What we can do to fix this?

I have been a silent reader in the forum for over a year, the only reason I come on this forum is to relive my maaneet which has been off for year now. I wouldn't have been a reader of this forum without reading the work of Muskaan, FireSafireFiree, and Annie, Tich, Shoba, and many other writers.

Since the show went off we have received many new and wonderful writer that keeping them alive, but with the recent event I don't know if this forum will last long.

Recent even that is going is the following:

1. Bring writer's personal life in the forum

2. Reader rude comment to the writer

3. Writing quit left and right

1. Bring writer's personal life in the forum

This is one silliest thing I have ever come across, seriously why bring a writer personal matter to public. This forum isn't a private forum like email or personal blog, this is public so readers or writer stay on your limit and not bring this public. Let me ask you all this question, would you talk about your personal life to your boss or unknown colleague? And I can assure you that 99% most people won't because there is limit to personal and professional matter, same thing apply here also. And another thing to consider in this issue is how you feel if other people bring your personal life to public. When you point your finger on other people ask yourself how would I feel when other person brings my personal life to public. This is one regarding on issue of Annie, serious it doesn't matter what her real name is and what it isn't because as far as this forum is consider how good is her story. And another thing about Tich or Annie was being jealous of each other, seriously that is so not true from my perspective. As far as what I have seen they have been nice friends, where Tich asked permission from Annie when she started Devil Possession or when each of them gave idea off to each other story. So guys all I am trying to say is use your common sense before bring anyone personal life to public and think as if your bring your personal life to public. I am not trying point at anyone; I am just giving my opinion about this issue.

2. Reader rude comment to writer and copyright

There is saying, if you don't have anything good to say then don't say it all. Reader you should know one thing about these writer, they love and value your comments and consider your comments to be encouragement. When you give them comment or suggest be respectful to the story and the story writer. When the writers value your comment then you should make valuable comment, not something rude or out of proportion to the story or the writer. Just think guys before writing whatever bu**s**t that comes in your mind or put yourself in the writer's shoe and think how would I feel when a reader gives me this comment. Again the philosophy is think before write because what is said can be erased, but not what is written and also COMMON SENSE.

As far as copyright goes, I don't know where to begin. Copying a writer's work word for word and telling the reader that it is your work is copyright infringement (Such as neha 5058). I have been a loyal reader of her work and I am ashamed of myself to be one because I got into this show and forum due to Muskaan and FireSafireFiree (Sorry about the side track). Having similar scene in your story as other writer's story isn't copyright violation, seriously how many stories out there in this forum has geet falling down and maan heroic saving her from the fall. Considering all the stories I come across and read pretty much every damn story and even serial have it. Not just that even baby antics are similar, all babies have the curious to know everything hidden and unhidden, so that doesn't mean the writer stole your work word for word. So if you find your story line similar to another storyline pm the writer and solve the issue in private, when it comes to public it is ugly and causes problem between loyal readers of their writer when we should be loyal maaneetain.

All that I try to say here is be careful what you write because the perspective of your comment can be taken in differently than the way you portrait it. Consider this next time you write anything or comment, words are powerful whether you say it or write it. But written words have more valuable and even more powerful then spoken words.

3. Writer quitting left and right due to the following reason

a. Infrequently writing due to personal reason

The writers that write infrequently, I am not going against you or want to ill treat you. I understand that everyone has personal life not just this forum, just write when you have time, but don't stop in the middle of your work. I have two similar writer that either write infrequently or doesn't write at all one of them is shining moon and other let's just make it unnamed. Shinning moon doesn't write frequently because she a student and I understand that because I was student once and I know how it feel. The thing I love about this writer is that she will give us a heads up when she can't write by saying it is exam time, which is understandable. And other thing is when she does return she return with a bang. Reader's would understand I think and would wait because personal life is first priority then only other things. The other writer just disappear and don't give a reason at all, I am not trying to get into your personal life just say I have personal things to take care of once it is done then I will resume my work. When you leave us hanging it will annoys everyone and you will have drop in your reader and likes and comment. I am not assuming this because I have seen that with that writer. Writer don't quit your work because you have personal thing to take care, take care of them and then come back

b. One or few rude comment

Writer's quitting because of one or few rude comments, seriously writer why do you guys care for that particular comments when you have a lot other good comments. I know I am contradicting what I said earlier about writer's valuing the reader comment, you guys should value only those that needs to be valued not everyone is valuable. A good example would be you go to a wedding someone pass a rude comment on you, you leave the venue immediately or stay there for the person that values you. I feel in most case you would stay because the person that invited you values you and your time and also love you too, think of these comments similarly. Don't think I am support you rude reader because of you all we will lose some of best writer and the forum. Every single person that comes on this forum is because they love Maaneet, if you don't like them or if you have moved on please either leave or don't write anything at all.

Please don't stop writing because some comment from other GC diehard fan, no offense even thought I myself am fan of him. Just write the story the way you want and for the love you have DD. I do read your work on Rishbala also because I am fan of your writing not just the character, so don't stop writing. Please don't convert you work on Maaneet to Rishbala because I don't want to lose the essence of story that you wrote for Maaneet.

Please don't stop writing because of some reader's comment because you are good writer. I don't know what the reason other reader read you story, but I read them because you bring the character's emotion alive with your words. The reason being is I actually cried when you wrote Geet's feeling when she lost her first baby in love and hate and laughed with Armaan antics with his parents.

So all the writer's that are trying to stop writing think about your loyal reader and commenters not just one or two rude readers or commenter.

If I have offended anyone with my above statement, then I am sorry for being rude. All these have been bottled up in mind ever since the issue started to rise on writer quitting and that too good writers.

Hopefully waiting for the writer I love to comeback

Shoba I read what she wrote and the reader's name she took and I also feel the same way as you feel because why would they question her about your work. The list of reader's that she wrote were all writer's themselves, and the funny thing don't the writer's already know who to question and not to question regarding the story. One of the writer that she took was Tanya and I know her as a writer and commenter, and the thing I like about her is direct and to the point. I have seen an example her direct action when she pointed about one of the writer that copyright infringement, so if she is outspoken (in a good way Tanya) then why would she go around the bushes. If she has a question regarding the story she will directly as the writer not another writer as want Teddy500 pointed out.

Forget about the writer and think about the reader, when a reader has a question she will ask the author of the story not another author especially the one hasn't read the story in the first place. When I had question regarding where was Annie from the Love and hate, I asked you even though I shy to speak on a forum so I don't where she got her list.

P.S. Tanya, I hope I took your name in a good way because you are also one of my favorite writer in Geet forum.
