The scholarship and the whole revelation of the betrayal towards her was well brought out. Very sensitively dealt with it. It meant so much to her. What I observed was that both Arjun & the principal did have the same opinion on why must be Geet not so keen for the scholarship. Yet the intensity of hurt she felt differed with both, for Mr. Sahay she didn't feel anything as he didn't mean anything to her & also he didn't know anything of her attachment with her father & her need to get this scholarship. Whereas when the same view was put forward by Arjun... it took a different meaning for her. As she was already misled and also because he meant the world to her. The whole revelation was like the ripped band aid. She had with so much difficulty let go of it all & placed blind trust in him and it was all open wound for her all over again with the third person revelation.
Yet she kept Mum, didn't doubt him impulsively, she held onto the thin thread of trust & belief on him as she gave her whole self to him uninhibited. The whole pain was well portrayed.
..."This was the only man she had trusted. Blindly. Dreamed to have a future with, marry him, have a family, have kids, grow old. Only God knows the dreams were endless... " 👏
A girl believing so deep of it all, just speaks of how much of self & more she has invested in a relation. No girl can go so ahead and then take the pain & hurt. Inspite of all the pointed fingers at him she yet trusted him wanted him to be for her wholly & soulfully. Her plead was so touching...Please say no, I will believe every word you say. I promise Arjun. Oh my this was so painful because I knew all her hope & trust will be brutally be broken.
Maan though throughout the update i so wanted to blame him & curse him yet few moments were such that I just couldn't hate him. I felt for his pain too. Especially that line "Lo beta khush hone chale the na ... lo ho ab... " Though ti was a taunt to self & very lighter yet it spoke of his pain. He had wanted to leave it all behind and wanted to give them both a chance together but then it wasn't meant to be so. There was so much of his self being cut there. A mockery he was doing of self. Also how he perceived that Vikas without even entering his "Home" broke it in pieces. He had already in his mind build a home with her, he named it as home and not a relation. 👏 And then came the part where I really couldn't make myself to hate him, when he had that tear in his eyes reciprocal to the satisfaction of raw boated ego on Vikas's face.
The slap and its consequences will be very harsh I suppose.
The whole scene of Geet breaking down in Su's arms in referral of 'Baby' was very painful & kudos to you to portray it so well. The numbness & vulnerability was so contrast to her real self, that a person who wouldn't taken anyone's nonsense towards her was ready to do anything that would be dictated to her.
I had thought Su would react sensibly but then Vikas has made Arjun to be in such light that none of them are actually seeing but are blindfolded by the frame Vikas has put in front of them.
Vikas the less spoken the better. Sometimes the fire of youth takes you to such pedestal that you fail to notice what are you actions speaking of. You blame Arjun of two timing when you know it isn't so and also know that you can't point fingers when you are worst in that context.
I think things will be more complicated with involvement of it all. And also Dev is coming soon. Dia too is there in this whole equation. Will she defend Arjun and clear it out to Geet or she will take it for her advantage. ????
I somewhere feel the strong & real Geet won't resort to taking her revenge by complaining such lowly of Arjun. Whatever done such accusation is wrong. And if Geet does it then who will ever support a girl when it is real & not fake as such.
