The Downpour... Part 12

With the end of interference of unwanted faces Maan turned back and started search for Geet. Everything in home was muddled and disordered. His heart sunk looking this. It filled with fears of unforeseen but he tried to keep himself composed. Without seeing her he was going restless and frantic, in anticipation. He thought to call her name then left this thought, thinking what if another men would be hidden somewhere inside!!

He was taking steps very steadily and reached to her room, did not find her there also. He was returning back when his eyes fell on a figure that was trying to hide behind bed.

As he took small steps that figure moved back and then he heard faded whimper of a female.

"Geet!!'

Shockingly he hastened there and found her!!!

His heart became liquid seeing her cuddling in her own embrace, feebly. Her face was hidden between knees and she was crying. Maan sat near her and tried to hold her when she moved back and pushed his hand in jerk. She was highly scared that Maan could see. Her body was shuddering violently.

"Geet look at me, you don't need to be afraid, it's me!! You know me I'm Maan!!!!!''

But she was in shock, did not respond normally and was skidding back. Her eyes had violent fear that hurt him. He raised hand to stop her but she jerked him aggressively.

"GEET listen me damnit I'm Maan!!!! Look at me .. see me once!!!!!''

His anxiety turned into irritability when saw her scaring, escaping away from him. He forcefully held her, tried to take in arms to sooth her suffering but that terrorized her more. She knew who he was and his emphatic act made her alarmed even more!

"Leave me leave me just leave me!!!!!!''

She pushed him strongly and stood up, started to run away but Maan clutched her arms and jolted to him.

"Look at me Geet' see me!!!!! Why the hell you're scaring of me!!!!''

He clutched her chin firmly and forcefully made to look him. Geet struggled, battled back but this time Maan had became insane.

"Are you alright??? Who were they Geet' what they did with you .. did they hurt you!!!''

He was mystified with his own behavior. One side he was disappointed with her strange behavior and at another, was impatiently curious to know that ' if she was okay!'

He wanted to shout her, yell on her that "why is she so sacred of him' but then he wanted her to be calm, wanted to console her but her opposite, aggressive response was confounding him.

Geet was opposing wildly. She was screaming loud that in consequence, Maan had to clutch her both arms with his one and twisted it on her back. He brought her dangerously near him. Her body was touching his therefore his breathes were falling on her face.

"Choryie mujhe'. just leave me'. its paining!!!'

She cried helplessly and then Maan realized that in his anger how he was hurting her. Instantly he left her but did not let her go. Her hand was still in his clutch that she was wringing furiously but Maan was silently letting her do it and when he found her getting weaker in jolt he pulled to him that she bumped against his chest.

He held her chin and made her look him. He saw her eyes were filled with hatred and she was still scared "But why!!!''

"Why so much hatred Geet!!!' he asked becoming discomposed. Geet looked his eyes. Though she was scared and terrified but this time an unknown pull was keeping her silent in front of him. She did not take any move. Just remained there staring him. Seemed her mind and body had become numb due to suffering since long and now they were gaining rest here.

"But how it can be possible???' She thought.

"Tell Geet are you alright!!! Did they hurt you, tell me everything Geet I'll not let them leave in peace!!!!!''

"Why are you worrying for me now? It was you who had hurt me when I was living my life peacefully. You ruined my peace, my life for a whole year and now, came here asking why I fear you?????''

Finally she answered back. Maan drew back and became baffled with her answer. He could not understand even a word what she said and kept looking her bemused when they heard door unlocking sound. Maan attention got disturbed and getting chance Geet bite his hand and run away in her room and locked door from inside.

"Geet!!!!'' Asha entered running. She stopped when saw Maan.

"Maan sir, you here??''

Maan already perplexed mind couldn't search for any genuine reply when Asha asked for Geet.

"How is she sir where is she??? Who're they both men!!!!''

"She is fine'' Saying he left. He had to think over many things that was confusing his mind forcibly. He did not feel like coming back office so left for meeting.

In flat,

"Thank God sir did not question me more!!!'

As she was inhaling relaxing breathe her phone rang. In very first ring she took it and runs in her room, locked door so not Geet could hear her. It was from her friend who was the one from both strangers who had threatened Geet!!!! They said work had been done successfully.

"Thanks Neel!!!!' Asha smirked happily. "Thank you so much for helping me''

"Ash yaar but why did you say not to touch her!!! You can't even imagine how difficult it was not to even touch her!!! She was beautiful yaar I'm still not able to keep her away from my mind!!'

"Don't be upset dear you've done great job. Now no way she would be able to return back her home and you never know, when you can get your chance!!!!!''

Both laughed. After few talks they hung up.

"Today I'm so happy. Now Geet cannot be back home and anyway she would have to work in KC''

She went to Geet room and knocked it. Geet came running and hugged her tight. They cried out loud.

After consoling Geet Asha asked what had happened. Geet said that two men came and threatened her to be quiet showing gun. They searched for money and every single coin and expensive things had been theft.

"Now what would we do Asha!!! I'm sorry I could not keep your house safe. Because of me that happened. I was stupid to let them come inside Ash I should have thought before opening door. Please forgive me''

Geet was in guilt. She was worried that not a single thing was left. They had nothing left that could have been survived further nor did she want to leave her friend in this crisis and go. She had been hopeless.

Precap : Maan finds Asha in disco.. drunk. He becomes restless thinking that Geet would be alone in home..
