Geet hummed the song while making dinner for arjun . dancing around the kitchen lost in her tune ..

Arjun , who stood in front of his wardrobe could hear her humming a casual song from a old hit movie of shah rukh khan .

she sounded at home.at peace .

He looked back at the thing in his palm .

In it he held his dream .

making geet mine..

the ruby smiled at him .

that day when he had geet in his arms , and they took the plunge over the limit of physical nearness , he had a sudden urge of not letting her go , let go of himself and take her within .he couldnt bear to let go of her even for a moment . .

so he had decided to go to Kanpur , to buy a ring . something by which he can claim her . he needed to . living in two personality was becoming a burden to him .

the physical proximity broke his control each time a little bit more. she needed more to hold on . she needed to know he was hers .

he hadn't thought over , just in the drive to make her his , he decided to propose her . when he had thought that . he hadn't thought that he was not maan . its surely becoming confusing to himself who he is .

like today , when geet had asked what he was doing here , when he couldn't be teaching in any university like Harvard or Princeton or yale for that matter . the reply was blurted before he could understand what he was saying . thank god that she misinterpreted that he was teasing her .

he needed to tell her the truth before its too late .

he needed to tell her about the scholarship .at least .

what is that ?

the voice startled him . quickly recovering he shut the lid and pushed the box behind the clothes .

nothing ..its nothing .geet I wanted to tell you something .

but I saw something . geet neared him putting the tray on the side table .

something red.

The tension was wrecking his nerves .

The dinner's ready . I m gonna go . got to study for the finals .

With that she had left making arjun stand in the middle of the room , with a very important information on the tip of his tongue.

Geet pressed the temple by the thumb and the index while walking towards the magnanimous library building their college had . its just the morning but she could see a headache was on its way .she had gotten up early this morning . after that she had decided to study . last night the little fight with arjun had made her mood sour , but she had decided to channel her energy towards mugging . she had studied five long hours till 11 o clock .then when she was scrambling through her notes to get a particular one ,she couldn't find it . so she decided to visit the library and make the note herself again ..

Upon entering the library she walked around the corner to cross the study tables to reach the book shelves . as soon as she walked in she found a pair of transcendent honey brown eyes staring right at her . when their eyes met she felt thousand butterflies in stomach at the intensive gaze it held . Trying to calm down the erratic breaths she walked past him and reached the desired bookshelf, plastering a nonchalance on her face .even though she couldn't do anything about the flushed cheeks upon feeling the heated gaze on herself.

However she managed to walk past , that's all it matters , she told herself and started searching for the exact book she was looking for . there it was .up in there .

The book she wanted situated quite a bit higher than her reach . she jumped but even then it wasn't enough . suddenly a long sculpted arm appeared from her back to reach for the book.the cologne nd a musky manly smell hit her like a blast .

Oh hell she could recognize this intoxicating woody scent blindfolded . the arm was touching every part of her bare extended hand that was awkwardly fixed on the mid air .she cursed herself for wearing this yellow sleeveless salwar suit today . . she could feel every muscle movement on his rock hard abs as he tip toed and grabbed the book for her. .his body leaning on her as he held the book and pulled out easily like the height didn't even matter. his closeness allover her was creating havoc on her senses .

Too stunned to react she stood static. Goosebumps all over ,blood pounding in her ears . she hated her body to react such stupidly with every contact he made. Thus he wins . every time .

Mumbling a thanks she was about to dash out from there when he pulled her behind a self , a bit shadowy side of the library .

Remember here ? he spoke huskily in her ear .his breath fanning her hairs . teasing the sensitive spot . geet could swear he knew them all..

Of course she does. it is not a very few days before a quiet discussion here had turned into a hot make out session . she had got the first hickey of her life. How could she even forget . she blushed and tried not to grin stupidly when her eyes caught a glance of him .

Having her finger in his mouth she stared at him , pupils dilated as her rose bud mouth opened in an adorable "O".

God ! that was damn sexy .

Arjunn ..! she mumbled as he let go of her finger .

Hmm' ? he replied pulling her closer into a tender embrace . her head tucked under his chin

how well she fitted there . he wondered

Lesion learned , she would never dare to wiggle her finger at him . neither she could feign anger after such a hot moment .

Goutam Buddha Mahabidyalaya was college of students of rich people . every student came here from affluent family .

When it was first formed it used to be the best in uttarpradesh . founded by some rich businessmen. few members of the famous intellectual bramhasamaj and few benevolent persons like Uday raichanda took special interest in its education level . but as time passed by , it stood only being a reflection of golden past , dust had covered the edge .

Students like vikas yash roshni aliya sunanda zaria , they came from all rich families . education came second to them . even if they did good in studies , they didn't have the tenacity to pursue it further. After passing out most of the girls were going to get married to a rich conservative family or get into something that doesn't involve much labor . the boys had to run their father's business .only very few of them who had interest on further studies . but only one or two of them had the capability to get in the merit list of the scholarship . let alone getting it .

the amount money was enormous .so the screening was toughest .

Even geet too , didn't take much interest in studies until arjun came along . but all of it what it had seemed to arjun .

What he missed , the personal interest of geet's in Uday Raichanda scholarship . knowing her family arjun had never accounted geet to be interest in it . because he never thought that they would let geet go and pursue for a life outside india . hell they didn't want her to send to Delhi or Kanpur for education .

For last five years , not a single student had been eligible for even the merit list of Uday raichanda scholarship . getting the scholarship had been tough always . but this year only three students had been interested about the scholarship . among them only one had been proved eligible till date , that's dia .

only dia and geet got marks above 80 % in third semester exam. But arjun hadn't counted geet as she never expressed any interest in it .

The other two students one aliya (diya's friend and the girl geet saw with her in arjun's chamber ) and another Pravjot both of them had scored around 75 % or so . so them getting in the merit list was very unlikely . though arjun had helped aliya along with dia for the exams , Pravjot hadn't been interested taking help from him .so arjun helped dia to prepare with the exams notes and finally the viva . which added points to her resume . but the final merit list will be decided only after the result of final exam of fourth semester .

When it came to geet , she never bothered for any praise or prizes for what she does . she had all her interest in the non educational activities like politics , cultural programs , organizing events and all this . she was more of a people person . she had been encouraged to do so by her grand father from a very young age .

But she had a bright and sharp intellect . so what good result she did in the exams it came automatically . without any special effort from her . when the whole college was behind arjun for a little "help" . arjun had to run after her to help her .

hence arjun made a mistake judging her interest in the scholarship .

now he hopes he could rectify it before it comes in between them.

Geet pressed the temple between the thumb and the index wanting to get a little relief from the awful headache she was having . Its been a long day . she is stuck in the union room for last three hours . still there is no sign of ending it soon . in front of her lay papers, bills. Catalogs log . books and what not .

The whole room is full with members . there were some problems with the monthly budget meeting. So a heated discussion was going on .

Geet vaguely remembered she had promised to see arjun two hours ago . at that time a peon approached her and informed the principal wanted to meet her.

She frowned but nodded anyways .

Asking vikas to look after the rest of the situation until she gets back from the principal's chamber she walked out from the room .

The air seemed awfully stagnant today.like the calmness that remains before the impending storm . she shrugged and walked faster towards Mr sahay's chamber . the soon this gets over the soon she can get back to arjun .

oh how badly she wanted to be pampered by him now .

Sir . .she knocked on the door asking permission , the principle waved her in .

So , I here you are arranging for a huge farewell party to the final year students .

Well I had contacted him myself but he can not come down here at this moment . and since the final year exam is going on I cant leave the college myself too . so as a remedy Mr raichanda suggested someone named Dev would meet you and take the papers from you to give him . he will arrange returning them himself .

Dev ? she muttered staring at Mr Sahay with her mouth agape .

Better late than never . here . fill up the forms . principal handed her a bunch of forms . which she filled mechanically .Submitting the papers she collected the file and walked out of that room . she needed air. She needed to breathe .

Geet surprised looked back at her , she had never seen sunanda this serious ever before . her whole form alarmed trouble .

She closed the file and moved towards her .

After finishing the meeting vikas had met zaria and both of the went to a restaurant for a date . from there they had decided to spend some "quality time" upon vikas's insistence towards the bank of River ganges , a small ghat was there where the love couples sometimes go for unhindered make outs .

Then one thing led to another , they ended up kissing heatedly , hands every where . lost in the flow Vikas had bit zaria on her nape but instantly zaria became frantic about it .

What did you do ? oh god . sunanda will kill me.. I have turned into geet too . god . she muttered rubbing the area had turned red . due to her rubbing that red area turned more red but vikas was not paying attention to that either .

What ? geet ? I don't understand . vikas commented not getting head and tails of it .

Yeah . she is the one comes back with lot of hickeys .. zaria giggled as she remembered how sunanda had asked her about it and she turned red like a tomato .

A few days ago , vikas went to Kanpur for a personal reason . a reason so personal that he couldn't inform his so called girl-friend . actually he had a fiancee staying at Kanpur. The one his family had chosen . but after geet had played that prank on him that her being in love with him . . he had been very curt to that girl thinking he is going catch a bigger fish .

Apparently the marriage was fixed as a rapport between two political leaders . it was a mere business arrangement . now the girl who had no reason to take his crap , has called off the marriage . his father had taken that rough on him . vikas hadn't bothered much back then .

But as it turned out , how stupid he had been , even after the hot dance geet and him had shared . he had been repenting ever since.

Losing both sides wasn't what he had planned . hence a visit to her house had been a plan of damage control .

He wasn't there to follow arjun and dia . but arriving kanpur by the same train at 1 pm that day , he had found them at the station . curiosity got the best of him , so he followed . he knew that they did nothing wrong , because he was following them the whole day .actually they were hardly together before 8 pm when he had seen them entering and exiting the hotel within fifteen minutes . before that dia had entered into an office building when quite a few blocks away arjun was window-shopping a jewelry shop for hours. oddly staring at it . . come on man , who does that ? arjun wasn't any woman !!

He has got some serous issues vikas had decided .

standing there lurking behind him for 1 hour or so vikas had decided to leave him alone for his own sanity and decided to lurk around dia , who was busy meeting some boring people .

Anyhow he just followed them back to hotel and then within 10 minutes they had checked out . he was pretty sure they didn't do any thing sort of "that" because of their body language . arjun seemed pretty lost in himself hardly aware of dia around him . they were together but they weren't either.

Vikas had always known arjun was weird . after kanpur he was sure of it . who brings a girl to a hotel and don't f**k her ?stares oddly at a jewelry shop for hours ?

Whatever!! but vikas knew every information is important . so he kept this to himself . not even knowing how important it proved to himself .

So he hatched a plan .

Zaria and vikas sat awkwardly facing two empty chairs . like they were waiting for some drama to happen . zaria had a very odd expression on her face . geet looked back and sunanda's face mirrored zaria's .

All of a sudden geet had a very bad feelings about it .

Vikas ? what are you doing here ? her voice hadn't been polite

Sit down geet .. zaria quietly said . geet was about to retort back when she found sunanda is taking the chair beside zaria .

What is going on sunanda ?

Sunanda looked at zaria not wanting to start in herself .

Zaria looked at vikas . eying him to start talking .

will somebody care to tell me what is going on in here ? she yelled losing patience . still standing defiantly with hands on her hips .

dia has slept with arjun sir ! sunanda stated in a low voice .

She was about to fall on her face on the vomit when sunanda and zaria caught her .

Arjun , who was waiting for last 7 hours for her to show up was furious .he had tried calling her mobile .it came switched off .

As the specific knock he heard in the door he bolted out to give her a piece of his mind .

But when he opened the door , he frowned .

She looked sick , really sick .

Geet didn't respond , neither she pried off his hands .

She kept chanting in her mind ..

Arjun felt tears stung in corner of eyes . looking at her , this broken , begging at him was suffocating .

Only vikas stood at the threshold , not even crossing it ,stood with a lewd smile on his face . eyes glazing with cruelty .

she started to worry after one hour when geet sat like that , not uttering a syllable . not moving , not responding .she just stared blank ahead .

Sunanda couldn't feel what she was thinking , because her eyes , the doe shaped eyes that used to talk volumes , dance in mirth , hurt in pain had been turned in to glass . hazy .

Like she was dead .

Sunanda noticed she had dried blood on her chin that was on opposite side she was seated . her lips had turned blue and the lower lip had a bad swelling .she was about to wipe off the blood when vikas caught her hand .

Sunanda looked up confused at him , not knowing what so wrong she did .

We are going to principal . we cant let that bas***d get away with this .

lt was heart wrenching 😭😭 & the worst sufferer will be Geet herself . No words coming after anticipating the outcome of Geet's allegation & some how l feel Geet was not in love with Arjun & it was just infatuation which she mistook for love.
