Part 73

Bro!!'

Dev eyes widen witnessing the blazing eyes of Maan who was just targeting on the hold of Dev which was forcefully clutching Geet and she was crying, screaming for to be freed. At once Dev hold weakened and getting this chance Geet pushed his back and runs to Maan and hugged him as tight as like wanted to become his second skin. She was clutching him tight, was clung on his like had got the life after experiencing her death.

Maan arms held her tighter but his eyes were imprisoned only the one person who was stood there in shock and hell fearing. Dev knew that now he had no escape, he had been exposed out and nothing was left hidden in him. The grieve eyes of Maan was so tough to see through. It had anger, fire and unfaith against of his own blood but it was not unexpected though!

"I'm sorry bro' He tried to come near when Geet cried out more in fear. She was much scared with the experience she got just few minutes before and had become almost insane in shock.

"Maan please don't let him come near please he will touch me again I don't want to marry him please Maan!! Please tell him to go away!! Or else.. or else he will snatch me away from you.. I don't want to go with veerji.. he will again send me away from you.. you don't know Maan this man '' She pointed to Dev '' This man wanted me to marry him .. I don't want to marry him Maan!!!! Please tell him to go.. Tell him to..'' and she became unconscious in Maan arms.

Maan held her unconscious body closer became so much worried. He patted her cheek "Geet!!' he called out forgetting everything about Dev.

"Geet!!'' Dev worriedly rushed to her..

"Dare you Dev!!!!!'

He stopped when Maan roared like a wounded lion all shuddering and his voice was enough to give shiver down to Dev all over. Maan furiousness increased seeing Geet unconscious. His mind lost its integrity; he put down her on a wooden bench and accelerated toward Dev. He wrung his neck with his bare hand and wracked his body violently on back wall. With each passing second his grip was becoming pressed and Dev blenched with this sudden outcome from Maan.

"How dare you to touch her!!!!'

Maan body was burning in fire, his entire body was being punished in hell like feeling he was having at the moment. Everything was unexpected for him though everything was real and he was the live witness of it. Nothing could have been worst then seeing his love, his Geet was lying unconscious and the very reason of it was his own brother. He could not believe that Dev could fell this cheap that had schemed to marry his own brother's love, his own sister-in-law. It was the biggest shock for him that couldn't keep any hold on his own act and in reflex; Dev was going to lose his life in any further second.

"Bro you are mistaking everything..' Dev tried to speak but Maan increased pressure of hold. Dev coughed, he battled hard but Maan was enough tough for not to get any move from his place.

"Bro please try to listen me…'

"You have lost the right to speak Dev!!!!! How dare you to even raise your eyes on her!!!!'

Dev had no defense, he knew he was inhaling last breathe and after exhaling it, his life was finished.

"How dare you Dev HOW DARE YOU!!!!!!!'

Maan left his neck and Dev been propelled brutally on floor that his head hit with wall-corner strongly and it started bleeding. He cried out in pain but Maan heart did not melt. How could it when he had already lost his heart after seeing and knowing everything. He felt that someone had abducted out his heart from body and now the place was empty, it was hallow with no emotion but the only thing he could feel, was the desolation, destruction and bare portions of his own desired dreams. Everything was seemed on end.

Maan eyes started to find something, anything that could do end of his suffering and he found a thick rod. He was to finish Dev when Geet cried out in her unconsciousness in fear. She was crying, her entire body was shivering and that knocked in some sense in Maan mind. Without wasting a second he threw rod and rushed to her, took in his embrace.

"Geet you are safe Jaan don't cry!!'' he kissed her face everywhere to get her sense back. Hurriedly he carried her in arms and came out, put in car and drove off to hospital. On way he got call from Dadi and informed her that Geet was found and he was taking her to hospital. Within thirty minutes Geet was being treated in O.T and Dadi reached there to support Maan. She didn't know anything about Dev but when heard Maan talking with Madhav on phone, her face became paler than ever. She couldn't believe that Dev could fall this low. She couldn't believe that he tried to misbehave with Geet.

"Maan it can't be true!'

Maan turned back while talking to see that SD was looking him with dried face.

"Dev—he can't do this !!'

Maan wanted to scream that it was she who hid everything from him. If he would have been told about Dev before, nothing could have happened this wrong' but he controlled his anger. He could see the distressed face of her.

"But he did and what a shame Dadi that everyone knew about it leaving out me!!'

And this was the last sentence she heard from him before going his missing..
