The Downpour... Part 10

She reached flat and immediately runs inside and closed the door. On the whole way she had been alerted knowing it was Maan's car and what if he does any plan to trap her again. She took relief breath reaching safely resting back on door when Asha saw her.

"Geet where were you for entire night ????''

Geet opened eyes and everything what had happened yesterday in office started roaming inside her mind. Her relief turned into uneasiness and anger.

"Geet tell me where were you!!! Can't you think how scared I was for you!!!''

"I was in hospital' Geet replied impolitely and walked to her room.

"Hospital!!!' Ash hurried and stopped Geet grabbing her arm. "Are you alright Geet.. what had happened why were you in hospital??'' She checked her up to down in concern.

Looking her worried face Geet controlled down her anger thinking they should talk first about everything. There must be something hidden behind her behavior in office.

"Asha I am fine. That was just .. I dint have my bag and anything so was waiting for you in parking and then''

She told everything but stopped at when Maan had blocked her way..

"Fir Geet.. what happened then,, what Maan sir did???''

"That I also want to know' What happened after I went faint'' She went lost in thought.

"Geet tell me what happened next!!!!'

Geet tried to make atmosphere easy and lied that 'after Maan took her hospital and then he left. She also told that she had got her appointment letter through Adi sir.

"Wow Geet that's great news. So when are you going to join from??'' Ash almost jumped up while reading letter.

"I will not Ash''

"what!! But why Geet??? You said Maan sir helped you in night, he also gave you this job back means he is sorry for what he did then why you can't work there with him!!!''

"That you well know Ash why can't I work there with him!!!'

Asha laughed. "Don't tell me Geet that still you think him your stalker. Oh please girl stop scaring to him. I know he is not a man who will waste his time behind you or any girl like you!!!!!''

Geet didn't like the tone she used. She did not reply headed to her room back.

"Geet I'm sorry if I hurt you but please try to understand yaar no one can get this job as easily as you have got it. Working in KC is a dream for all who want to work in best company in country and you are refusing it for a reason which even you have not any prove that it is really had happened or only believing on your illusion.

"It's not my imagination ash and this, you know very well too. You have seen those messages and every call which I had got. I can't forget days which I had spent in fear for me, my life and for my family and it was same Maan who is your boss!!!

She turned her back to Ash..

''And you know what Ash, I have seen someone's real face too who used to be my best friend and now I cannot trust anyone here, now forth!!!''

Saying she stepped in her room and locked door on Asha face.

Asha expression paled immediately like she had heard something much unexpected. Her mind started to think in high pace.

"No she can't go back. No way I'm going to leave this life, my freedom due to her. I will have to do something to stop her otherwise my parents will call me back. No way I am going back in that dirty small town again. It's only because of Geet Mom dad is ready me to stay here. Don't know what they find in her that more than me they trust on her. Think Ash think something otherwise just be prepare to waste life in that garbage small place. I think I should talk to her.''

Thinking she knocked Geet's door and tried to talk her but Geet did not unlocked it or respond back.

"Geet I know you're angry on me that I did not support you in office but believe me I was so scared with incidents. You don't know how fractious Maan sir is. He could have threw me out from my job too if he got to know that I'm going against him. This job is my family dream Geet and I really can't afford to lose it cause of any reason. But after that I tried to search you but you had already left and I could not find you. In night also I had been waiting for you but you did not come and you can't even imagine how much worried I was!!!!! If you really think that I did mistake that I'm really sorry Geet but please don't ever say that I'm not your best friend!!!'

She cried. More than herself she wanted Geet to hear it and it worked. Geet opened door and hugged her, cried too. They remained like that for minutes and then moved back.

"Ash I know you want me to work here but I can't. I have decided I am leaving everything and returning back tomorrow.''

She returned back in room and went to get fresh while Ash worry reached on peak. After thinking something she left office and called her friend and talked for hours.

Maan woke up early carrying headache due to lack of sleep. He clutched his head and stood up lazily. He checked his phone for any unexpected call or message but then cursed himself for acting weird. For his daily exercise he left for gym which was in Mansion itself and started working out when Geet face flashed in his mind and her touch.. their hug!!!

He paced up his move to remove it from mind but it was getting strong and stronger and finally he stopped. He was breathing hard. Picked up water bottle he emptied it on his face and shook it rigidly.

"Why I am thinking about her !!!!!'

He cursed himself. After calming down little, somehow, he started his move again when a girl called him from back..

Precap : Someone knocked door, Geet opened it and found two unfamiliar men were standing there.

"Who're you"
