Part 64
Maan smiled when Geet runs and that what Dadi noticed. She felt so happy to see Maan happy but a known fear throbbed her heart that what would happen when Maan comes to know about Dev. Still she was keeping everything hidden excusing that Dev is on office tour but she knew, very soon everything will be come on end and this was the biggest worry she had.
"Dadi!' Maan called when found her lost. SD startled but composed her inner-fright. They sat on bed. Maan was still lost in Geets memories.
''Maan, you looks good when smile. Always keep smiling Beta' SD was very much overwhelmed looking her tough grandson smiling and happy. It was like her wish was coming on reality. She caressed his cheek and blessed.
''Dadima my smile and happiness come only when my family has smile on their face. You, Dev and now Geet, you all make me complete and thus you all would have to be happy if you want me to do same'
"I know Beta but sometime it can't be happened'
Maan wondered. Something bothered him in Dadi words.
"Matlab!'
"Kuch nahi Maan i was just saying usual fact' SD tried brushing off this talk.
"Maan I had called Panditji to find out any suitable date for marriage and he gave two dates. I had come to ask you which one would be best for you both?''
Maan was quite surprised as why suddenly Dadi wanted to get them married. He guessed it may be because these days their relation became quite private and intimate so she had to take this decision. "But Dadi what's need of hurrying up for all this. I mean if you have problem because of our.. I mean I and Geet..'. He couldn't voice out his uncertain thoughts.
"No Beta there is nothing that I have problem with your spending much time together. But just think as it's my wish to see you both together as soon possible and then I could play with my small-small grand-children so soon.'' She diverted Maan questioning mind with her talks but in heart she feared for those past incidents which could come out at any moment and she doesn't want to be affected Maan and Geet relation because of it. And for this, their relation should have a name which was hidden till now. She knew as Maan would start to resume office, nothing would be hidden about Dev and so she tried to fix marriage date in recent week only.
Maan smiled with hearing children name and his mind forgot his every doubt. Dadi told him dates, one was in coming week and next one was after a month. Though Dadi gave heed for next coming one but Maan went for after a month.
"But Maan everything can be arranged within a week also..'
"I know Dadi. But I want this marriage to be special for everyone, especially for Geet'
He stood up and went to window where backyard could be seen. There he saw Geet who was talking with gardener. She was looking very happy that Maan couldn't keep himself aside to smile.
"Dadima our marriage happened in such condition that neither I nor Geet could understand anything. I know I had no wish for it but Geet, she had many dreams which became shattered like pearls fall down being apart from its string. Her every dream every wish is a precious pearl for me and I want them to be gathered in a single place, not to be apart from her life ever. I want she get every happiness of her marriage, enjoy every single moment and bit of it''
He got engrossed looking Geet that did not know when Dadi comes and stood behind. He came back when felt her hand on shoulder and turned back.
"I need a month time for making her dream true Dadi'
SD nodded. She never had expected that Maan would fall for any girl this deep but now she could only pray for him and Geet that no downfall should touch their life.
SD left. Maan was still stood there lost in her laugh, her giggle, her blush. Geet was surrounded by some ladies who used to work in mansion. While laughing her eyes rose up and met with Maan, instantly she shied down. Making excuse she escaped from there, but Maans eyes followed her. She hides behind a tree then peeped out but found him looking still to her only. She started enjoying this hide n seek play. Wherever Geet goes Maan followed him. Finally she runs inside where Maan could not follow. He waited for her to peep out but when she did not, he became restless and runs downstairs.
While going toward the place where Geet had disappeared he saw someone who was standing on the entrance like a statue, seemed was in thought should step in or not.
"Who is he?' Maan thought and rushed there but before could reach him, stranger hides somewhere, away from his eyes. Maan tried to find him, asked to guards but no one had seen that stranger. With lots of confusion Maan was standing there when Geet comes from back and patted his shoulder.
"What happened Maan'
Maan turned back, shook head and smiled. "Nothing''
"Your milk" she raised glass but Maan refused to take it. With a hidden smile and a mysterious look he passed her and started to leave upstairs.
"What happened to him?' Geet was confused with his strange behaviour, she followed him. She walked in his room but he was not inside.
"Maan!!"
She called him but there was no one who could answer her back. She with confused mind returned back.

" I think I should meet Dadi in night. It wont be good if Geet sees me. I don't know what she knows about me, what Brij told her but now it would be best if I don't go in front of her..''
Dev thought standing outside of mansion who had come to meet Dadi but escaped when saw Geet with Maan..
