"Maan stop it..."
Geet struggled against his hold helplessly as Maan kissed her neck from behind ignoring her pleas. It was a month after their marriage and not one day passed by where Maan didn't take any opportunity to kiss, tease and play with her whether be it in public or private area. Two weeks after their marriage, they moved back to London where they had started their own small life with just the four of them. Dadima and everyone was happy to let them go but only with a promise to visit every there months or when Vicky will be free from school.
All of Geet's fears disappeared after their first night which, by the way, stil makes her blush thinking of their special night. Maan took care of her that night and make sure not to cause her any pain. His love was gentle and full of care. She still remembers his eyes that displayed so many emotions for her mostly love and respect. Geet was more than happy to give chance to this Maan who only knows how to love and make everyone happy around him. Although, like he had said on their first night, he is a shetan when it comes to loving her. He knows that Geet loves his shetan-ness side.
Now, she was trying to get out of his hold so that she can attend to Vicky for his school before he could barge into the room any minute yelling at the top of his lungs.
"Please Maan leave me. I have to go"
"You spend more time with Vicky than you do with me. Not fair"
"Maan he is a little boy and you know how much he needs us."
"what about me? I need you too"
"Well, too bad. I love Vicky more. Now, leave me"
"What you love him more? That's it I will make sure you change your mind about that"
He turns her around kissing her lips as his hands pulled her closer and closer until there was no room for air to pass through. Geet wraps her arms around his neck enjoying this moment. Maan's fingers snake around her back stopping at her blouse hook. Geet snaps her eyes open feeling his touch near her hook. She pushes him away as she runs out of the room while Maan smiles looking at her retreating back.
Geet served everyone breakfast and tried to maintain distance from Maan as much as she could while he played with Anamika. She was a complete daddy's girl and would get excited whenever she sensed him near her. Her favorite thing to do with Maan is pull on his tie, it is fascinating to her and Maan of course would take out his tie so she can play with it and also save him from strangulation. He, of course, never complained and in fact he enjoyed spending time with her.
Geet looks at Vicky with worry as he sat at the dinning table quietly playing with his food. This was the first time Vicky has been this quiet. What is wrong with Vicky? Even in the morning when I went to get him ready he was being naughty just did whatever I told him to do. I sat next to him patting his forhead to check for feaver but it was normal. He has never been the quiet type in fact I miss his bubbly nature. I looked at Maan signaling him toward Vicky but he shrugged his shoulders not knowing what was wrong either.
"Vicky sweety what's wrong? Why are you so quiet? Don't you like your favorite strawberry pancakes?"
"No, they are good." (Geet held his hand with worry. He was not talking at all)
"What's wrong then? Tell us we will fix it. I promise"
"Really?" (He asks with a little smile and glint in his eyes)
"Yes, champ. Now, tell both of what happened? Anyone bothered you in school?" (Maan asks with little anger with just the thought of someone bothering his brother.)
Vicky nodes his head in yes. Maan takes out his cell phone ready to yell at this school and find out who messed with Vicky. He had told Geet not to send him in public school but no she did not want to listen to him.
"Tell me their names and I will straighten this out"
"Maan stop it. You are acting like godfather right now. What are you going to do with little kids? It happens. Teasing and fighting is the whole fun of childhood. I am sure Vicky is capable enough to do this alone. You cannot baby him like this"
"I don't care. Whoever dares to mess with the people I love will have to face me whether they are young or old"
She sighs knowing there is no point in arguing with him. She focuses her attention to the person that needed the most, Vicky. She signals him to speak without any hesitation.
"Woh tomorrow is parents day and my school is hosting a little function for all the parents. All the kids will be participating in honor of their parents. Kids tease me saying I don't have any parents so I can't participate."
Geet looks at him with tears not knowing what to say. How can kids be so mean about this? Maan looks at both of them in pain. He felt so helpless. He had prepared himself for this day when he will ask quesitons about his parents but seems like all the preperation went to futile as he was tongue tied. Maan places Anamika in her high chair picking up Vicky in his arms.
"Who said that? Me and Geet will go to the function."
"But you guys are not my parents. So how can you?"
"Well, what different things do we do that normally parents do? Don't we take care of you? Don't we take and drop you off to school like most parents? Don't we help you with your homework? Don't we take care of you when you are sick? So what is the differnce between them and us? Nothng right? So why can't we go to this function like your parents?"
"You guys will really do that?"
"of course. Anything for you?"
"Yay!! I will call all my friends and let them know that I will have someone come to this function."
Maan smiles and puts him down watching him run upstairs with happiness. Geet comes from behind hugging him around his waist. Maan places his hands on top of her while turning around. She cups his face with the palms kissing him on his lips. He smiles kissing her back as they grasp in this moment.

Geet sat in the audience feeling nervous looking at Vicky on stage performing for parent's day event while Maan held the video camera taking in everything from beginning to end. This was a proud moment for both of them as he performed on stage. Geet wraps her arms around his as she looks ahead in tears. Anamika claps her head as if she knew what was going on cheering for Vicky.
Her life truly was complete with the people she loves and the happiness she always wanted. All of this wouldn't have been possible without Maan.

Maan sat in his office tyring to finish his work before the weekend began. He knew the minute the clock hits 12am, he is not allowed to think or even about work no matter how important it is. He sighs it was almost dinner time and Geet would come up here in two minutes asking what she should make for dinner. Just like any other day he would tell her the same thing and still both of them will reach to no conclusion. He can't even get mad and yell at her or else he will end up sleeping on the sofa for the night or even worse a week. No. He can't afford to loose his bed for a week.
He looks toward the door where Geet pops in. Right on time he thought. Let the charade begin.
