The answer to the questioning title - in my opinion - is yes and no. Like every single thing in this world, eavesdropping has its pros and cons. The pros may not be as many as the cons but they are still there, and that has been shown in this chapter. When Maan accidentally eavesdrops Sujal and his wife's conversation, it makes him think about his own love in a different way, in a broader light.

The shawl folding scene reminded me of the sari folding scene of the show. 😳

I noticed too, what Geet noticed and took offense over. That Maan introduced himself exactly the same way that Geet had introduced herself. The only difference between her reaction and mine was that her reaction was typically Geet (😆) and mine was 'waah! Dil ka rishta hai jo dono ne ek hi tarhan apna introduction diya!' 😳

Maan and Dadi's bonding is sweet to witness. She treats her with all the tenderness for the shy and less talkative guy he is, whereas for Dev, she is as tricky and naughty as Dev is flamboyant and flirty. Him hiding the last picture made me curious and I was grinning when I realised he actually saw her in that dreamy moment of hers! 😳

DQ has a new meaning and I'll warn you Avi, that you have a username on the same lines! 😆

I did feel a little irritated (not very much, though!) with Pinky as she never let Maan say 'Hi' to Geet. 😳 But just like Maan overheard them and witnessed the real bond they shared, and he couldn't dislike her anymore, I too couldn't keep the irritation up. How can Geet's happiness be begrudged by us?

By the way, I still love SRK, unlike Maan! 😆

I loved Maan inspecting his abs in the mirror and telling himself that it's only for health reasons and not for the obvious reasons! 😆 And yes, stubble is lucky for him. Kya pata kab kya ho? 😳

I felt bad for Sujal and angry at his wife. People like her notice what the neighbour did to please his wife but never give thought into what their own husband has done and how much love he has put into it all! Pitiable! Poor Sujal! I like his thinking though, the persistence he has in him to take one blow after another on his love and still wish to wait for his wife to love him the way he does.

Just like I've said, this eavesdropping has a benefit for Maan since he got to have a profound conversation with Sujal and even think about his own love and what the future could hold for him and his love.

Ek line, sirf ek line!! It was enough for me to sigh happily! "Pehen lo, warna pehna doonga." Only Maan has the power to have such an effect with the least words! 😳

I thank Ms. Iyer for being so strictly punctual and letting the two slow-mos have some moments by themselves. Not going to tell my reaction when he carried her up and she felt his heart and his stubble scraped her. You probably already know it! ☺️

Oh yes, a special mention to the trust she showed in him and her acceptance of the fact that her SRK is here! 😃

I really like the song you used in here. Loved everything about this chapter Avi! Thanks for updating! 🤗

For this update the title is a doubled edged sword for me ... with no particular correct or rightful answer to it. 😊

Firstly thanks a ton for updating such a long part & that too so many dreamy scenes incorporated... I had a foolish grin throughout reading it. 😃 Relived so many of GHSP moments once again here with a Avi tadka in it. Lovely!

The best ever B'day for him. With so much to cherish, long, and treasure. A canvas of memoirs that will be deeply imprinted in his mind forever.

The shawl folding in the small space of the bus was so practical & synchronous for them both very reflective of the sync they will be in future when everything sorts out. A fine tuning is present since now itself even though they do behave a little off track sometimes. Geet madam took offence on how he addressed her, waah bhai waah madam ji baat na kare toh problem baat kare toh bhi galat matlab nikala. See Maan & I think on same lines. " Jo samjhna hai woh bilkul nahi samjhegi aur jo hai nahi usse sach samjhegi..." 😆 And then the so famous... Yeh ladki mujhe pagak kar degi... Hayee... 😳

Daadi's attitude towards Maan is so soft I can never imagine her to be the same naughty smarty Daadi when she's with Dev. But then I guess its got to do with how these two brothers though twins yet are different. Daadi's pouting on Maan straight away sitting with his computer on his arrival reminded me of my Mom ... as she too keeps telling me so. 😳

Maan and the romantic & dreamer side of him when he saves the last pic as his screen saver just because it had the carefree happy shadow of Geet was making me go all 😳 Haaye... he even treasures her shadow. Its blessed to be loved so devotedly by someone. Geet is indeed lucky!

Pinky the 5 foot obstacle 🤣 How do you come up with such stuff? Anyways what I adored his persistence to keep approaching Geet even after failed attempts. Also the change in him on realizing that Pinky is like a sister to Geet how he thought of not disliking her. Just for Geet. Man he is so good & has completely lost in love. The sing then over there was so bang on! I cherished the song so much it was in so much in sync with the whole scene & devotion Maan has in his love. Another thing DQ ... you gave a new full form to it.. 😆 Waah ji waah khud ke liye bahut saare naam dhunde jaa rahe hai... 😉 And I too support Maan in his dislike towards SRK.

This Maan try as much I feel so good about him, trying hard not to fall for him. he's such a unique & to be treasured, if I think more about him then I want be able to let him go. What a slowly growing but deep character you have carved for Maan here. Him checking out his physique & wanting to work out just for healthy reasons had me smiling. And also feeling stubble was lucky for him. I agree as I like Maan with a stubble.

The B'day party was good brought into notice a lot many things. Sujal and his wife have a different & difficult equation. And there are many couples who do face these situations in their life. Many of them can't see their own goodness & blessings as they're blinded by the outer shine of others so much so that they loose out on their reasons of happiness destroying them a lot more.

Sujal's advice was very contrasting to that of Aisha ...but the connecting link was that both gave him an aspect of love that needs to explored, both are practical & real and broaden his perspective.

Hayee what should I speak of the bike ride. ☺️ Mujhe toh bahut zyada khushi hui ji. And that line "pehen lo watna pehna doonga." I was like pehna do na... The right he showed was like so good. 👍🏼 Maan ki Geet hai na. 😉

Then the hostel scene .. where he was on the mission Geet ki safety was so excellent. I don't; want to comment and spoil it. It so too good for me to add words to it. 😳

Mayyo tera me kya karu Maan khidki ke bhaar tha aur tune use dekhne ka mauka golden chance gava diya... tujhe nahi dekhna tha toh tere twinnie ko toh bataa sakti thi na...

Me dekhti zaror aur us perfect picture of Geet in Maan's arms moment ko ek camera mein ked kar deti... 😳
