IMPORTANT:

Before reading further, I will like to clear few doubts which many of you had in last updates.

Suhana's POV: suhana hadn't asked geet to accept marriage completely, suhana wanted geet to give a chance to maan, but that doesn't mean accepting marriage. Of course, deciding about marriage is geet's maan's personal matter, but she suggested geet to give a chance to maan as she had seen how caring and understanding as a man he is. Generally you don't find such understanding guys, men are mostly seen as a symbol who earn living where as women give life to their house and heart, and she herself had observed that societal tradition after marrying ishaan.

But she had seen maan who not only is supporting financially, but is supporting emotionally so and it's a rare and supreme characteristics. Secondly they are already married, though religiously and not legally, so she wanted geet to give a chance to him as losing him will be a big mistake.

Geet's POV: how many of us dreams to marry a person who is ten years older than us, generally not even 1% of us and that's what is with geet. We all can accept our age group people quite easily than someone who is so much older than us and that's what the problem is geet. Geet is seeing maan as a guardian, a guide, but lover, not yet not even after what he is doing for her. She is grateful but love isn't a feeling yet.

Her knowing him, knowing about his habits, shows she cares for him as he does for her. she understand him as he does but she doesn't love him as he does. About liking him, she likes him as an individual, likes him for the person he is, but not as a life partner or lover.

YOUR QUERIES

How can she take decision about him or their life all alone???

Suppose if she had given them a chance but then in future the adjustment had been too difficult, an entire generation gap is there and if they both had issues in future because of that, then who would be the one to be blamed???

I agree there are possibilities that may be no such things happen but then the chances of above are more than the second option, isn't it??? We ourselves face such differences in our day to day life in the thinking of our elders and us, so what do you guys feel then???

Irritated, frustrated, right!!! So if in future they face the same, then it would result in nothing else but fights.

Am not saying that they can't have a future, of course they can have but it would be better to give the reigns of life to time, as time has answers of all the questions.

Geet is being selfish to not give a chance to maan

I think she doesn't even need to give a chance to him, because love doesn't ask permission to enter your heart. It comes when the time is right and takeover your heart and brain, removing all reasoning and restrictions. So why a specific chance does is required?? If without a proper chance she knows him this much, then why a specific chance is needed to improve their relation.

I know most of you won't agree to me, and that's why I expect you to comment and tell me your reasoning so we can discuss them and express our POVs.

Ok now enough of my Bak-Bak, lets tune back to the update now.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR

PART 23

At night, geet and suhana were lyeing beside each other, both lost in their own thoughts. Geet was busy thinking about what suhana said while suhana's mind was busy in thinking about future. What would happen to them, what will be their future, her mind was buzzing up with all the thoughts.

May be after an hour almost geet slept but suhana's sleep was far from her eyes. Seeing geet in deep sleep, she stood up and went out in hall only to find her husband sitting there in deep thoughts.

On the other side, maan and ishaan were sharing a room. They had made a friendly relationship in such a short time. Both were discussing some issue but then a silence covered the room, both turned quite as some awkwardness entered when ishaan told how suhana and he got married.

Seeing stiff maan, ishaan excused himself for water leaving maan alone so that he can recover himself. As ishaan left the room, maan stood up and went toward the window, opening it to allow in the chilled air of ocean.

He looked at the waves of the Indian Ocean that crashed on the shore, bringing back all the shells and hidden treasures with them. It also brought back the words he himself said to geet.

"We both are going to Mumbai, I will get you admitted in a school to complete your studies. But yeah mat sochna ki I care for you, no I don't, I care for the vows I took to support you, to help you in difficulties, I will be beside you till you will be able to stand on your feet, but the day you will be self-sufficient, I would be freed from you."

What an irony, he thought. That day I had said I am helping because she is alone, I don't care for her happiness, I will free her when she will be independent. But today when she has her sister by her side, when she has someone to care for her, I should have freed her but kyu nhi kar paya mai aisa. Do I really love her, kya mai sachhi uske liye itna diwana ho gya ki aj mera wada bhi mere liye wajood nhi rakhta.

He closed his eyes as cold gush of wind passed by, filling him with moist fresh scent of ocean. His body relaxed as his mind thought about what he had said to suhana. He was scared when he said all that, he didn't wanted to open himself to anyone else except his wife but if that will give him a little more time with his wife, it wasn't that bad.

He looked at the free ocean waves, which let themselves lose without any fear, giving coolness in this hot weather and decided to give himself sometime, may be it would clear up his mind a little.

Suhana sat beside ishaan in the hall, cuddled up in his arm, as they thought about what to do now. his hand was busy in her hair, as he caressed the soft tendrils of his wife, kya karna hai ab, he asked as suhana hid her face in his neck. I don't know, it's just so confusing, when I came here I was so clear, but now I am in fix. Aap hi batao kya shi hai, she asked looking in his eyes.

Ishaan took a deep breath, as he kept her head back in his neck, suhana I am myself confused. If I would have been in their place, I wouldn't have so much of patience and I salute him for that but then geet isn't wrong too. She is 16, we can't force him in this marriage. She has to think of her career first, but yeh sab, I don't know what to do, said ishaan dejected.

Suhana nodded with her husband's reasoning. Suhana I think we should give them some time, shayad ek dusre ka saath hi dono ko shi rasta dikhaye. Suhana looked at ishaan for a while and then nodded.

Ishaan took her hand and said, don't worry suhana, I have this trust on maan that he will keep her safe and besides we are always for her, any problem and we are a call away. I think we should just let them decide their future and even after that they would be like this, then we will interfere, he placed a peck on suhana's forehead as she nodded yes with her closed eyes.

Go, sleep now, it's past midnight, ishaan said after few minutes of silence. Suhana shook her head in no, laying her head on his lap. Kyu kya hua, ishaan asked seeing his wife back to her naughty self. Mujhe apki godi ke bina neend nhi ati, I want to sleep on your lap, she said as she encircled her hands around his waist.

Accha ji, ishaan said, as he pulled her closer to his lips, holding her by her hair, while suhana just blushed with his aggressive dominance. They were about to kiss but a closing to door stopped them in mid, breaking their reverie. Suhana immediately stood up straightening herself and looked around to find no one in the hall, means one of them had seen them and went away.

Both turned red in embarrassment as they walked back swiftly toward their respective rooms. Maan immediately slipped in his bed covering his head with duvet as he slammed back the door as slowly as possible.

When ishaan didn't came back even after half an hour, he got worried and moved toward door to look for him, but he saw ishaan sitting with suhana in his arms discussing something which wasn't audible to him. He admired them from far and thought maybe he and geet would be sitting like them in future. He was so lost that didn't notice when they shifted more closely but when his reverie broke, he got shocked and immediately moved back to the room.

Two days ishaan and suhana stayed with them and they were the best days of geet's. She was getting back to her old self finding her sister in close proximity. They roamed in Mumbai, sightseeing, doing some light shopping for family, while geet purchased some basic things for their house.

Maan's office started too while there were two days for geet's school starting and thus she was at home trying to pass her time alone. She looked at clock which showed fifteen past two, still 4 hours for maan to come.

She surfed channels, nothing interesting caught her attention. She rechecked her schedule in mind, cleaning.. done; dusting' done; washing clothes'. Wo bhi ho gye; cooking'. Wo to unke lunch ke saath hi apna lunch banaya tha so done' now what to do, she thought'.

Clock's minute hand showed ten minutes passed and she was damn bored now'. sighing, she laid down on the couch, thinking how her new school will be, how will her classmates will be' will they be able to accept her like she is'. Friends, dushmans' she thought and thought and unknown to her, her eye lids grew heavy as sleep took over her giving her deep slumber.

Maan and his colleague and best friend, adi were sitting in canteen as it was their lunch time. As maan opened his lunch box, fresh yummy smell of aloo prathas filled the air, as they warmed up the food in microwave. Adi's mouth drooled seeing those yummy prathas as he tried to have a bite but his hand was pushed away by maan with a glare.

Kya hai yaar, itne tasty dikh rhe hai, atleast let me have a bite yaar, adi said with an irritated face. You have your chole-bhature, they are looking yummy too, why are you poking your hand in my lunch, it's just for me and I won't share, he said in attitude.

Well that was maan singh khurana, a man who is damn possessive for his things and to be precise things of his lady love, his mishty. He can let her go for her happiness but he isn't ready to share something which she did for only him. Uski ek iccha par iski jaan kurbaan par uski har nishaani pe sirf iska haq hai.

Ye closed his eyes as he cherished the taste of hot alloo ke parethes, feeling her taste in them. He never used to like those parathas but when he tasted for the first time those made by her, he just got fida on her more.

Adi grumbled looking at his friend's mean act, but well that's what friendship is, a little fun, a little meanness, a little understanding and then back to the best friend stage.

Around 6 maan reached home and rang the bell, but no response came after ringing the bell for around3- 4 minutes. Feeling worried about geet, he immediately pulled out the duplicate key and opened the door.

He called for her loudly, but didn't hear any response; he became restless, is she ok??? He thought, khi kuch, he thought but then moved to her bedroom, but it was empty. He checked his room, it was empty too.

He held his forehead thinking kha gyi ye ladki. She doesn't even have a cell too, ab mai kya kru. He was about to go to ask neighbours when his eyes fell on the open TV. He moved toward the sofas which were in the opposite corners and looked down only to find her sleeping comfortably on her stomach, her face tucked under the cushions, covering her ears and face totally.

He closed his eyes tightly as relief coursed through him. He touched his forehead which was wet with sweat, his body stiffed with fear. He immediately held her hand, pulling her from the couch, making her stand on her feet, breaking her sleep.

Geet opened her eyes slowly feeling the sudden pull, as she tried to think what happened, but before that two strong arms crushed her in his embrace. Geet got stiffed with the sudden hug as she tried to free herself from him, but he just crushed her more in him, not giving in her struggles. Please, bas ek baar let me hug you, he whispered in her ears, as he tightened his arms around her.

Geet stopped her struggles as she heard his painful voice, is everything ok, she wondered. She let him engulf her in his warmth as she placed her hands on his back, patting him like a mother to soothe her scared child, while he hid his face in her neck, taking in her fragrance and assuring himself of her presence.

Is everything alright, she asked after she felt him getting relaxed, yet he didn't loosen his hold as if she will vanish if he did so. Kya hua, boliye na, she pestered him but he just shook his head in no. geet got disappointed with his no and was about to step away from the hug, but he held her again and said, I got scared when I didn't heard your reply after I came back. I got worried thinking something had happened to you when you were alone here.

But I was asleep, pata nhi kab aakh lag gyi. But why were you scared, I was inside a locked home, mujhe kya hona hai, she said as she again soothed his back while he closed his eyes as he felt her touch through his shirt.

He didn't reply but just stood in that hug. It was the first full hug and she wasn't repulsing it, it was an improvement he thought. He knew he was being silly to get scared like this, but he was deeply insecure about her and each and everything just signaled that she is going away and he didn't wanted that.

Geet, on the other hand got scared with his feelings. It was so new, and so scaring. She wanted him to move on, to give himself a chance, but all the time he just keep worrying about her, how will he get what he deserves then. If he got so scared just by not seeing her for a minute, then how will he react if she do have to go away in reality.

This wasn't going in a right way, she thought. This way I will destroy his future life too, nhi nhi I won't let that happen. Mujhe kuch karna hoga ab, she thought with finality as maan freed her from the hug.

Precap: first day at school and some new entry's too

No jutis please, I know main ek promotion and ek demotion dono ekhi saath dikha diya. But it's needed for the story, so just trust me and have patience.

A coal had to pass various tests to become a diamond and that's what I am planning in the story. So keep supporting me guys.

me first... yipeee... u updated so fast yaar... i was planning to wake up till 2 tonite...

thanx for the note ... sadly i agree with geets pov... every gal have their own dreams about her man...after the hot and handsome feature the next common thing will definitely be a friendly person... a person who she can relate to... and its the common myth that we can do so only to a person who is same to their age... but its true that there are exceptions... an i will be waiting for geet to realise that...

am feeling sad and worried for maan... his possessiveness , insecurities and love for geet is just increasing... how is he going to handle all this?

loved suhaana and ishaan talk... time will definitely bring a solution for this...

thanx to u neha, for not making geet struggle more in the hug... if she had did that i would have been surely ready over here to kick her... but in fact i loved her when she tried to console him...

maans rising insecurities for her has surely alarmed geet now... i wonder what solution she will find for this???
