first of all thanx for the update dear... definitely was missing u...

after realising that maans sirjee is none other than shoki, i went back and read it again... and i was surprised to see whether the compassionate sirjee of maan is the same person who brutally raped chidi? though his crime doesnt decrease by even a point, but was his meanious act was only due to alcohol and friends remarks? or has he changed after that?

u know na how much i love ur detailed reference... in this part too i loved the way u described about dadis fragrance... even i remember my dadis... mysore sandal waala😃... thanx for taking me to my childood days...

so he became a teacher then
and he has a daughter by geet named suta
so she did get pregnant well after all she didnt eat the contraceptive pills naa
so it seems they have all grown up now
and maan doesnt know anything about his sirjee
what he did in a fit of drunken state to his wife well illegal wife to be fair since she wasnt of age
wonder what he wrote to his daughter
means he has seen his daughter but how did geet allow him anywhere near her daughter
or rano and mohinder for that matter

I have to say that this update left me with wet eyes...

For all the sins a person commits from stepping on a life be it an insect to the worst as in rape and murder, several religions promise redemption and forgiveness with the name of God at your last breath. No one is perfect since we are not God and forgiveness is a divine quality. Yet we are willing as a society to easily accuse but find it impossible to forgive even the slightest thing even if it is a remark on our hair or clothes. We will hold that grudge forever.

Shoki's crime was so brutal it is difficult even now for me to forgive him but for him to turned his life around like this, makes me take my hats off to you for redeeming him.

The dream where he kept on trying to reach his daughter was sad. The accusing words of Rano and the innocent terrified eyes of Geet have haunted him to his dying breath as they should.

Maan coming from a single parent home as a rebelling teenager finds guidance at the hands of such a person. Two people seeking something from each other form this bond of trust. He needs Ashok as much as Ashok needs him.

This promise made now starts the journey of the parent...
