Sorry Kiran but I did not agree with your POV. Yes Maan was attracted to her in the beginning but he was in denial due to the same attraction. Only when he put distance between him and her did he realize that he truly loved her. After that apart from his occasional thoughts revolving around her beauty, he has been providing her with emotional support. So, in your words everything from Rahul's fiasco to her education is result of his lust? At least that was not my intention to portray or maybe I failed to express correctly. The occasional thoughts are bound to happen because he is not a saint and when you love someone, I would think physical needs play as much a part as emotional needs. "Beauty" is in the eye of beholder and just because he is smitten by her beauty does not mean he lusts her and everything is a result of it.
Also seriously you think there is no difference between her jeth and Maan? One man forced himself on her and other is ready to be there for her unconditionally. Did Maan try to even touch her inappropriately? If it was all lust then I guess he should behave like Rahul.
Loving and caring for someone is not a crime…..forcing someone is.
