Maan was driving fast all lost in his thoughts. he was still
trying to believe the view he saw in Geet's room. He didn't knew
where he was going.It was night very few vehicals were on road,
so he didn't face any problem. he pushed d door bell n Priya
opened d door.
Priya-aa gaye tum. koi problem toh nahjn hui na
Maan didn't hear his mother n he started to go to his room
Priya again-Maan ! are you listening what i m saying.
maan again didn't answer her.Priya stopped maan by placing her
hand on his shoulder. Maan came out of his thoughts n saw his
mother.
Priya- maan r u alright?
Maan -yes maa. Actually I m very tired. Can I go to sleep?
Priya-haan jaao Maan.In morning u have to go with Sam to
celebrate her birthday.
Maan didn't want to talk about her right now so he nodded and
went to his room after wising Priya good night.
After entering his room he went to take a shower to cool down his
mental fight but could not get rid of that.
he took shower n after wearing his night dress he laid on d bed.
but sleep was like miles away from him.
his heart n his mind -both were busy in that process of mental
fight
Maan's heart(MH) Maan's brain(MB)
MH-how it may be possible? they live in same house. both have
their birthday today. one is celebrating n other is not even
coming out of her room.
MB-Kuchh to reason hoga. Tum kahaan Geet ke baare me kuchh jaante ho?She never tells u about herself
MH-so what. every one has a different nature.may b she is not so
expressive
MB-how silly .Geet kaha se introvart lagti hai. She is a chatter
box.bus jab uske baare me poochho toh uski zubaan chipak jaati
hai
MH-but they r sisters.How can a mother be so partial for her two
daughters.Are they twins? but Geet is junior to Sam.She is going
to give her 12th boards.
MB-Ho sakta hai ki Geet ka padhne me interest nahin ho toh wo
fail ho gayi ho aur isiliye Sam aur Pammi us se gussa ho
MH- that's not possible-Remember in school Geet always helped Sam in her projects.even she is junior to her
MB-i think that Geet has done some thing so wrong that they r
avoiding her.
MH-Agar aisa hota to Pammi aunty Vicky ko Geet ke saath nahin
Chhodti.In Vicky's matter she trusts her more than Sameera
MH-I m feeling very bad for Geet. Apni birthday ke din she is all
alone.how i m so stupid that i didn't know about Geet's DOB. and
I consider myself her friend
Maan felt some wetness in his eyes as he imagined geet's face
which had teary eyes. He closed his eyes n left his heart and
mind still fighting.
In the morning it was 8 am n Priya still found Maan sleeping.She
woke up Maan n asked -Maan! u r still in bed it's 8 in d
morning n u all r meeting at 9. u will b late to go there.
Maan keeps his head in her lap n said-maa mera mann nahin hai
jaane ka.I couldn't sleep well at night.
Priya-(in teasing tone)Kyun Sam ke khayaalon ne sone nahin dia kya?
Maan-Come on Maa aap har baat ko Sam se kyun connect kar deti ho? Meri need ka Sameera se kya lena dena?
Priya-Ab mujhe kya pata ki tujhe neend kyun nahin aayi, maine toh aise hi uska naam le liya.Maan is every thing allright.Kal raat se dekh rahi hoon ki kuchh pareshaan ho
Maan-Can I ask u some thing?
Priya- U don't need my permission Maan to talk to me. Poochho kya poochhna hai?
Maan-maa ! Do the twins behave in same manners or they behave differently?
Priya- It doesn't matter they r twins or not.they can behave in
every manner. I mean they r two different persons only thing is that they r born together. they can behave in same manners in which two elder n younger sibling behave.But why are u asking these weird questions?
Maan -nothing maa! i m going to get freshen n then will go
Priya- it's ok main bf ready karti hoon
Maan went to bathroomn Priye too left all puzzeled
On bf priya asked maan if he bought any gift 4 Sam or not.Maan
was now little uncomfortable with his mother's continuous chants
of Sam's name. he left without answering her.
They all met on d meeting point n went to celebrate. Adi was
there as Sam had invited him. They all went to watch a movie but
maan was still lost thinking about Geet.He didn't know even d
name of movie which they were watching.he came out in d name of washroom n after a lot of thinking n struggle he called Khanna
House's land line.After few rings phone was picked up n he
heard-Hello
It was some servant so he asked-I m Maan . vicky ghar par hai kya
The servant told him that Vicky was out with Geet.on asking where they went he said that he didn't know.
maan was disappointed n he went back to movie all but didn't pay
any attention.Adi found him lost n surprised to see Maan behaving strangely on his girlfriend's birth day.Adi tried to ask him but Maan ignored.
then they all went to disk and Sam asked Maan to join her on d
dance floor but he avoided.Sam was also seeing Maan who was
almost on his maun vrat so she asked him
Maan-why r u behaving so differently? Is everything alright.
Maan -Yes I m fine.
Sam-so let's dance
Maan -no sam.I m in no mood to dance. you go n enjoy
Samdidn't say anything n went with other friends to dance floor.
At night after entertainment got over.Everyone parted n maan with
some hope in his heart to see Geet once, offered sameera to drop her to home.Sam agreed n they reached Sam's house.
Maan - Sam actually kal main Vicky ko uska gift dena bhool gaya tha.main uske room me gaya tha but he wasfast asleep so will give it to him now

Sam-Maan how rude! birthday girl ko no gift n vicky ke liye gift?

Maan- Yesterday Maa gave u na.
Sam saw him with a frown-maan I m ur Gf.u should have given me something special
Maan - Sorry . next birthday par pakka doonga Now call Vicky. Maan was hoping to see Geet's one glimps along with Vicky. He wanted to see if she was all right
But to his bad luck servant told him that vicky was tired as he
was out with geet n was sleeping.Maan was sad now n went back
Maan- (ST) Kisse poochoon Geet ke baare me.why I m so
restless.Vicky will not tell me anything because he has promised
Geet n above all he is a kid.Sam is out of question because she
is d only one who has problem with Geet.Pammi aunty se poochhna theek nahin hoga . she will b suspecious as she always supports Sam. this is another point that she does not say something bad to Geet like sam.Kisi servant se baat karna to bahut hi galat hoga. Kaun hai aisa jo Geet ke baare me mujhe bata sakta hai?
while thinking all this he reached home n to avoid Priya's querry about d day he said-Maa I m too tired. Good night.
and he went to his room n slept thinking about d options.Next day
day started as normal for everyone. Even maan was tired to think
n got busy in his studies n other works
two days passed n maan didn't get a chance to see geet.one day
maan returned from college n saw Priya little disturbed.When maan asked she told that cook's wife was sick n he went on leaven here r nothing to cook as the cook himself used to buy every thing 4 the kitchen and today he was planning to go to market but has to go on leave

Maan smiled at her n said -Dont worry maa. tell me I will buy the things 4 u
Priya got happy n gave him d list.He went to vegetable market.he
was buying vegetables.on one stall he saw Ramu kaka buying
vegetables.
he went near him n said-How r u kaka n everyone at home?
Ramu kaka-main theek hoon Aap kaise hai aur yahaan kya har rahe hain?
Maan told him every thing n kaka helped in buying things he
needed. after shopping when kaka started to go Maan stopped him.
he found kaka a right person to get his answers as he knew that
he was oldest servant of that house n loved Geet like his daughter
Maan-kaka!aap se kuchh poonchhoo to aap mujhe sach batttaenge?
Kaka saw him puzzeled n nodded
Maan-Main Geet ke baare me jaanna chahta hoon.
Kaka-Geet ke baare me aap kya poochhna chahte hai .Poochhne layak kya hai? aap ki dost hai. aap use jaante to hain.
Maan -Kaka main woh jaanna chahta hoon jo aap jaante hain.
Kaka understood somewhere what Maan wanted to know he took a deep breath n said
Kaka-Maan beta jo aap jaanna chahte hain agar Geet hi aapko
bataaye to theek rahega. main aapko kuchh nahin bata sakta.
mainne bata diya to aap geet ko daya ki nazar se dekhenge.Na geet isse pasand karegi, na aap aur na hi main.Main bahut khush ho jaoonga usdin jab Geet aap ko apne baare me bataayegi magar ye namumkin to nahin par bahut mushkil hai.agar Geet ke baare me janna chahte hai toh aapko uske dil me woh mukaam haasil karna hoga ki Geet aap par itna bharosa kare ki aap usse kabhi dosti me dhokha nahin denge.
Kaka left from there wiping his eyes n Maan was still there.He
made a promise to himself-I promise to myself Geet that one day i
will win ur trust n u will tell me every thing about urself.I will try my best. From now only I m ur that trustful friend who will be with u in every problem.
He felt light in his heart n smiled whole heartedly n went to
home
