I love this story so much. Thank you for giving me a flawed Geet cos I was so tired n also kinda bored reading the same "angel" n selfless Geet in every second story that I read in our forum. This story came as breath of fresh air to me.
I loved to hate this Geet. She was so selfish n egoist, ego bigger than Mt.Everest probably. I felt like hitting her every time she insulted n humiliated Maan n his parents. She was so full of herself n self centered. Only bothering about her pain, hurt and her status n image n showing others down whenever she got the chance. I really really hated her. Her dad was really wrong to fool Maan like that n give a pic of hers who was complete opposite of The Geet Handa.
My heart really went for Maan. The way he gulped down every insult by Geet really made me feel terrible. I wish he wasnt this spineless n had the guts to tell her off but guess he loved her too much. And this type of love where one has to only give n take all humiliation makes me strongly feel the other one just doesnt deserve such selfless love. Geet was lucky she got someone like Maan who loved her beyond everything but she was unfortunate to not value such love n give pain to everyone including her own self.
But what I loved most about this story was that Maan dint sulk or cry over his unsuccessful marriage rather he made his name in business world n got on top. He was a self made man n I admire him for that. But yes I hated that for this business he had to give up on his dream football. For that I do blame his father too. Wish his father had at least understand him n knew where his son's heart was. But despite everything Maan loved his parents unconditionally n with no complaints. He was really a darling in this.
Compare to what Geet did to Maan her redeemtion was really easy. Maan forgave her way too early. The kind of pain she gave Maan n his parents she way back to their hearts was easy. But the thing I liked about the changed Geet was she was determined to make her place in their heart n tried her level best. Unlike Maan who went into a shell after seeing Geet's real face, she dint kept quite after Maan tried to keep her away from him in office, in fact she fought for her love n her marriage. For that I would really appreciate her cos she tried even after failing so many times in her attempts. Maan did gave her a tough time after she realized the biggest mistake she committed and I loved that Maan.
I also admire his parents. They too were heart broken by Geet's behavior but they too forgave Geet so easily n also helped her to win Maan back.
I did cried quite a many times while reading this story. Loved the characterization n describtion of every scene. Loved n enjoyed the writing of this story way too much. Specially cos Geet's character was so different n not the same one that I read in most of the stories. So thank you so much for giving me a flawed Geet n no angel.
