Chapter 1

So after reading the A/N I am assuming this couple you are talking about are Dev and Naintara.

The only other positive Dev and NT I have read about and liked are from Laxmi2010's "Tum Kaun Ho."

Positive or Negative, to me Dev and NT have always been Abhinav and Karishma and not the imposters who replaced them later.

You know, I used to always wonder what if Dev and NT had been positive characters in the show. I think they would have made a wonderful Brother and Sister-in-law. So, I am glad I am going to see them as positive characters in "The Locket"

I swear I love this whole pro-feminist image of NT that you have drawn. Se is a perfect foil for the charming playboy Dev who went to Europe to enjoy life like the heroes of Karan Johar movies.🤣

I swear that analogy had me cracking up and how true it is, I thought.

He rubbed his cheek fondly as he remembered the day he had proposed...

I am falling in love with this whole different image of Dev And Naintara, Avi and hope you will write more of their war-style courtship. Can't wait to read more about this couple.

Where were you O Nisha for so many days? I almost wrapped the whole thing up and threw in the towel...with the reactions I got then...😲

Luckily my mafia did not let me down... and even my laaton ki bhoot Shika... the story continued if only for them and now I am planning more and more updates...😊

I am totally in love with this couple. This type of romantic stuff is surprising me by the fact that I can write it. Maan here is the hardest to write because he has such few lines. Everything is feel and I am trying hard to make him the soulful lover... not sure if I'll succeed but am going to give it my all..

Kaan pakadke sorry Avi dear. Shikha and you together can kick my butt if you want.😛See I am still trying to catch up with all that I have missed. Plus I am not getting much time to come online these days. Very busy with it being tax season plus whole bunch of work I have missed due to the exam break. Also, when I do come online I end up chatting with you guys.😆

But I am so very thankful to the Bhoot mafia and our Kick Buttowski Shika darling for net letting you quit. I can't imagine missing such a wonderful ff.

Chapter 2

So in this chapter, we get a glimpse of Maan through his dadi's eyes and what a sad picture it is. He has lost something so precious that it is irrreplacable. My heart went out to the yuong boy who adored his mother to the point of worship. If Maan and Dev are twins, I amassuming they are pretty close, even if they are not identical. But you have have said that he was closer to his mother even than his twin. That must have been a very strong bond indeed and I can totally understand why maan has withdrawn. When such bonds break, you naturally fear forming emotional ties with people, as is perhaps the case with Maan.I am Wondering why Maan is restless that particular night and playing that wonderful tune. A tune that is perhaps his last happy memory with his parents. The last stanza he sings, brought a tear to my eye, for those few lines, perhaps show exactly what he is feeling.

So Dadi konws Geet. Now I am curious about their relationship and whether Maan knows Geet too.

And I could not help but notice a Kishore Kumar loving Raj and a Kiran that he dances with. Apne aap ko Maan ki maa bana liya AVi. I think now Iunderstand the bond Maan shares with his mother. In this sad chapter those names had me cracking up. I knew who they were the moment I read about them.

I am loving how you are introducing each character one at a time. Maan seems to be the strong, silent and sensitive type. Can't wait to read more about him and his relationship with Geet, if any.

Chapter 3

🤣

Cheating, Cheating. You falsely named that chapter and mislead us.

That turned out to be NT. I loved it Avi. I totally, totally loved how you lured us into thinking that it was Geet and then sprang NT on us. I re-read it after knowing it was NT and I swear I am in love with this awesome woman.

She went from dreaming of Hrithik Roshan to heel grinding that amoeba in the bus, to slapping her new boss. She really is having a bitc* of a day isn't she.?

She hit Dev and then Dadi introduced them.🤣 I reeeally would have loved to have seen their reactions😆

What is this about her past?😕

I'm sure there is a painful story there, no wonder she is such a strong woman.

This is the best character ever created Avi. She is a lady of awesome contrasts.

You know as I was listening to that song while she was dreaming, I was smiling and thinking that the dreamy tune suited the situation and then suddenly she starts counting those numbers on that bus and the tune in my head changed to aali re saali re🤣

I just wish you had not stopped where you had. I so desperately wanted to read more.

I am hoping you will write more about them. Log mujhe goli se uda denge for saying this, but I wouldn't mind if they are the main leads of this story.I can already see the fireworks and the fantastic story these two will have.😉

Chapter 4

OMG Geet is so adorable. I thought you could not top the character you have created in NT and then you go and give us an adorable, innocent, shy, jhalli Geet and prove me wrong.She is such a sweetheart. Jo mann mein aaya, woh jhat se jaban se nikla aaya. I adored the glimpses of Maan you gave through her. 😳

Now we get to see a little of their past. Still, the mystery of the locket is partially solved. perhaps it belonged to his mother. Tumhare Avi naam ke punarjanam mein, do you still own it?😆

Mujhe tingu aur 2 by 2 naam sabse zyada pasand aaye, Devji. I love their relationship.😃

Could she be any more adorable. Now I can't wait to read about these two.😳

Still, wondering why Maan was sad in the first update😕

Such are the times when I love that I have 2 more chapters to read and will not be left hanging.😆
