Part 20

Dadi and her friend returned back in hall. They settled back in couch chatting.

"Savitri ek baat puchu?'' Lady spoke. Dadi nodded.

"Who was that girl?''

Dadi told everything to her how she found Geet. Lady thought for a while then whispered. "Don't mind savitri but I don't think you should let any girl stay here in Mansion like this!!''

"Matlab?'' Dadi frowned

"Dekh Savitri .. you have two sons here and this girl.. I mean you don't even know who is she, where does she come from? Kuch uch nich na ho jaaye! Soch le ''

"What you saying Usha, Geet is nice girl.. I don't think asa kuch hoga'' Dadi protested

"And how you know she is good or not!! Do you know her family, husband or anything! You even don't know is she saying truth about her marriage or lying!! Dekh aaj kal ye sab aam baat hai Savitri. Log jhuth bolke gharo me aate hai or fir sab tabah kar dete hai!! Soch le!!''

She filled Dadi mind with all craps and left, not before alerting her. Though Dadi did not heed her words but somewhere it, marked a slight claim in her mind. "At least I should do something soon!!'' she thought.

It was dinner time when all gathered for having food. Today everyone had their own thoughts where they were engaged in hence, silence was ruling over there independently. Geet was staring Maan again and again, hiding from everyone, thinking he might had read her note and was waiting for his reply where Maan was lost thinking how to talk Dadi . Dadi had other thoughts. She wanted to solve Geet mystery as soon as not because she had any doubt on her but she didn't like the way her neighbors started thinking about her and she knew, very soon all would begin gossiping about Geet. She did not want any ignominy for her and so wanted to end this all possibly soon. Dev.. well he was somewhere far from there. His entire attention was wandering on the result of task which he had given to his men and that, was connected to HP.. " Don't know what what they're doing there? kuch pata bhi lagaya hoga ya nahi!!''

The sound of cutlery and munching were only source of sound over there. Geet was restless.. "Why Maan is not looking me? Don't know had he read my note or not! Is he okay if I tell Dadima everything tonight?'' She thought as she had written in note she would talk Dadi tonight after dinner and wanted his permission, but Maan hadn't read yet due to urgent office works and calls he had had. "Maan !!'' she tried to whisper, call him but voice could not come out from her mouth in hesitation. She tried to get his attention doing random stuffs. Their chairs were in front of each other so gaining his attention was little tough. She raised her hand to take water jug which had kept near Maan. "Kya chahiye Geet!'' Dadi asked who was sitting next to her.

"Ji.. wo pani'' Geet gave her forced smile while Dadi passed jug. "Thank you Dadima!'' .. Again spoon and knifes sounds overruled. Within five minutes, suddenly (or intentionally) Geet spoon slips down and fell on floor making metallic sound catching everyone attention to her.

" Sorry!!'' she whispered meekly looking all and looked back in her plate nervously. "Sirf unka attention lene chali thi.. ab toh sab dekhne lage!!'' she muttered getting irritated. At same time Maan looked at her but unluckily she was staring her plate complaining. He saw her murmuring. " iise kya hua!!'' he wondered.

Dinner was finished. First Dev left as he got his long awaited call. Dadi was leaving, turned to go and then Maan stood up pushing chair back when Geet held his hand instantly, unintentionally to stop him in hurry. Maan become stunned with sudden touch. He looked back to her then her hold which she had caught unthinking and her eyes were busy to check Dadi ''kahi dekh na le''.. She feared. Her hold was feeble. Maan waited for her to speak but she was waiting Dadi to be unseen from there so could talk to Maan. Her face had impatience and eyes were moving worriedly which made a beautiful combination of shades on her face. Maan liked it. He smiled. When found her hold was about to slip he instantly pressed his free hand on hers which caught Geet attention of her hold. Her lashes raised up toward him in next flash then bowed down shying blushing. She tried to remove her hold but Maan made it firmer. She instantly watched around worriedly then to him. She checked his eyes which had mischief. She twisted hand to be free, pleaded whispering "Maan choriye na,,, anyone can see'' .. In result she got a teasing smile on Maan lips. She knew he was not going to leave her easily. Though she too liked his dominance but this open place was not safe!! ..

"Dadimaa!!!!'' she shouted. Maan instantly left her hand looking at direction where she had pointed out. He found no one and then heard her giggle. He glared her angrily, made her shut her laugh at once. She looked down still could not stop her chuckle. This made Maan angrier. He turned to leave in displeased but stopped by Geet, again hold his hand which had tender and was firmer than before. Geet held him with both hands came nearer but he did not face back to her. She came facing him but Maan turned face side away. She tilt her head, looked him smiling and held her ears " Sorry…'' Maan smiled, raised his hand to cup her face when heard some footsteps. They got alerted and straighten themselves.

"Geet Beta!!'' it was Dadi. Maan immediately made a act like was talking on phone, turned to random direction. " Ji Dadi'' Geet replied nervously..

"Geet I want to talk you. Can you give you home phone number?''

Geet shocked. She didn't expect this. Tensed she asked.. "Why Dadi''

"Geet beta don't think me wrong. I just want to try once talking to your family. At least they should know what happened with you here.. I think I should try making them understand this situation at least for once!!''

"But Dadi.. ''

"please Beta.. if you trust me don't deny. Let me try once!''

Geet nodded helplessly and gave number. Dadi turned to leave when "Dadimaa, mujhe aapse kuch baat karni hai!!'' Maan rushed to her . He was listening all their talk silently. He knew how her family was and No way he would let Dadi made any contact with them. He had to talk Dadi right now, before anything bad happens. " Dadi can we go in your room!!''

Dadi nodded and left while Maan followed her. He turned back gave a look to Geet who was worried like hell. It was the time she had been worrying about, since the new relationship she had been tied in. It was the time which had been making her breath chocked whenever used to think about it. It was time for judgment of her life.. Her future. But her worry calmed down when found a reassuring soothing look from Maan. He said "Everything will be fine'' and she believed it, gave her smile back with a nod.

"Dadima I want to talk to you something'' Maan said.

"Haa beta boliye'' Dadi was not sure that what causing Maan making his talk this much hesitating. He had never any lacking in his words ever since he learned to speak. But what happened today' she wondered.

"Dadi wo actually..''

"What are you doing here.. Chup chup ke ghar ki baante sun rahi ho!!!!'' They both heard Dev shout on someone. Both rushed out thinking on whom, Dev is shouting on like this and went numb seeing Geet stood on door, bowing her head down before him…

Precap : "Dev.. do you even know who is she!!!!!!''

"Mujhe toh nahi pata bro.. aap hi bata dijiye'' Dev answered back with a demon smirk..
