Part 18

Morning, Geet came out from room. "Good morning Dadima'' greeted Dadi who was sitting in living hall reading newspaper with Dev, seated on front sofa. "Aaiye Geet baithiye!''

Geet seated next to Dadi, let her eyes wondered in search of Maan, who had not been seen since the time Geet had woken up. She didn't remember that Maan had told he will leave earlier for office. She was curious to see him. She had his leaving food and worried face memory was fresh in mind and so wanted to be sure he is okay!

"What happened Geet.. kya dhundh rahi hai aap?'' Dadi asked found her disturbed.

"Ji!! Nothing '' Geet composed and made herself involve talking with her.

Dev who was seeing her with cornered look spoke "So Geet.. Did you talk to Madhva uncle? How's your case progressing? I mean did he get any clue about your husband?''

Geet became conscious. She started twisting her Dupatta on index finger which Dadi saw. Though Dadi dint like the manner Dev talked with her but she was also eager to know the answer. "Aree haa Geet.. hum toh bhul hi gaye. Did Madhva call?''

Geet found herself trapped with both sides. "No Dadima'' she shook her head and became quite. Dadi became worried for her. She could see Geet was not in peace since yesterday but least she knew the main reason. "Geet you don't worry. Hum abhi baat karte hai '' Dadi caressed her hair and picked up phone to dial Madhva number. Geet became more restless. She wanted to stop whatever was going on as soon as otherwise it will result the biggest risk she afraid.

Dadi talked to Madhva. He handled situation with ease and convinced her. "Geet you don't worry. He said very soon you will be with your own family'' Dadi assured her smiling on which Geet gave a hesitated smile back thinking "I'm in my home Dadi. Babaji please do everything fine soon..''

They were chatting when servant called for breakfast. "Chaliye .'' Dadi made all to come to dining table. Geet settled up on her respective chair where the front chair was empty which was of Maan. Geet wandered "Abhi tak kyu nahi aaye wo!! Abhi tak naraz hai kya!!'' she self thought. Wanted to ask Dadi but how !!

"Why're you not eating Geet'' Dev asked seeing her lost.

"Haan Geet what happened Beta?''

"Nothing Dadi,, actually I'm not feeling hungry" She excused and went to room holding her moist emotion back in eyes. She was being very-very apprehensive due to all this. Her heart desperately wanted to talk Dadi and said the truth so could feel light otherwise, it was choking. Everything was mess.. Muddled.

Dadi became more concerned seeing her condition. She could understand that Geet must be feeling alone and outsider here and so her hesitation and depression was increasing more day by day.

"I want to do something for her..'' Dadi spoke softly, caught Dev attention. "Did you say anything Dadima?''

"Dev kya aap kuch kar sakte hai. You too had been there in HP, can you get any information about her husband from there? Aakpe toh kai friend hai na waha aas pass "

Dev thought for a while and then nodded "Yes Dadi you don't worry. I do something. I also can't see her upset!!'' and gave a smirk.

Maan came out from meeting room and rested on his seat in cabin. His mind was tired and something fresh was needed it to be resumed for working again. And then the thought of Geet appeared inside his closed eyes. Remembering her thoughts he came across the last evening when she was eager to find something in hotel. He wondered what? .. "Should I call her and ask to come today again?'' he thought. He smiled, thinking "is it really me who wanting to spend a little moment again with her!!''. His lips carved broader smile. Shaking his head picked up his cell to call her.

"Hello!!'' Dadi answered his call. He cuts thinking how would say Dadi to give phone to Geet! It will look odd!! "Uff I can't even talk her properly'' he got annoyed. Then a thought came in his mind. "Haan ye thik rahega !!'' he smirked. Left office and hopped inside car instantly leaving for hotel alone himself.

It took him about an hour to reach there and then reached to the floor they had been. He had already got done everything working inside so could use lift and opened the door of their room. As he stepped inside, the past night came flashing in his mind like a refreshing glimmer. He could see her illusion, stood near window looking out covered in her red bridal wear and was looking breath taking. Her hair was flying in cool wind as same as that night she had. He lost his track, went nearer and raised his hand to touch her, her hair. It felt smooth, felt tickle in his fingers. It felt nice besides and encouraged to do more. He touched her shoulder, made her face him, made her look in his eyes and she did. She did glanced in his black deep eyes and smiled. Maan eyes travelled to her sheeny lips which was inviting him. He could not decide should go further or back out. He was knowing somewhere it was mere dream.. Not true yet, couldn't control and bend his head ahead. She closed her eyes in turn. Maan was eager to end this distance soon, was waiting for her lips to come in contact.. His whole body was on fire, was reacting oddly nice but his wait was not ending. His eyebrow frowned. Why his wait was not ending!! He opened eyes after getting irritated and found she was not there. It took time him to come in proper sense and when came he rebuked to self like a kid... "Maan tu sach me pagal ho gaya hai.. what was you thinking!!!!'' he shook his head and started to search what she wanted to do.

He came back Mansion in night. He was happy more than any day used to be usually. Something was in his hand which was hiding from all eyes and took in his room right away. He reached and closed door behind. Geet did not know his come. She had been restless entire day for many reasons and deadly wanted to talk Maan. She could not able to bear more this hide n seeks of her life. She was not liking to live in her own house like a stranger and still did not know, was this house whether relates her or not!!'' she wanted answer.. She wanted peace.. She wanted a family of her own. She hated to cheat an old woman who cared her like her own family. Geet wanted to tell Dadi everything. If not Maan then she self but she was needed Maan permission before taking any step further and for this, she had to meet him, talk him in alone.

Precap : (Same 😛) "What're you doing here Geet. chup chup ke ghar ki baante sun rahi ho !!'' Dev shouts while looking her strangely ..
