It was morning and Ram and Maan were back in the hospital.Nurse too came and gave sponge bath to dadi and after changing her dress she brought her break fast.It was bland in taste. Dadi refused to eat.
Savitri ji-What is this?It is tasteless.I won't eat it.
Ram-Maa you are heart patient. you can only have this.
Savitri ji -nahin mujhe nahin khana.
Maan-Dadi pls have it iske baad aapko medicines bhi leni hai.
Savitriji-I will have medicines but not this.
Geet came and said-Good morning every one.How are you dadi?
Savitriji-Happily-aa gayi meri Geet.Now she will bring testy food for me. Geet they all are not listening to me. dekho na kitna phika hai.
Geet-Ji. but dadi It's good for u.
Savitriji-Tu bhi inhi ki tarah bol rahi hai.ja main tujhse bhi baat nahin karoongi.
Geet saw every one and found them tensed
maan-(wisphering to Geet)-welcome Geet.Your time starts now.bahut shauk tha na natak karne ka ab bhugto.
he smirked at Geet and she glared at him to make fun of her condition
Savitriji-Geet pls ask the nurse to bring some other tasty food
Geet gulped hard.what she should say ek taraf kua toh ek taraf khai.Kiski baat maane.Dadi ko na bhi nahin kah sakti aur unhen spicy food bhi nahin de sakti.she came slowly to nurse and took the food bowl from her hand and tasted it.
Geet-dadi ye toh theek hai it's not that bad but if u don't like it we will ask for other food. pls bring another food with proper salt.
She blinked at nurse and requested slowly to bring same food again.Nurse went and brought another bowl of same food.
Geet-I will taste it first.
Geet ate some food from that fresh bowl and said-yes,this is perfect.it has proper salt in it.and she filled the spoon and forwarded it near her mouth.
Savitriji tasted it and said again -nahin geet isme bhi taste nahin hai.
Geet-But dadi mujhe toh ye theek lag raha hai. Just now I tasted it. It's perfect I think your taste buds are not working today
Dadi-nahin I know that you are saying it so that i eat the food.I know ki ye khana toh koi jaanwar bhi nahin khaayega.
geet-OK.How will you believe me that Im saying truth.
Savitriji-tum bhi mere saath khao.phir tumhen pata chalega,how tasteless is this food
Maan smiled to see his devil dadi. He knew that she could go to any extant to irritate any one.he smirked at geet as if he was asking -now what.?
Geet saw him if dadi was devil then she was bigger devil.
Geet-alright dadi. if I eat this,you will have to listen to me and do what I say.
dadi-Done.
She was sure that Geet could not eat this phika food.
Geet-achcha boliye aap kaun si bowl ka khana lengi?
dadi signalled to take the second one.
Geet-Aunty aap dadi ko khilaayiye main apna khaati hoon.
priya-par Geet ye toh.
Geet cut her...nahin aunty it's tasty.
Geet started to eat Though it was really bad but dadi ko khilana zaroori tha so she was not showing it.Priya fed maa.though dadi did not like it but had no option as Geet was also eating it with great teste.
Finally both finished the food.
Geet-How was the food dadi. wasn't that tasty?.
Savitriji pouted-yes it was tasty
Geet- so dadi you saw that I finished the food.and you lost your bet,ab aap wahi karengi jo main kahoongi
Savitriji-(pouting) do I have an option? kaho
Geet-ab se aap apna khana time par khayengi aur bina shikayat ke.Dadi we all need you.Hum sabke liye.Dekhiye sabko, sab kitne khush hain aapko khate hue dekh kar.Pls dadi.
Dadi ask her to come and sit near her.she kept her hand on Geet's face and kissed her forehead too and said-I know that the food was blend but you ate only for me.I m sorry to make you eat that food.
Geet-nahin dadi.aap ko toh roz yahi khana hai .maine ek din khaya toh kya hua.but you promise me to get well soon.so you will have to eat this only.
Dadi smiled and hugged geet with lot's of love.All were relieved that food problem was solved permanently.but were surprised too-Dadi/maa and sorry?
Savitrij-Why all are you looking me like this? Do I have two horns on my head?
Ram-I think you are right maa.today you surely have two horns on your head.Aap aur sorry?
Savitri ji smiled and blinked at Ram-Main aisi hi hoon
Dadi slept after some times and all were talking outside of the room.
Priya-Geet i can't believe ki maa ne khana kha liya.woh bhi chupchaap.and she also said sorry to you.
Geet-What do u mean aunty?
Priya-You know Geet, Maa never says sorry to any one.
Ram-Thank u beta.thank u for every thing
Geet- Lagta hai mujhe chalna chahiye aap nahin chahte ki main yahaan ruk jaaoon.Main ja rahi hoon.
Ram-par kyun?
Geet -Ab aap apni thanku katha shuru kar rahe hai na ialiye.
Ram-Sorry.
Geet-phir se
Ram Kept an invisible zip on his mouth and all laughed.
At lunch hour Geet asked dadi to have food.and she made faces to see the food.
Geet-if you have problem I can eat it with you.
Savitriji-Nahin Geet I will eat this.I know this is best for me.You don't have to eat this food for me.And she ate her lunch peacefully
In the evening Pammi came to see savitri ji and found her fine.
Savitriji-Aapki beti bahut achchi hai.Mere Maan ke liye perfectly fit hai.Y0u are lucky that you gave birth to such a good daughter.
pammi was at short of words and Geet swiftly went out of the room.Maan went behind her and stood beside her. He saw That Geet was wiping her eyes.he held her with her shoulder and turned towards him
Maan-I already said to you that it would not be as not easy to you as you were thinking.You will have to bear more than this.
Geet-koi baat nahin Maan.Daai doesn't know the truth.It's ok.
Maan -if you want you can say no to papa for all this.
Geet-No Maan I have no problem.pahli baat toh ye ki it's needed for dadi and second is that I will do some favor to Sam by this as she needs my help at this crucial time.Ab woh toh aa nahin sakti to mera farz hai ki main uski responsibility share karoon.
Maan-Kabhi sameera ne socha hai tumhare baare mein?
Geet-It all depends on luck Maan.Sabki apni apni kismat hai.Now we should go in.
after some time both came back to room.Geet was under control.pammi saw geet and bent her head.
Priya-pammi ji You are going to attend the beauty contest.When will you go?
Pammi-I m going tomorrow.
Savitriji-where are you going.
Priya-maa inki badi beti beauty contest me hissa le rahi hai.she is going to attend the event.And Pammi ji where is Vicky?
pammi-He is on his school's historical tour he will come after two weeks.
I will also be back with Sameera around that time too.
Priya-Geet tab tak akeli rahegi?
Pammi-Ramu kaka is there he is a responsible person.she will be fine.
Dadi-Hum logon ke hote hue why she will live alone.Geet will stay with us until you are back.
Ram-Actually this is a brillient idea.Geet hamaare saath hi rahegi.Maa bhi khush.kuchh dino ke liye hume bhi beti ka sukh mil jaayega. aur maa bhi control mein rahengi . What say Priya?

Geet-Aunty aapke ghar rahne ki kya zaroorat hai. main dadi se milne aa jaya karoongi.
pammi-Yes Priya ji.Geet is right.
Savitriji-Geet toh hamaari bahu banne hi wali hai toh what's wrong in staying with us.We will take care of her well.You don't worry pammi ji
Pammi saw Maan.Nothing was going on right track for her.
Maan - Maa geet is right.She may not feel comfortable in our home.
Maan was too finding it difficult to see Geet 24 hrs around him.What if he lost his control over his heart.
But Dadi was not ready to leave this opportunity to spend time with geet. She said-It's my order and no one will go against it.
No one could say more now as she was getting hyper, all said-OK
Dadi was happy.Maan was tensed how will he handle this situation.And pammi was thinking the turns that Destiny was taking.She was the only one other than Maan who knew the whole truth.And now nothing was in her hands.She wasn't in the position to say anything and she had to agree for Geet living with them.
