As answer to your note, I will just say that do what you feel is best for the story. If you feel that you cannot do justice to it while writing a few more chapters then write as many chapters as needed to give the story a fuller feel.

Dadi has so many shades to her, doesn't she? With Maan, we have seen her all motherly and protective while with Dev, she is shararti too but at the same time, she doesn't let her motherly side drift away from her amidst Dev's masti khor attitude. I love her the way you've sketched her character.

Dev is going through quite a lot, isn't he? He is experiencing that greying in his personality from the bright hues that he used to be earlier. But his greying is as welcomed as much as his colourful personality is loved.

While on one side, Dev is getting tamer and more efficient, Naintara is mellowing down at a very tiny pace. Well, ek qadam Dev chalega toh ek qadam Naintara bhi toh legi. 😳

I like the transparency Dev has kept with his Dadi yet still keeping from her what he felt was not his secret to disclose. This shows the sincerity in Dev, the person he is underneath the mask of the flamboyant and extavagant Dev Khurana.

With the slow comfort, a sort of camaraderie setting in between the two, it seems like everything is more peaceful around them, like they both are making efforts to make it work for them - professionally of course. I like the fact that he is noticing little things about her though.

Reading about Poonam and what she's had to go through at the hands of her family, what she'd had to suffer just because she was from a rich family and the man she loved wasn't, how lonely she felt after the unfortunate passing of her love, how her love had turned upside down after that and how she had lost her happy life as well as her sanity, it was all so painful. It hurt me when they tortured her for being a widow who they believed had snatched the rich and successful Thakur. I was shuddering by the end of it. She had gone too far as a commodity and as the wife of Chandan Thakur that her daughter suffered as well... Surprisingly though, I don't feel much aversion towards Chandan. He did a heinous act, no doubt about that and I do despise him for that but as far as his relation with Poonam could be seen, it seems like he has been caring towards her. Of course, I can't say if that really was the case or not. I do want to know more about Naintara's relation with her stepfather and the way he treated her. Like Poonam, I don't believe the story that Brij has told about Naintara fleeing since that clearly is not the truth. What I wondered about was, how much efforts did Poonam do to find her daughter. Did she try to get her back? I really want Naintara to reunite with her mother at least. I want them to confront each other and Poonam to know the truth rather than having a third person's story which she doesn't believe in.

Hoping to read more of Naintara's past but more than eager for her to start finding happiness with Dev, the happiness she deserves.

And yes, you need not put any note up since I haven't taken such a long time to comment on this one. 😆

Fabulous update Avi!!!

Starting with a brief idea about Savitri Devi's take on Dev-Tara

Just like any guardian who wishes that her children get serious in life and achieve the best and Tara's influence on Dev doing it perfectly👍🏼

Bambi pushing I-star to thank the wolf😉

The upfront, honest and independent Tara thanking him and also returning the money he spent on her medication making her place in his heart unlike the other girls who are crazy for his status and money😕

She knows his favorite food and also doubled the quantity just for him

Aw! so sweet na😳

Dev digging in his fav food and NT watching all

slowly slowly liking entering their life😊

Dadi watching this give and take😉

and very carefully trapping Dev making him own up about the happenings between them the other day

Loved the way Dev honestly confided in Dadi😊

Oh ! God it was so painful

Her Mom suffered so muchTara's Dad expired and she was forced to marry someone so soon and then he forced her and she conceived😭

Her in-laws so inhuman torturing a pregnant woman😡

Tara ran away from this hell and now struggling to make it on her own niche👍🏼

She nearly bumped into her Mom and fled

Her Mom did feel her presence

Dev appalled at her running away without informing

I guess we will get to know Tara's side of story in the next update😳

Avi very well written

Please don't run into finishing this ff for reasons best known

Its a wonderful concept and give it a well deserved end at its own pace

A sincere request from a reader and not a friend😕

Superbly written and perfectly blending the past and present

touches of humour, emotions and then the blow

My lappie is gone to the dogs. Attacked by some Aliens that rule the Net.

I am using a crappy old acer netbook that keeps crashing on me and takes forever to load.

On the other hand, moving into our very own first home YAY!! Packing, cleaning mein busy hoon.

So am not online much between that and work.

Ooo!! Maan giving gulab to Geet. I am intrigued😉

Now for my comment:

Today's chapter was a wonderful insight into Tara and her past, how the parallel's between Chandan and Tara are slowly starting to show... a lot more lies beneath each of these 4 characters, and I love how you slowly explore them all with every update

Generally, on the FF as a whole - I love it! 😃 I actually really enjoy the parallel stories of MG and DT, it's refreshing to switch from couple to couple and see how their stories contrast, I've enjoyed Dev and his i-Star as much as Maan and his sweetheart Geet.

Speaking of which, I have to give a special mention to Maan - the way you've portrayed how he falls in love with Geet melts my heart! I get little butterflies whenever I read about how he admires her and is so engrossed in everything she does, the romantic side to Maan is adorable! Can I bottle him up for myself 😆

The Locket is fast becoming one of my all time favourites, update soon because now that I'm free I'll be stalking all day everyday until you do!
