dress from far and loved that color as he imagined her in that dress.
Night-maan was lying on bed thinking about Geet.he was missing her a lot.he sighed-Maan abhi to do din beete hain.aage puri zindgi padi hai.Abhi to Sameera ke saath koi rishta nahin hai tab tumhen ye durian pareshan kar rahi hain.do din baad ek rishta jud iaayega tab kya karoge.Kal ke baad to uske liye bhi kuchh reponsibility hogi Maan.

Two days passed. Maan could not get a chance to see Geet. It was third day Maan was getting more and more irritated with all these happenings.he was being careless about his food and other routine habits. Next morning he got up lazily and saw Geet sitting there smiling.
He smiled-Geet.Tum yahaan itni subah?
Geet-haan.tumhen do din se dekha nahin isliye aa gayi.
Man-Really? you know I missed you too.
Geet-I know.mmujhe apne aas pass dekhne ki aadat ho gayi hai na tumhen. But you will have to change that habbit.you know tumhaari sagai ke baad hum dono ka rishta badal jaayega. hum sirf dost nahin rahenge Maan.tum Sameera ke saath ek rishte me jud jaaoge aur humen us rishte ko hi nibhana padega.bus hamaare paas ye do hi din hain hamaari dosti ke and a tear escaped from her eyes.Maan raised his hand to wipe that tear .as he tried to wipe it Geet disappeared

Maan saw every where in room but it was all quite.
Maan-ye sapna to nahin tha as I m fully awaked.to kya jo kuchh Geet ne kaha wo mere mann ka darr hai.Kya sach me Geet ka aur mera rishta badal jaayega?N ... n.. Nahin aisa nahin ho sakta
He went to get freshened and after getting ready he went to have breakfast and he saw Geet
sitting Beside dadi.She smiled to see him-Good morning Maan
Maan smiled to see her. all were having breakfast
Maan saw Geet she was talking to with dadi in a teasing tone.Both saw Maan and hi fived
Maan-Geet Baaten band karo aur finish your breakfast.We are getting late.and he looked at her,but that seat was empty and every one was looking at him with a surprised look.
Priya-Maan kya kah rahe ho.Did I heard Geet from your mouth.
Maan saw every one and knew that he can't give them any excuse to distract their mind so he said-wo maa aaj kal Geet chhutti par hai to kaam kuch jyada hai.Main usse kuchh discuss karne ke baare me soch raha tha to shayad sochte samay muh se nikal gaya hoga-
Saying this he excused himself and went .

In office too he couldn't get peace.He was seeing her every where be it her cabin, or canteen or reception.He could see her talking to other employees.his heart was now out of his control.Perhaps the limit to control his heart was broken. Now fear was taking place of that control. The fear to lose Geet. Jab ye sab socha tha to Geet was with me so It was okey but now he could see her going away. and Geet,she doesn't even know that he loved herAm I cheating her by not telling it?
Maan Punched the glass table with his bare hands.Thank god his hand was safe But every one in the office heard the sound that breaking sound.
Ram too heard that sound and came running to him and saw the broken glass.He ordered all to go back to the work.
Ram-Maan what are you doing. ye sab karke tumhen kya milega?
Same time Maan's phone buzzed. It was Geet. Maan saw the screen and excused him self and went away-hello
Geet-Maan are you okey?
Maan -Haan. kyun?
Geet-wo actually i was taking a nap being tired and had a dream that some thing bad is happening.So i just called to know if every thing is okey or not.people say that day dreams are mostly come true.theek hai main rakhti hoon and she cut the call.
Maan was so helpless-Why did she think only about me when she had a bad dream.She always thinks about you.
Maan jab tumhen itni takleef hai to Geet ka socho uske saath to koi nahin hai.

Geet cut the call and thought-Why did you call him Geet?koi zaroori to nahin ki tumhaare mann ka har darr Maan se hu juda ho.wo kya sochega ki tumne usko call kyun kiya.Kahin usne iska koi aur hi matlab nikaala to?
Sameera called her and she went.She saw that Sameera's engagement dress was ready.It was a designer dress and was beautiful.
Pammi-Geet. you too buy a dress for your self for the engagement.
Geet-Mom I have so many dresses so don't need one.I will manage.
Sameera-Geet I asked you to book the beautician .have you?
Geet-Yes Sameera I have done don't worry.
Sameera-Mom said that you went on shopping with Priya aunty?
Geet -haan you were on your shoot so she took me to check the size of the ring. and Mom too asked me to buy a ring for Maan.so I went. Yesterday you came very late so you could not see it.Now the rings are with Priya aunty
