Guys there had been a confusion in last update. All of you were confused in names of maa and dadi. So let me clearify you all that maa's name is "savitri" and dadi ma is "dadima" only, no name for her.

Part 50

Maan sat between the kids on the ground in the bright sunlight as they played kabaddi. Maan was in opposite team all alone while teh entire children clan was against him, trying to defeat him. But whenever any one would come to push him out, he would just pick that child up chucking him out of the game in a second.

Geet smiled as she heard another child screaming to be kept down while maan laughed out loud as he out him too. "ye maan bhi na bacho ke saath bacha ban gya hai" savitri said smiling as she came in kitchen where geet was trying to lit wood stove.

Savitri sat down on the mat, as she cut down the veggies while geet prepared for the rotis. Geet lit the wood but it didn't catch fire. She again tried but failed. "geet put some paper pieces on top and light them first, it will help wood in catching fire" savitri advised as she saw geet struggling. Geet nodded and added few old papers and finally after full 10 minutes, it finally caught fire.

Geet was making rotis, when the woods caught more fire and released dense smoke, which geet inhaled mistakenly. She started coughing badly, and closed her eyes tightly as they started burning due to smoke. Savitri immediately rushed to her and fanned the stove to remove the stove and then checked on geet, helping her to wash her eyes.

"geet are you ok bte" said savitri worried as she saw her red eyes. "umm maa, bas thoda jal rhi hai akh" savitri wiped her eyes with her pallu and after geet got calmed, she said, "geet you go and cut veggies, i will do the cooking. It's difficult to use these stoves" "am sorry for all that" geet said as she looked at the roti which had completely burned due to the excess heat.

"that's ok bte, hota rehta ahi" she said patting her head and took the charge of the stove while geet started cutting veggies.

Geet went to call maan for lunch. She immediately covered her head with her dupatta before stepping out of the house, as their people preferred women's head covered. Geet saw maan and children in the front ground, children were sad because maan had won as every one of them lost. Geet saw them asked the reason for the sadness while maan stood on the other side of the ground.

"didi maan bhaiya ne hum sabko hara dia" a little boy said looking sad. "ha didi, unhone hum sab ko utha utha ke kabaddi me hara dia. Ab dekho kaise has rhe hai" another boy complained. Geet felt bad for the children and thought something and going down on her knees, she whispered something in their ears.

Their eyes turned bright in happiness as they laughed at geet's idea and nodded. Geet hi fived them and winked at maan who looked at her confused wondering what she said to the kids. She went and sat down on the porch stairs while a kid went to maan and said, "one more round and if you beat us, then we accept our defeat"

Maan knew it was geet behind that deal and nodded and took his position. The heaviest among them came forward to oppose him. Maan prepared himself to lift the kid and put him on the other side, but before he could properly lift that kid, all the kids attacked him together, making him stumble down and fall on the ground with all the kids all over him. Due to the sudden force, his breath lost for a second and he stopped his chant of kabaddi, making him loose.

Geet clapped loudly as all the kids jumped in joy. Maan glared her as kids started making fun of him, while she just smirked. He thought of something and said, "since you guys won, you deserve some gift, right. So just wait for a second and i will be right back" the kids squealed hearing about the gift while geet wondered which gift he is talking about.

He gave her a smirk and soon came back and went to the kids and took out a box of dairy milk chocolates. Geet's mouth watered seeing them and her craving increased as she saw him distributing it among the kids one by one. She too went and stood in front of him stretching her hand, but then he showed her empty box, saying he distributed all, nothing left for her.

She made a face at him and said that maa is calling him for lunch. He nodded and she ran away inside, cursing him internally for teasing her for chocolates, when he knew they are her life. She served him silently, didn't even gave him a glance even while he ate. He tried to hold her hand again, but she bit him making his hand loose as he yelped in pain, but she didn't gave him a look even.

After she cleaned the kitchen, she went in her room to settle her bags, as they were still unopened. She opened the locks of her bag and removed the clothes, but got shocked when she saw a dairy milk chocolate box. She immediately took out the box and opened it to find at least 15-20 chocolates in it. How come they came here, she wondered, but then who can keep in here other than maan. She smiled at that, and then realized how she bit on his hand, but then involving chocolates in fight is wrong, isn't it???

She went out in search of him and found him on the terrace. He was doing something in a while, grossly engrossed in it. "yha bhi kaam" she thought, and then wiped off the sweat of her forehead that formed due to the hot temperature.

"what are you doing in this hot temperature on terrace, chaliye niche chalte hai" she said standing in front of him. But he ignored her, didn't even looked at her. "maan" she again called, but he refused to listen to her. "maan aap sun rhe hai" she again said and that's when her eyes fell on his left hand, it had her teeth's mark imprinted on it deep, she could guess she would have surely made it bleed a little, as the dark redness proves.

She immediately bent down trying to hold his hand, but he immediately pulled it back. "maan am really sorry for that. Sachii maine jaan ke nhi kia" she said and tried to held his hand again, but he pulled it back and closing the file, stood up and started going down. She followed him and held his hand, but wrongly at the place she bit him.

He winced with the contact and she immediately left realizing her folly. 'maan" she called but he left giving her a final glare. She went down and saw him sitting in the room doing something in that file again. She was about to go inside but heard savitri call her and she had to go to her.

Whole day savitri kept her busy in one or the other thing, not letting her to go in the room. Later in the evening some nearby ladies came to ask about dadi's health and meet geet personally. Thus geet had to sit with them and then prepare for dinner.

Around 9, everyone had their dinner and she finally cleaned the dishes and by 10 was free to go in her room. But before going, she decided to have a check on dadi and found her moaning in pain.

"dadiji are you ok" geet asked concerned.

"bte my legs are paining very badly, please ask savitri to apply some warm oil on them" said dadi moaning in pain as she turned a little with a great difficulty.

Geet was about to call savitri but then thought that savitri was tired too, after all she was taking care of dadiji since a whole year, and thought to do that herself.

"dadiji aap aram kijiya, mai abhi garam tel lati hu" she said and walked to kitchen and warmed some oil on kerosene stove as wood one was out of her reach.

Maan marched in his room to and fro as he wondered where geet is. Whole day she hadn't came to see him. For god sake, he was angry here, and she should be trying to manaofy here, and here she hadn't even gave him a glance. Meri to parvah hi nhi hai use. Abhi bhi nhi ayi puchne ki maan apka hath kaisa hai. He looked down at his wrist which had a now bluish swollen mark where she bit him, she has sharp canines, he could gather from the after effects.

He looked at his watch and found it was 11:30 and she hadn't came back. Sighing he laid down on the bed, leaving enough space for her still waiting for her to come.

"dadiji ab kaisa hai apka dard" geet asked as she massaged her swollen legs softly. "its better now bte, aap bhi jaiye bhut raat ho gyi hai. Hum bhi sone jar he hai" said dadi closing her eyes. Geet covered dadi properly and closed the curtains, so that sunlight not disturb her in morning and then went toward her room which was just opposite to dadiji's.

she went inside the dark room, and stumbled as a stool hit her toe. She winced lightly and stood straight, as she adjusted the lantern to make the room bright and found maan fast asleep on bed. She went near him and looked at the time in his watch, 12:30 am, it had been quiet late today she thought and then looked at his wrist, which had now turned blue due to the mark. She felt her eyes stung with tears hearing him flinch even in sleep due to her hold on his wrist.

She immediately took out a first aid box and applied an antiseptic on it, and a tear drop fell down from her lids on his wound as she remembered how he was acting like a baby two days back due to those injuries on his arms and then she realized, how she had forgot to apply ointment on his arm injuries in these last two days, with the excitement of meeting the family, she forgot his injuries.

She went to his other side and slowly lifted his sleeves to see he had removed the bandages, though the wounds were still there, but they had dried now. She applied some cream on them too. She layd beside him and then thought the incidents in morning. He even slept today without doing applying anything on his wound, she promised herself to act more maturely beside him, not this childish way ever.

When maan woke up, he found bed empty beside hima and looked at his watch to find it only 7 am. "ye itni subah kha gyi", he thought looking around and then he flinched when his left wrist rubbed with the bed cover, making him realize he was angry from her.

He looked at his hand to found the bit mark looking better now, all the swelling had faded and then his eyes fell on the safromycin that was kept on the table beside the bed. Hmm, so madam applied medicine on it last night, but still i am angry for ignoring me whole day.

He walked out only to find whole house silent, he went to his dadi's room and saw she was sleeping peacefully. He went to maa's room and she wasnt there too, kha gye ye dono??? He thought.

He decided to do some exercise and went on terrace to do his martial arts. After an hour around, he saw geet and savitri returning back, both holding two big earthen pots in their hands.

He immediately ran down the stairs and helped them to place the pots on floor. "kha gye the aap dono itni subah and itne bhari matke kyu pakde hai aapne" he asked looking at savitri, as he helped geet place the last matka on floor. He got really worried realizing those pots werent less than 3 kg each.

"we had gone to fill water for the day from the next village." said savitri as she sat down on the chair. "what from the next village, its around 10 km far" he exclaimed and then looked at geet who seemed too tired. Even savitri was tired too, it do explained the reason for their condition.

"bete thats a regular thing for people of this village. Roz subah suraj ugte hi sari aurten 10 km door pani bharti hai taki din bhar wo kaam chala sake apna. Aj geet ko bhi mai le gyi thi meri madat ke liye"

She looked at geet who was very tired." geet aap hayiye aur fresh ho jayiye, aap kafi tired lag rhi hai" geet nodded and went inside. Maan decided to spent sometime with his mom, feeling very bad for the hardships she is facing at this age. She was also 45+, at this age he should be giving her all luxuries and here she is doing so much hardwork for the family while he lived a luxurious life in mumbai.

Geet was getting ready when maan came inside the room. "maan" she called him, trying to ask him about his wrist, but he just ignored her. "i am sorry maan, ab to maaf kardo" she said standing in front of him holding her ears. He was about to go away, but then she again stood in front of him and forwarded her wrist to him, "ye lo aap bhi kat lo mere"

He looked her with a expression as if asking are-you-sure??? She stood there still not even moving away. "theek hai ab tum keh rhi ho to" he said and held her wrist and bent on it immediately making her close her eyes in anticipation of pain. But nothing bit her instead a pair of soft lips brushed her wrist.

She looked at him in wonderment while he just smiled and kissed her wrist. She immediately hugged him in happiness as she realized he wasnt angry, just teasing her. "it was really bad bite na" she asked taking his hand in hers as she looked at the mark which was quiet better now.

"ab teek hai" he said and then said, "i dindt knew you were so strong to lift those heavy pots for 10 km, mai to 5 min me hi thak gya. Tumse to bach ke rehne wala hai" he said while she hit him on chest lightly hearing the teasing in his voice. "tumne mujhe phir mara, am not talking to you again" he said smirking while she just looked at him with anger seeing him like that.

"aap ka to mujhe samaj hi nhi aata, kab gussa aur kab Mazak karte ho. Aap na mujhe paggal kar do ge ek din" she said closing her eyes as she relaxed her tensed mind.

It was again another whole day and this time maan didn't even got a single minute with her in whole day. He had even called her three- four times, but she would always be doing something or another. Whole day he had nothing to do except completing some of him work.

He stood beside the door as he missed her. Even after living under the same roof it was difficult to see her now. He was so used of her roaming around him whole day, following his orders and doing whatever he asked. He used to feel that he had the only right on her, but now the situation is so different. Now he cant even steal a second for him now.

He missed her more, especially after being away from her for those long months and then being even more closer and open to her now, after their union again.

At night again geet came late, so tired and exhausted due to whole day's work and above all that morning water filling work was the most difficult and tiring one. She saw him again lying on bed. She went and lay down beside him. He looked at her yawning badly. He was about to complain for the lack of attention, but then saw her being fats asleep within a second.

He didn't knew what to feel at the moment' to be proud of her to handle so many responsibilities that too without any complain, to complain to her for taking care of his family which was always the first priority in his life or to crib to her for not giving him any attention.

Precap: he hugged geet tightly, hiding his face in her neck as few tear drops fell from his eyes seeping into her neck.

I know guys I was giving deadlines since last days but every time I thought I will complete the update, someone or the other would disturb me. Am really sorry for making you all wait.

in precap it seems maan may tell her that he lost his job or left his job

So so hard life for geet...where is maans father..hw many days maan got leaves from his office...what is his future planning...what is he doing with thoise files...what happened in th nxt maan is crying...

Happy she has accepted them...
