If you would ask me what I like about this story, I don't know what to point out Mayya mayya. Really, is it the characters, or the style or the story itself?
While there are stories around where girl tripping guy catching was so natural, and they feeling sparks from the word go was so common, this story is like a breath of fresh air.
I am not degrading those cliches. After all I am a reader and writer of such stories. However until this story came by I never knew what I was missing on Mayya. This was such an eye opener that I am so proud of you.
Okay enough of my bak bak. I am so emotionally charged right now that I don't think I wouldn't be able to tell all of what I wanted to say earlier. However I would try...
First of all I would empathize with Ayush and Anaya. As Charles M. Schulz says and Zarin quotes "Nothing takes the taste out of peanut butter quite like unrequited love."
It is quite a sticky situation when you see a character coming between the leads but you can't quite hate them too after all only if the story was written from this character, we might have empathized with him/her. But we don't since we have other leads and this character is a supporting one. How ironic haina.
Anyway coming out of my melancholic mood, I have to say there are so many gems in this chapter. Be it Maan catching her hand, or he having a thousand watt smile on his face when she asks if he could help her with the problem, or he blurting out about her staying late. Everything. Not to forget the Geeta fiasco and he stomping out. Mariam, why do you write this beautifully and make me fall in love with each and every character of your story?

Mayyo I missed you waaahhh!!😭

Was travelling and working and I am exhausted, but so very happy to be home sweet home with my Valentine.😉

I swear I worked like a donkey to get back here on the 14th. I did it. YAY!!😃

Trying to catch up to all the updates slowly.

Umm who is it that Ayush has noticed? Is it Anaya, or Geet?

"Geet has a height which suits her physique. A few inches shorter than my five eleven."

And she'd fit perfectly under his chin, bilkul aise(hint to the writer😉)

I loved the whole Maan playing the complimenting her scene in his mind thing.

Take 1- Fail. Cut

Take 2- Fail. Cut

Take 3- Almost a success, but was ruined by the extras around . Pack up.😆

Maan is J. He doesn't need to be though, Geet Ayush ko bilkul ghaas nahi daal rahi hain😆

And our girl is really starting to notice our man isn't she. The eye-catching features and the predominant form. Ahaan😉

I really cannot say that I am surprised by Anaya's feeling. The hints were there. Unless you go and change the whole thing around. I do know, you love messing with our heads😔

One compliment from Geet( a success at first take by the way) and Maan ke dil me laddoo phooting. 😃

Finally we got to see the stalker😃

Why is there time difference when she wants to call her Baba. Is she supposed to be in a different country or something?😕

Aren't you gald you are a Math- a- magician Maan? I swear I could see the gobsmacked expression on his face when Geet asked him for help😆

Geet pay attention to the problem at hand, not to the problem solver😉

Can I just say, I totally loved the knight in shining armor rescuing the princess twist and leading her to his car😳

You bowled me over with that one. My husband wrote a poem for me once and I am going to share a small excerpt from it, that I think goes perfectly over here. I took his permission for this BTW😆

She said she was dreaming about,"The white rose riding knight."

I told her it was a fairytale and it never happens now,

For white horses are reared rarely and they are not found anyhow,

I told her I had a white car and it had ninety horses,

And that's how the "true" knights these days, saved their princesses.😆

Umm, wondering what is the mystery surrounding Geet's working at that cafe?😕

Along with Maan I was was sreaming for joy when his mom said Geet and then.. you added an extra unwanted "a" and she became Geeta and I was like WTH🤣

Mayyo you sadist, that was the best tiwst ever. I loved it.😆

One thing I have come to accept about your updates is, never expect the expected.

But that means, Geet's friend hasn't been revealed yet.

I totally relished ths whole update, it was just fantastic.

I am all ready to do the thap thaping with some mirch masala demands thrown in.😉

Again I loved it very much

So aayush is serious about geet and I am scared how he made his fast advances towards her everytime, ditching maan but liked that coolly geet refused his advances, making note that maan did not like that...

And on the other hand anaya is serious about maan...oops you are making complicated love trianlges...aut ye maan to bas, iski gaadi ekdam dheere dheere patri pe aa rahi hai...

Loved his stalking her to cafe to hostel and how he saved her from road-goons...it was the only once he was at his MSK mode, scolding her at her behaviour on sitting late at cafe

OMG maan ki mom to ekdaum zakas hai...jumping like a small girl...loved their bonding of not hiding anything from each other...

His mother teasing him ...me too nervous on finding Geeta instead of GEET

Maan ki mom ne maan ka popat bana diya...lol...

Eagerly waiting for next part
