I had to stop and look at the chapter number just to realize that in 7 short chapters you have traversed a long path. From my little sparrow to the girl who is a popular teacher and now taking her first steps out of the nest, the journey has been incredible.

This is a sign of a master story teller at work. I absolutely adored each and every thing that you have put in here. Geet takes me back to the innocence of childhood. The story is not only about that, we have greed at work here in Shoki's mother, loss of control that ruined a life by Shoki, the viciousness of false pride in Darji, the bitterness of someone who has lost her prized son from Taiji and the ultimate human qualities of acceptance and love in Mohinder and Rano.

Today I felt the love surrounding me like a cozy blanket reading Rano and Geet's conversation. The ease and unease with which the topic was explained to the innocent was applause worthy. There is so much depth and love in this relation and as always, your story takes me away with the way you make me feel after reading it. The innocent girl wanting to go play with her friends, is a poignant way of describing the childhood being lost by her.

I am so glad you decided to stay with this.

The part was emotional & u have penned it beautifully especially the part of Rano's explanation to Geet about her unwanted preganancy & man-woman's relationship...hopefully now we will know how Shoki got his daughter
