PART 20

The team was very worried, Myra was shocked when she interpretated the conversation, Vikrant too was worried, he asked Myra to keep a watch on Sameera, so it was decided that Myra will go and stay with her Jeth and Jethani for few days. The junior Khurana couple joined the senior couple. Palak welcomed them with open arms. Sameera was very happy to know that Myra will be staying with them, she liked Myra very much.

Myra was very sorry for Sameera; days passed and so did weeks, nothing happen. Sameera was trying to look calm, but was worried; she always tried to accompany Maan whenever he went outstation.

Myra smile sadly seeing her concern for him. Maan was sometimes irritated with all this and shouted on her, but she remained smiling and ignored his temper. Myra asked Vikrant to tell Maan about the conversation but he said "nothing is going to happen 2 months have passed and all seems to be well"

It has been 2 months and CID was held at a cul-de-sac, they waited for Maan to be attacked but nothing happened.

One team was keeping watch on Adi and Pinky; they found Adi a little too distracted. He time and again went to meet someone at Handa Haveli, but Myra said she has never seen him there. Then where did he go after entering the Haveli.

Pinky was also quite restless; she had long talks with Maan regarding Geet. But where was Geet; was still not answered.

It has been 2 months, Sameera was now a little relaxed.

Today Maan has gone to a party with Mr. Raizada, it was a project launch party hosted by an eminent builder Mr. Chopra. Sameera was not well, so she did not go. Vikrant and Myra took Palak with them to watch a movie.

At the party,

The party was in full swing, the drinks were being served, Russian belle dancers were dancing, few couples were dancing on a dance number, people were standing in groups chatting, many deals were being finalized on a glass of wine, many people were enjoying food. Over all it was a regular high class party.

Maan was standing with Mr. Raizada and Mr. Chopra discussing an upcoming project. Mr. Chopra asked the waiter to bring more drinks and they resumed their talks, a waitress came with 3 glasses and gave one glass to each, Maan was confused as the waitress pointedly gave the glasses in their hands, but he ignored. As he was about to take a sip, Mr. Raizada collided with a kid who was running he lost his hold on the glass and it fell down. Mr. Raizada smiled at the kid; his mother apologized and took the small one. Mr. Chopra asked the waitress to bring another drink.

Meanwhile Maan offered his drink to Mr. Raizada who accepted it, as the old man sipped the drink the waitress who had served them looked horrified, Maan noted this and wondered why her face was drained, then he found that she looked at a certain corner and he followed his gaze to find a departing shadow.

The waitress immediately left. After about 15 mins Mr. Raizada fell down while talking

He was rushed to the hospital where he was declared dead due to instant cardiac arrest. Maan wondered had the old man died due to the drink, was the drink poisonous. He demanded post mortem; but nothing was revealed that could be countered as poison.

Maan later told Vikrant about all this on phone, Myra immediately rushed to the Handa Haveli and was told that Sameera has not come out of the room she went in to check her and found her sitting numb with phone in her hand.

She immediately called Vikrant who called the CID to find if Sameera has talked to someone on the phone.
