Last update was a shock I am aware. But I want to tell you guys that the whatever happened in the stable-the whole night-I will explain, just hang on for a bit😊.

She gave him a surprised look like saying 'how did you know?' in response Maan indicated towards the plate in her hand. She had her 'oh' moment where her cheeks turned red to his mortality. She would kill him one of these days by that deadly blush of hers.
With calculative steps she walked towards the bed n stood mute, immensely nervous he could see sweat forming on her forehead while the AC was running. If you don't want to eat I will take it back. She almost took a U-turn but he held her hand n literally snatched the plate from her hands. First time she brought food for him n he wouldn't eat? It seemed a tiny-miny detail that he was angry from her but when it came to Geet that point was totally irrelevant.
He wondered if he should start his interrogation but then started eat first actually hungry a little. When he looked up it was only to find Geet staring at him with something indescribable in her hazels, she instantly corrected that look though n he couldn't study more to know what it was. You had your dinner?
Haan. She stated n took his plate downstairs like a good wife. She came back then took her pill-just one-without him reminding. He had thought that after their little argument today she would demand to go back to her room n he would have to fight to make her sleep with him but to his utter wonderment she without a word spoken made her pillows n laid on the bed.
Now he was hesitant if he should ask her n ruin the moment. The moment... It was nothing just she brought his dinner n was going to sleep with him without any protest. But it was her acceptance and for Maan it meant the world. He didn't want to fight-if you could call it that-because it actually was him scolding n her crying.
Shall I close the light? She asked n he hmm-ed not saying anything more lest she ran away. She was here only n he was too, he would ask about the last night in the morning.
Even after an hour she was twisting anxiously. Slowly she opened the side lamp n Maan pretended to sleep when she peeked over at his face. Her open hairs tickled his neck n softly her breath robbed him of his. He wondered what the hell she was doing when she lowered her face. Her lips lingered over his cheek, she hesitated a second before placing the smallest kiss, small it may be yet it jolted his entire self. He fisted the sheet, simply to see what else she would do. She laid back this time closer to him. A few minutes passed where the clock ticked like a hammer banging on the hard floor. Maan waited with batted breath.
A cold hand came up resting tentatively on his waist. She slipped it cautiously onto his waist scared of waking him up. Once her hand was wrapped over his waist, she closed her eyes knowing this was as much as she would get.
It didn't take long when she felt movement. Opening her eyes she found herself face to face with Maan. He snaked his muscular arm over her before she could move back. Bina diye sab lena chahti ho, huh Geet?
That felt awkwardly familiar to both of them. She gazed into his eyes embarrassed at being caught. Wriggling in his grip she tried to push him away but unfazed by her weak attempts his eyes were fixed on her slender neck which had the mangalsutra draped around it. His wife, only his n he had every right. It soothed him like chilled water in blazing sun when he finally bent over to his searing desires n kissed her neck. Geet hissed when he moved to her shoulder biting n nipping at her sensitive skin. She did everything to stop the shiver. It wasn't a scary shiver it was good shiver that left you craving for more. Still there was a little fear inside her n hesitation but in that moment when Maan slowly rolled her over her back, settling possessively covering her entire frame like a glove on hand, her mind was too fogged to think anything.
He tore his mouth away from hers. Pulling her up, he removed her kurti then lowered her back on the bed. She moaned as he dragged lazy kisses over her cleavage. Her nipples had already peaked poking his neck n chest. He pulled one cup of her bra down, rubbing his rough cheek over her nipple making is strain painfully yet pleasurably. Arching her back and Lacing her finger into his hair, she tried to position his mouth where she wanted it. But Maan had other plans. He kissed all over her exposed breast but the centre. If in his power he would have prohibited her from wearing bras because the clasp wasn't opening. He looked back to see tears in her eyes. Oh great!! She was scared again. His eyes wandered to her torso and he fought every fiber of his body to not continue from where he left. Cover yourself.
She had totally forgotten about her condition. Quickly she pulled the sheets over her chest n started to get off the bed. Where do you think you are going? He gripped her small wrist n gritted his teeth. Wo meri' meri' She glanced towards the corner. Bra..?? She couldn't have blushed more because her cheeks were already beetroot red. I didn't remove it with so much effort so that you can wear it back. You wear this. He passed her kurti n she though found his demand weird did as told.
For a few fleeting seconds she just stared at him with tears in her eyes n Maan sighed. Are you going to tell me what that was..? He meant the absurd thing that went through his mind just a while ago but how was she supposed to know that. Or why were we in a stable?
Geet shook her head, looking in another direction. I already told you about that. She looked possibly in pain n he let go of the topic n pulled her into him so that they were lying side by side. He stretched his hand over her head n after some reluctance she laid her head on it n very carefully placed her hand on his stomach as though a little more pressure would kill him. He squeezed her more into him so she relaxed n laid comfortably. He didn't get any answers but at least he would be able to get some sleep after all.

Maan tsked with amusement on his face. With all the dark circles n messy hair you can't play the evil cousin, the destitute hobo would suit you much better.

Okay okay. No more mocking n taunting the poor baby. With a smirk Maan continued. How is it going with Shanaya?
It's complicated. Anyways I have something to give you. Shanaya had given me Geet's medical report.

Before Geet's hospitalization.

Look Maan I would have taken all your anger merrily actually it's always amusing to see you all red but not now. It was in your best interest. There no use of giving you these when you, yourself was no less than a zombie. Now excuse me I have to go and sleep.

Now for the first time in the morning, a grin appeared on Rohan's face. You did? What else happened?
I don't remember. He didn't tell him about the weird thing he felt last night, he couldn't exactly place what it was then again even if he had known why would he tell Rohan?

Haan-haan. Failures always have excuses. He muttered n started to leave. By the way I am not handling office anymore. This is supposed to be my vacation. I am sleeping n clubbing, that's all.
Yeah I was going to join back anyways and if the clients saw that look on your face they would run out of their bodies. Rohan glared at his cousin and left.
Maan was actually scared to open the reports. Yesterday night-after the horrible day-surprisingly had been amazing, Geet actually slept with him on her own accord, not just with him, but on his hand. As a result his hand was still sour because he didn't move even a bit but the pain was nothing as compared to the spectacular feeling you get when you do something for the one you love. And the closeness they shared, uff' no wonder he slept like no tomorrow n when woke up Geet wasn't there. He wouldn't let that happen again. Next time he would wake up early before she ran off.
When he read through the file, a rather pointed feeling holed into his chest. He had known that she wasn't well. Dr. Neeraj had told him that her depression was fatal. Maan had thought that he had meant in a health related sense. The report, though, which had Geet medical history said that she had attempted suicide, number of times, didn't he see those scars on her wrist n also when she was blackmailing him with a knife' there was no fear of death in her eyes, there was just madness. She wasn't strong physically either, blood pleasure troubles, deficiency of calcium, migraine'. She was suffering from all these at such a young age.
The report in his hand was a stamp on his earlier decision. He wasn't sure if he would get something or not, because Rajendra would have told him prior only if he wanted/could but he didn't. Still, if he persisted may be he would get to something. There was also Meera, always high n mighty, thinking that she knew it all, but now wasn't the time to worry about these minor details; to know about Geet was his main focus.
