He has hosted two seasons of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. One of them had his brother Ronit Roy as a contestant. And now, it's Rohit Roy's turn to show off his moves in the show. Yes, Rohit is gearing up to be part of the latest season of the dance show as a contestant. He will be entering the show as one of the wild card entrants next weekend.

Says Rohit, "When I got the offer, it didn't take much time for me to say yes. I am not trained but I love dancing because it makes me happy. Even when I used to host the show, I would tell the programming guys to play a song time and again so that I could shake a leg with the contestants." He is looking forward to meeting the judges and contestants on the show, most of whom, he has known since long. "Shaan is a dear friend of mine and I must say I am inspired by his performances.

Even Karanvir (Bohra) is a friend. I know there will be a sense of competition but no one-upmanship, for sure. Among the judges, I have known Karan (Johar) for 18 years. He is the best director and very stylish. What can I say about Madhuri (Dixit). She can still kill with one look," gushes Rohit who will start rehearsing soon.

While he leaves the song selection to his choreographer Suchitra (she was Suresh Menon's partner), he would definitely love to groove to Badtameez Dil (Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani). "It's a high-energy foot-tapping number but performing on that means I will have to dance like Ranbir Kapoor, which is a tall order," he smiles. Rohit had earlier participated in Nach Baliye with his actress wife Mansi Joshi but since then shied away from reality shows except as a host.
